In this paper, we study the structures of monomial Hopf algebras over a field of positive characteristic. A necessary and sufficient condition for the monomial coalgebra Cd(n) to admit Hopf structures is given here, and if it is the case, all graded Hopf structures on Cd(n)are completely classified. Moreover, we construct a Hopf algebras filtration on Cd(n) which will help us to discuss a conjecture posed by Andruskiewitsch and Schneider. Finally combined with a theorem by Montgomery, we give the structure theorem for all monomial Hopf algebras.

In this paper, the Crank-Nicholson + component-consistent pressure correction method for the numerical solution of the unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equation of [1] on the rectangular half-Staggered mesh has been extended to the curvilinear half-Staggered mesh. The discrete projection, both for the projection step in the solution procedure and for the related differential-algebraic equations, has been carefully studied and verified. It is proved that the proposed method is also unconditionally (in t) nonlinearly stable on the curvilinear mesh, provided the mesh is not too skewed. It is seen that for problems with an outflow boundary, the half-Staggered mesh is especially advantageous. Results of preliminary numerical experiments support these claims.

In Part I and Part II of this paper initial-boundary value problems of the acoustic wave equation with absorbing boundary conditions are considered. Their finite element-finite difference computational schemes are proposed. The stability of the schemes is discussed and the corresponding stability conditions are given. Part I and Part II concern the first- and the second-order absorbing boundary conditions, respectively. Finally, numerical results are presented in Part II to show the correctness of theoretical analysis. (Author abstract) 7 Refs.

The indirect release of chemical energy of fuel is investigated, and a new mechanism is proposed to identify the cascade utilization of chemical energy of fuel more clearly. Based on the concept of energy level, the internal phenomenon of the indirect chemical energy release is disclosed, and the equations of energy level describing the utilization of chemical energy and thermal energy during the indirect chemical energy release process are obtained. From theoretical analysis, we find that the superiority of the indirect chemical energy release of fuel comes from the cascade utilization of the fuel's chemical energy. Moreover, the cascade utilization of chemical energy is verified by the investigation of CRGT (chemically recuperated gas turbine). As a result, the thermal exergy obtained from the chemical energy release of fuel increases by 2 % -3 % . The results obtained here may help a deeper understanding of indirect chemical energy release of fuel and provide a theoretical basis for the synthesis of innovative energy systems.

In applications, the traditional estimation procedure generally begins with model *** a specific model is selected, subsequent estimation is conducted under the selected model withoutconsideration of the uncertainty from the selection process. This often leads to the underreportingof variability and too optimistic confidence sets. Model averaging estimation is an alternative to thisprocedure, which incorporates model uncertainty into the estimation process. In recent years, therehas been a rising interest in model averaging from the frequentist perspective, and some importantprogresses have been made. In this paper, the theory and methods on frequentist model averagingestimation are surveyed. Some future research topics are also discussed.

In this paper, based on the natural boundary reduction advanced by Feng and Yu, we couple the finite elementapproach with the natural boundary element method to study theweak solvability and Galerkin approximation of a class ofnonlinear exterior boundary value problems. Abstract The left semi-tensor product of matrices was proposed in [2]. In this paper the right semi-tensor product is introduced first. Some basic properties are presented and compared with those of the left semi-tensor *** two new applications are investigated. Firstly, its applications to connection, an important concept in differential geometry, is considered. The structure matrix and the Christoffel matrix are introduced. The transfer formulas under coordinate transformation are expressed in matrix form. Certain new results are obtained. Secondly, the structure of finite dimensional Lie algebra, etc. are investigated under the matrix *** applications demonstrate the usefulness of the new matrix products.
