Computer Assisted Alerts Using Mental Model Approach for Customer Service Improvement

Warning alerts are specially designed to protect user rights and safety to avoid serious damage caused by overlooking the essence of warning alerts. Today’s world of Information Communication Technology (ICT) needs improvement and to review the decisions of security experts in terms of improving warning designs and dialogues, and timely inform the authorities to take quick action at the right time and choice. Human behaviour is deeply involved in most of the security failures and its poor response. If we are able to check and monitor human behaviour in any organisation, we can achieve quality assurance and provide best services to our customers. We have arranged a study in the Center of Post Graduate Studies, International Islamic University, Malaysia (CPS-IIUM), department of Hajj Services-Makkah, and Hospital Management System-Makkah comprised of Observation, Interviews, Questionnaire and discussion based on organizational structure and job activities of people involved in different scenarios and positions under one umbrella of organizational objectives in order to trap the human error in order to take rapid action and response from the management team. Human behaviour is deeply observed and checked while performing different job activities in order to identify the serious errors at the right time during job performance at various levels. We have applied the concept of Brahm’s Language for the simulation of human behaviour which proves an opportunity to simulate human behaviour while performing job activities. Customer service can be improved easily if necessary measures and decisions are taken at the right time and place in any organisation.

Edge Coloring of Graphs with Applications in Coding Theory

In this paper,a new type of edge coloring of graphs together with an algorithm for such an edge coloring is presented to construct some columnweight three low-density parity-check(LDPC)codes whose Tanner graphs are free of *** kind of edge coloring is applied on some well-known classes of graphs such as complete graphs and complete bipartite graphs to generate some column-weight 3 LDPC codes having flexibility in terms of code length and ***,the constructed(3;k)-regular codes with regularities k=4;5;:::;22 have lengths n=12;20;26,35;48;57;70;88;104;117;140;155;176;204;228;247;280;301;330;having minimum block length compared to the best known similar codes in the *** addition to linear complexity of generating such parity-check matrices,they can be considered as the base matrices of some quasi-cyclic(QC)LDPC codes with maximum achievable girth 18,which inherit the low-complexity encoder implementations of QC-LDPC *** results show that the QC-LDPC codes with large girth lifted from the constructed base matrices have good performances and outperform random codes,progressive edge growth LDPC codes,some finite fields and group rings based QC-LDPC codes and also have a close competition to the standard IEEE 802.16e(WiMAX)code.

A Compact Flexible Circularly Polarized Implantable Antenna for Biotelemetry Applications

With the help of in-body antennas,the wireless communication among the implantable medical devices(IMDs)and exterior monitoring equipment,the telemetry system has brought us many ***,a very thin-profile circularly polarized(CP)in-body antenna,functioning in ISM band at 2.45 GHz,is proposed.A tapered coplanar waveguide(CPW)method is used to excite the *** radiator contains a pentagonal shape with five horizontal slits inside to obtain a circular polarization behavior.A bendable Roger Duroid RT5880 material(εr=2.2,tanδ=0.0009)with a typical 0.25 mm-thickness is used as a *** proposed antenna has a total volume of 21×13×0.25 *** antenna covers up a bandwidth of 2.38 to 2.53 GHz(150 MHz)in vacuum,while in skin tissue it covers 1.56 to 2.72 GHz(1.16 GHz)and in the muscle tissue covers 2.16 to 3.17 GHz(1.01 GHz).GHz).The flexion analysis in the x and y axes was also performed in simulation as the proposed antenna works with a wider bandwidth in the skin and muscle *** simulation and the curved antenna measurements turned out to be in good *** impedance bandwidth of−10 dB and the axis ratio bandwidth of 3 dB(AR)are measured on the skin and imitative gel of the pig at 27.78%and 35.5%,13.5%and 4.9%,respectively,at a frequency of 2.45 *** simulations revealed that the specific absorption rate(SAR)in the skin is 0.634 and 0.914 W/kg in muscle on *** recommended SAR values are below the limits set by the federal communications commission(FCC).Finally,the proposed low-profile implantable antenna has achieved very compact size,flexibility,lower SAR values,high gain,higher impedance and axis ratio bandwidths in the skin and muscle tissues of the human *** antenna is smaller in size and a good applicant for application in medical implants.

The existence of different organic chemicals is common in industrial effluents and environments. The persistent organic chemicals （POPs） are the well-known organics that are amongst the unsafe and dangerous chemicals, because they have adverse effect to human health. These organics may be found in the fog, in atmosphere, in precipitation, in groundwater, surface water and soil. These toxic chemicals could be spread through living organisms and food chain and interact with other contamination. All together, the result is critical damage of natural equilibriums, thus, interaction of organics with prospective adsorbents can influence the environmental behavior and fate. Sorption characteristics and bio-toxicity are the leading focuses in contaminant behavior studies, largely because these two processes are ubiquitous in all environmental media. However, in the past few years, different results were reported in literature depending upon the experimental conditions, concluding both increased and decreased sorption. Adsorption of di-ethyl phthalate （DEP）, a selected chemical from different phthalic acid esters （PAEs） by different multi-wallled carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs） were conducted under different water chemical conditions to investigate the influence of thermodynamics in combination with site-sorption energy distribution and pH *** nanotubes have been extensively studied as a potential material to be used in a variety of applications because of their specific and tunable physical and chemical properties. The fast growth in industrial applications and production of CNTs, however, has also lifted serious concerns over their potential impacts on living organisms due to the evidence of their toxicity. Ontogenetic changes in feeding and food preferences of the dog conch Laevistrombus canarium Linnaeus 1758 (Mollusca： Gastropoda) from Merambong shoal, Malaysia

Laevistrombus canarium is one of the marine gastropod mollusks that have high commercial value, particularly in the aquaculture sector in Malaysia. This study was conducted to determine the feeding and food items of L. canarium at different ontogenetic stages （juveniles, sub-adults and adults） from Merambong shoals, Malaysia. Field observations on feeding activity were conducted, followed by detailed laboratory analysis on the stomach content. Five-minutes observations on randomly selected individuals were conducted at the field sampling site and their feeding activities were recorded with reference to age stage. Various shell sizes from each ontogenetic stage were randomly collected and quickly anaesthetized with ice and preserved in 10% formalin before being transported to the laboratory for stomach content analyses. Field observations showed that L. canarium mainly grazed on epiphytes occurring on seagrass （46.67%）, followed by sediment surface （40%） and epiphytes occurring on macroalgae （13.33%）. Stomach content analyses showed a significant difference （P〈0.05） in gastro-somatic index （Gasi） between the juveniles （0.39±0.05）, sub-adults （0.68±0.09） and adults （0.70±0.05）（P〈0.05）. Food items found in the conch stomach include diatoms, detritus, foraminifera, seagrass and macroalgae fragments, sand particles and shell fragments. The Index of Relative Importance （%IRI） indicates three main types of food dominated the three ontogenetic stages namely diatoms, sand particles and detritus. However, no significant difference （P〉0.05） was detected between the three main food items （diatoms, sand particles and detritus） among the ontogenetic stages. Therefore, feeding activity revealed the role of the dog conch in the marine food network. While, classification of the types of food consumed by L. canarium through stomach content analysis determines the particular position of the gastropod in the food chain. The effect of different initial densities of nematode (Meloidogyne javanica) on the build-up of Pasteuria penetrans population

Pasteuria penetrans will build-up faster where there is a high initial nematode density and can suppress root-knot nematode populations in the roots of tomato plants. The effect of different initial densities of nematode (Meloidogyne javanica)(150, 750, 1500, 3000) and P. penetrans infected females (F1, F3) densities (F0=control and AC=absolute control without nematode or P. penetrans inoculum) on the build-up of Pasteuria population was investigated over four crop cycles. Two major points of interest were highlighted. First, that within a confined soil volume, densities of P. penetrans can increase >100 times within 2 or 3 crop cycles. Second, from a relatively small amount of spore inoculum, infection of the host is very high. There were more infected females in the higher P. penetrans doses. The root growth data confirms the greater number of females in the controls particularly at the higher inoculum densities in the third and fourth crops. P. penetrans generally caused the fresh root weights to be higher than those in the control. P. penetrans has shown greater reduction of egg masses per plant at most *** effects of different initial densities of M. javanica and P. penetrans on the development of the pest and parasite populations were monitored. And no attempt was made to return the P. penetrans spores to the pots after each crop so the build-up in actual numbers of infected females and spores under natural conditions may be underestimated.

In this work, readily prepared copper supported on the SiO2 nanoparticles has been found to effectively catalyze the 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of a variety of azides, alkynes, epoxides and sodium azide, furnishing the correspond- ing 1,2,3-triazoles and β-hydroxytriazoles. Click reaction proceeds in short reaction times and under mild reaction conditions, and the resulting products are obtained in good yields at ambient temperature.

A Detailed Review on License Plate Detection and Recognition Methods

License Plate Detection and Recognition (LPDR) is crucial for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to ensure traffic safety and control. LPDR systems are widely used in traffic monitoring， vehicle safety， Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication， and reducing traffic accidents. Modern technologies like autonomous driving and traffic optimization require secured V2V communication. Vehicles can use the LPDR system to identify nearby vehicles to communicate safely. With the expansion of applications in daily life， LPDR is facing many challenges. From the simple static camera used at the parking lot entrance， the LPDR systems are currently used for dynamic recognition of vehicle License Plates (LPs)， which is very difficult due to camera movement， camera angle， and distance from the vehicles. Recognizing LPs from different countries using a single algorithm is challenging since different nations use different characters， and LPs comprise multiple lines. For instance， Arabic characters could be more challenging to recognize. This article provides a performance comparison of several real-time tested and simulating LPDR methods. An ideal LPDR system must eliminate the challenges arising from new applications. The LPDR system needs to be designed to work accurately on static/dynamic conditions to develop V2V communication. By categorizing existing well-known LPDR approaches into conventional and machine learning techniques， this review tried to clarify the importance of each type of method. This work aims to review LP detection， character segmentation， and character recognition algorithms and provide guidance on future trends in this area.

Label-free colorimetric nanosensor with improved sensitivity for Pb^2+ in water by using a truncated 8-17 DNAzyme

Water pollution accidents, such as the Flint water crisis in the United States, caused by lead contamination have raised concern on the safety of drinking water distribution systems. Thus, the routine monitoring of lead in water is highly required and demands efficient, sensitive, cost-effective, and reliable lead detection methods. This study reports a label-free colorimetric nanosensor that uses unmodified gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) as indicators to enable rapid and ultra-sensitive detection of lead in environmental water. The 8-17 DNAzyme was truncated in this study to facilitate the detachment of single-stranded DNA fragments after substrate cleavage in the presence of Pb「. The detached fragments were adsorbed over AuNPs and protected against salt concentration-induced aggregation. Accordingly, high Pb^2+ would result in rapid color change from blue to pink. The established sensing principle achieved a sensitive limit of detection of 0.2×10^-9mol/L Pb^2+. with a linear working range of two orders of magnitude from 0.5×10^-9mol/L to 5×10^-9mol/L. The selectivity of the nanosensor was demonstrated by evaluating the interfering metal ions. The developed nanosensor can serve as a substitute for the rapid analysis and monitoring of trace lead levels under the drinking water distribution system and even other environmental water samples.

Moisture and Temperature Response of Structural and Lithology based Thermophysical and Energy Saving Traits of Limestone using Experimental and Least-Square Fitting Methods

Thermophysical analysis of the crustal rocks is important for heat transfer determination and insulation purposes to save energy in *** the presented work,thermophysical properties of four limestones were investigated in dry and moist state under ambient conditions by using a transient plane source method.A thermal constant analyzer was used to raise the sample temperature and to measure the thermal properties in the temperature range of 300 K to 433 *** conductivity and diffusivity were measured by developing a linear relationship between temperature response of TPS (transient plane source) sensor and dimensionless time function through least-square fitting *** experimental observations and predicted thermal conductivity of samples have shown that in-situ observations are important to determine the thermal properties *** effect of temperature on thermal properties of limestone was defined by considering the chemical composition of the samples and associated heat transfer *** thermal conductivity and diffusivity of limestone decreased while specific heat capacity increased with a rise in *** overall findings indicate that the spinoff of this research is useful in studying the reliance of thermophysical properties of rocks on their structures and lithology.
