The rapid spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has led to general psychosis among the population in Ivory Coast. The medical profession, on the front line of the treatment, was in distress, given the risk of exposure to the patient. It is in this context that this study has set itself the objective of studying anxiety among caregivers involved in the management of people with COVID-19. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study that included a sample of 50 stakeholders. It took place from July to September 2020 at the Treatment Center of the Village of Information Technologies and Biotechnology in Grand-Bassam (VITIB) and the Infectious Diseases Treatment Center (CTMI) of the University Hospital (CHU) of Cocody. The results indicate that caregivers were male in 52% of cases with an average age of 36 years. These are: doctors, nurses and caregivers respectively in the proportions of 18%, 42% and 40% with more than half (58%) who had more than 5 years of seniority. A proportion of 34% of caregivers felt they were insufficiently protected. The Hamilton Scale assessment of anxiety showed that 14% had mild anxiety, 6% moderate anxiety and 2% severe anxiety. There was no link between the degree of anxiety and professional seniority but also between the degree of anxiety and the marital situation. This work has therefore made it possible to see that anxiety is a real problem for caregivers dedicated to the management of COVID-19 patients.

A hydraulic model test for ￢-type groynes (with “￢” shape) was conducted to analyze the flow characteristics around these groynes. The results of the model tests are expected to be used as fundamental information in designing the ￢-type groyne constructed in the field. Main hydraulic factors such as velocity and thalweg line changes in the main channel and separation area were analyzed in this study. The thalweg line is a stream line where the maximum velocity occurs, whereas the separation area is the boundary between the main flow and the recirculation zone. Model tests with 5 different arm lengths of the ￢-type groynes were conducted by changing the velocity. The LSPIV (Large-Scale Particle Image Velocimetry) technique was used to measure and analyze flow variation around the ￢-type groynes. The velocity in the main channel measured to be increased by 1.5 times. The velocity variation on groyne arm length is little. The width of the thalweg lines (TCL) was changed to 55 - 57% of the channel width. The Froude number did not affect the thalweg line (TCL) and separation line (Sh) changes, however.

In a river, sediment discharge, which goes through erosion, transport, and deposition by flowing water, is important data for river projects. The transport of river sediment occurs depending on the conveyance of a channel as the basin sediment discharge, which has been introduced to the river via the outflow of the basin by the erosion of fertile topsoil or ground surface due to rainfall in the target basin, and the sediment eroded within the channel is mixed together. River sediment is a major factor for river formation and ecological habitat, and is a field that is difficult to analyze or predict. For the abandoned channel restoration of the Mangyeong River, this study aimed to develop a discharge-suspended sediment load rating curve by collecting suspended load and bed material at the Bong-dong gauging station, which is a test section. The developed discharge-suspended sediment load rating curve was proposed based on the existing discharge data and the measured sediment load. The measured data and the rating curve will be used as the major data for stability and habitat restoration during channel restoration.

AIM:To evaluate seroprevalence of hepatitis A virus (HAV) antibody and investigate demographic,clinical,and laboratory features of recent cases in ***:For the evaluation of hepatitis A seroprevalence,we analyzed the data from 3127 subjects including,healthcare workers and patients who visited Konkuk University Hospital,a secondary referral center,from January to October *** sera with positive IgM were excluded from seroprevalence data for total HAV *** retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of 419 patients with HAV,who were diagnosed by the presence of serum IgM antibodies against *** patients presented at Konkuk University Hospital between August 2005 and September ***:Among 3127 sera tested,1428 (45.7%)were positive for anti-HAV *** seroprevalence was very low in teenagers or those in their twenties,increased in those in their thirties,and was > 90% in older *** children younger than 10 years,seroprevalence was increased *** patients with HAV hepatitis were in their twenties and *** γ-glutamyl transpeptidase increased with age and was significantly higher in patients older than 30 *** of severity,such as decreased albumin and increased bilirubin,were also more prominent in the older age group;however,the leukocyte count was higher and the frequency of leukopenia was lower in younger patients than in older ***:There has been an apparent epidemiological shift in HAV seroprevalence and a change in the peak age of HAV *** study could provide baseline data of recent hepatitis A in Asia.

A 63-year-old male with old myocardial infarction was referred to cardiology department with cardiac *** revealed Q wave in the precordial leads demonstrating ischemia of anterior left ventricular *** pulmonary edema was documented on chest *** echocardiography showed severely reduced left ventricular function (EF: 28%) with enlarged left atrium and *** angiography was performed showing a total occlusion of the proximal portion of the left anterior descending artery (LAD)(Figure 1) with chronic total occlusion in the proximal portion of right coronary *** stent 2.75 × 23 mm (Abbott) was implanted in the proximal LAD *** angiography after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) revealed no definite coronary fistula (Figure 2).Two weeks later,follow-up coronary angiography demonstrated multiple coronary-left ventricular fistulas (Figure 3) which were absent in the previous angiography.

Pervasive developmental disorders (PDD) remain little known to populations in developing countries. In black Africa their social representations remain strongly influenced by local belief systems. The general objective of this study was to understand the perceptions and representations of Ivorian parents vis-à-vis PDD. This was a mixed (qualitative and quantitative) prospective cross-sectional study with a descriptive aim that involved a sample of 49 parents. The sampling was of the qualitative type by multiple cases with reasoned choice by saturation. Our results showed that male parents were mostly aged between 40 - 49 years (48.98%) with a higher level of education (67.34%) while mothers were mostly aged between 30 - 39 (61.22%) and a higher level (30.61%). Autistic children were negatively perceived by their parents: either as a source of psychological suffering (82.85%), or as mysterious children who sacrificed their parents (44.66%), or as “bobo” children (mute children in common Ivorian language) (16.66%) or like rude children (13.34%). The supposed origin of the disorder according to the parents was mystical-religious (60.94%);natural (25%);hereditary (6.25%). In 6.25% of cases, PDD were assumed to be of unknown or iatrogenic origin attributable to vaccination (1.56%). 75.51% of parents said that in addition to conventional medical therapies, they also used traditional therapies. The use of this therapeutic alternative would be linked to the perceptions and beliefs that feed the socio-cultural representations of our respondents.
