当前烟气脱硝除尘净化技术主要分别在脱硝单元和除尘单元完成:脱硝过程主要包括基于V-W-Ti催化体系的选择性催化还原(SCR)以及选择性非催化还原技术(SNCR);除尘过程则包括湿法除尘、电除尘、过滤除尘等多种工艺技术。脱硝与除尘单元的独立运行不仅增加占地空间,还显著提升设备投资和运行成本。因此,如何将烟气脱硝除尘一体化,缩短工艺流程,降低工艺成本,是当前烟气脱硝除尘净化领域发展的一个重要方向。当前的研究主要集中于脱硝除尘工艺耦合与优化以降低工程和操作成本,但是由于当前脱硝与除尘工艺的相对独立性,如何在同一单元实现燃烧烟气脱硝除尘净化依然是该领域面临的重大挑战。催化滤芯或催化滤袋,可实现脱硝与除尘单元在同一操作单元内完成,可显著降低烟气脱硝除尘的工艺和运行成本,并成为当前烟气净化领域的一个新兴热点方向。针对中高温烟气净化,本文首先研发了可同时去除NOx和灰尘的V-W-Mo-Ti催化滤芯,并在实验室和中试现场进行测试。研究了催化剂浆料,催化剂负载量和空速,以进一步优化催化滤芯以获得更好的SCR活性和工业实用性。此外,在实验室条件下研究了粉尘对催化活性和压降的影响,作为中试应用的数据支持。2700只优化后的催化滤芯在100,000 Nm3/h的玻璃窑炉烟气中进行了同时脱硫,脱硝和除尘的中试验证。在入口烟气NOx浓度2600mg/Nm3,SOx浓度3000 mg/Nm3,玻璃灰浓度500 mg/Nm3,温度为350℃条件下稳定运行90天,其压降低于1.4 KPa,NOx转化率和SOx转化率均为95%,除尘效率高达99%。对于200-250℃的中低温烟气净化,开发了具有良好脱硝活性,除尘效率和高附着强度的同时脱硝、除尘催化滤袋。对涂层用催化剂粉末的研究表明,催化剂中V和Mo含量的增加可以提高低温活性,所选的涂层用V10Mo10配方在180℃时表现出最佳100%的NO转化活性。对催化滤袋的进一步研究发现,低比例的PTFE,高催化剂负载量和较长的停留时间(例如,较低的过滤速度或双层过滤器)将有助于实现高的脱硝效率。在催化剂负载量为500 g/m2、使用10%PTFE和0.5 m/min线速度且存在SO2/H2O的条件下,双层催化滤布在200-250℃仍可获得超过80%的NO转化率和99.9%的除尘效率,证明了其工业应用的巨大可行性。在高粉尘浓度的中小型锅炉烟气净化领域,本文的研究结果表明,催化滤芯或催化布袋具有很强的可行性和工业应用的可行性。

Epispadias in a Child with Intact Prepuce: A Rare Congenital Abnormality

Epispadias is a rare genitourinary malformation, more so is epispadias with intact prepuce. Incidence of epispadias with intact prepuce is not known however, there are few case reports and a case series. We present a 5-year-old boy brought to our facility by his parent for circumcision. Further evaluation revealed a short penis with broad base and intact prepuce. The preputial slit was dorsally oriented. On retracting the prepuce, there was corona epispadias with wide and healthy urethral plate. No meatal stenosis or chordee noticed. Other findings were normal. He had epispadias repair. The postoperative period was uneventful. Three months after operation, the prepuce was easily retractable over the penis and the penis was cosmetically acceptable.

Optimizing the Synthesis of Ethyl tert-Butyl Ether in Continuous Catalytic Distillation Column Using New Ion Exchange Resin Catalyst

Liquid phase synthesis of one of the important fuel oxygenate, ethyl tert-butyl ether （ETBE）, from etha-nol and tert-butyl alcohol （TBA） has been studied in catalytic distillation column （CDC） using ion exchange resin catalyst CT-145H. A packed CDC of 1.2 m height and 50 mm diameter with indigenously developed reactive sec-tion packing was used to generate experimental data. Effect of different key variables on product purity in distillate, was investigated to find the optimum operating conditions for ETBE synthesis. The optimum conditions for 0.2 kg·s-1 of ethanol feed were found：reboiler duty of 375 W, molar feed ratio of 1︰1.3 of reactants, and reflux ratio of 7. Concentration profiles for each component along each column section at optimum conditions were also drawn. Neither output nor input multiplicity was observed at experimental conditions.

The Incorporation of Precautionary Principle in the Planning of Global System for Mobile Communications Mast Locations in Built-up Areas： Proposals for Jimeta, Nigeria

This paper aimed at incorporating the precautionary principles into the planning and development of GSM （global system for mobile communications） masts within the built-up areas of Jimeta. Using GIS （geographic information system） analysis technique, the zone of precautionary principle was defined to 500 meters radius as the zone within which precautionary measures are exercised. The criteria for siting GSM base station are also equally identified. For instance, the presence of certain elements within the precautionary zone like schools, hospitals, residential density and overlap of RF （radio frequency） occurrences, may disqualify any mast location. Analysis of the land use within precautionary zone has shown various proportions of exposure to RF, whereas, only 3.39% of the masts are suitably located and 94.92% are not and therefore should be relocated. The study recommend measures for addressing physical development within precautionary areas, including land conversion and mast sharing to reduce potential harmful effects of RF emanating from GSM base stations.

Experimental Study on the Use of Trass as a Supplementary Cementitious Material in Pervious Concrete

Abstract： The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the suitability of using trass as a supplementary cementing material in pervious concrete. OPC （Ordinary Portland Cement） was replaced in the concrete mix by 15%, 25% and 35% weight percentages and the results were compared with reference mixtures with 100% Portland cement. The variables in this study were trass content, aggregate size and water to cement ratio. Sixteen eases of concrete mixtures were tested to study physical and mechanical properties of hardened concrete, including porosity, permeability, compressive strength, splitting-tensile strength and flexural strength at various ages. Results indicated that mechanical properties of the pervious concrete marginally decreased with the increased content of trass when compared to the reference mixtures. However, at later ages the differences were insignificant.

Non-Associative Property of 123-Avoiding Class of Aunu Permutation Patterns

This paper presents the non-associative and non-commutative properties of the 123-avoiding patterns of Aunu permutation patterns. The generating function of the said patterns has been reported earlier by the author [1] [2]. The paper describes how these non-associative and non commutative properties can be established by using the Cayley table on which a binary operation is defined to act on the 123-avoiding and 132-avoiding patterns of Aunu permutations using a pairing scheme. Our results have generated larger matrices from permutations of points of the Aunu patterns of prime cardinality. It follows that the generated symbols can be used in further studies and analysis in cryptography and game theory thereby providing an interdisciplinary approach and applications of these important permutation patterns.

The retromer complex,composed of the cargo-selective complex(CSC)Vps35-Vps29-Vps26 in complex with the sorting nexin dimer Vps5-Vps17,mediates the sorting and retrograde transport of cargo proteins from the endosomes to the trans-Golgi network in eukaryotic *** proteins belong to the Ras superfamily of small GTPases and regulate many trafficking events including vesicle formation,budding,transport,tethering,docking and fusion with target ***,we investigated the potential functional relationship between the retromer complex and the 11 Rab proteins that exist in Fusarium graminearum using genetic and high-resolution laser confocal microscopic *** found that only FgRab5(FgRab5A and FgRab5B)and FgRab7 associate with the retromer *** FgVps35-GFP and FgVps17-GFP are mis-localized and appear diffused in the cytoplasm ofΔFgrab5A,ΔFgrab5B andΔFgrab7 mutants as compared to their punctate localization within the endosomes of the ***7 and FgRab5B were found to co-localize with the retromer on endosomal *** strikingly,we found that these three Rab GTPases are indispensable for endosome biogenesis as both early and late endosomes could not be detected in the cells of the mutants after FM4-64 staining of the cells,while they were very clearly seen in the wild-type ***,FgRab7 was found to recruit FgVps35 but not FgVps17 to the endosomal membranes,whereas FgRab5B recruits both FgVps35 and FgVps17 to the ***,we conclude that the Rab proteins FgRab5A,FgRab5B and FgRab7 play critical roles in the biogenesis of endosomes and in regulating retromer-mediated trafficking in ***.

Correlation of microstructural and corrosion characteristics of quaternary shape memory alloys Cu-Al-Ni-X(X=Mn or Ti)

The effects of different contents(0.4%, 0.7%, and 1.0%, mass fraction) of Mn or Ti additions on the micro structure, shape memory effect and the corrosion behaviour of Cu-Al-Ni shape memory alloys were studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and electrochemical and immersion tests in NaCl solution. It was observed that the microstructure, shape memory effect and corrosion characteristics are highly sensitive to the composition variations. It was found that the highest strain recovery was with 0.7% addition of Mn or Ti. This may be attributed to the presence of precipitation with a high volume fraction and the grain refinement. The electrochemical test showed that the formation of oxide layers in both Cu-Al-Ni-Mn and Cu-Al-Ni-Ti shape memory alloys(SMAs) provided good passivation which enhanced the corrosion resistance of the alloys. Immersion test showed that in Cu-Al-Ni-Mn SMAs, pitting corrosion occurred through feebleness in the oxide layer. A corrosion product adjacent to the pits was rich in Al/Mn oxide and depleted in Cu while inside of the pit it was rich in Cu. In Cu-Al-Ni-Ti SMAs, localized corrosion occurred on the surface of the specimens and dealuminization attack was also observed in the matrix.

Effects of Different Treatments on Seed Germination and Improvement of <i>Vitellaria paradoxa</i>

Shea butter (Vitellaria paradoxa) tree is one of the most important tree species in Africa owing to its high potential in reduction of poverty and hunger in rural areas and enhancing environmental sustainability. All parts of shea tree are important from bark to wood and from leaves to fruits. Despite all the uses and many more, shea is amongst the endangered species of trees because of over-utilization, low regeneration abilities and lack of efficient propagation methods. Consequently, this research seeks to determine the most efficient methods for propagating V. paradoxa. The experiment consists of three stages. In the first stage, complete fruits were planted without depulping;in the second experiment, the seeds were exposed to single seed treatments that were applied to the seeds and in the third experiment, the seeds were exposed to double seed treatments. It was observed that intact fruits did not germinate while the results showed the single seeds treatment to significantly have affected germination performance. De-shelled seeds germinated faster (43 days) than all other treatments but 48 hours soaking produced the highest germination percentage (91.7%). An even better result was recorded with double seeds treatments in which de-shelled plus 24 hours soaked seed germinated faster (39.3 days) than other treatments while sandpapered plus 24 hours soaked seeds had the best germination percentage (75%). Therefore, scarification using sandpaper plus soaking for 24 hours was identified as the best treatment for breaking seed dormancy in V. paradoxa.
