Purpose-Feature selection is an important step for data pre-processing specially in the case of high dimensional data *** of the data model is reduced if the model is trained with high dimensional data set,and it results in poor classification ***,before training the model an important step to apply is the feature selection on the dataset to improve the performance and classification ***/methodology/approach-A novel optimization approach that hybridizes binary particle swarm optimization(BPSO)and differential evolution(DE)for fine tuning of SVM classifier is *** name of the implemented classifier is given as ***-This approach is evaluated using 20 UCI benchmark text data classification data ***,the performance of the proposed technique is also evaluated on UCI benchmark image data set of cancer *** the results,it can be observed that the proposed DEPSOSVMtechniques have significant improvement in performance over other algorithms in the literature for feature *** proposed technique shows better classification accuracy as ***/value-The proposed approach is different from the previous work,as in all the previous work DE/(rand/1)mutation strategy is used whereas in this study DE/(rand/2)is used and the mutation strategy with BPSO is *** difference is on the crossover approach in our case as we have used a novel approach of comparing best particle with sigmoid *** core contribution of this paper is to hybridize DE with BPSO combined with SVM classifier(DEPSOSVM)to handle the feature selection problems.

Development of a charge transfer space loop to improve adsorption performance in aerial electrostatic spray

In order to solve the problem of insufficient adsorption rate of droplets on the target back via aerial electrostatic spray,this study proposed a high-voltage electrostatic generator to charge the liquids in two isolated water tanks with positive and negative charges respectively.A charge transfer loop was developed in space between the aerial electrostatic spray system and the *** method greatly enhanced the adsorption performance under outdoor conditions that 16.7%droplets density increased on the target front,a nearly fourfold destiny increased on the target back compared with the conventional UAV spray *** target back-to-front ratio of droplet density was improved from 6.1%to 25.7%,which validated the satisfactory performance of the developed system.

Achievements and prospects of grass pea(Lathyrus sativus L.) improvement for sustainable food production

Grass pea offers an attractive choice for sustainable food production, owing to its intrinsic properties including limited water requirement and drought tolerance. However, low productivity and the presence of a neurotoxin(ODAP) have posed major obstacles to its genetic improvement. Also, biotechnological investments remain limited and the genome is complex and not well understood. Strategies that allow identification of genotypes with reduced ODAP content, coupling of low ODAP content with enhanced yield, and effective seed detoxification methods merit immediate attention. Breeder-friendly genomic tools are being increasingly made available to improve the efficiency of breeding protocols. To this end, the application of next-generation sequencing has provided a means of leveraging the repertoire of genomic resources for this somewhat neglected crop. In this review, we describe progress achieved in Lathyrus genetic improvement. We also explore potential opportunities in Lathyrus research and identify urgent research needs.

Untargeted secondary metabolite profiling and putative pathway deduction of a marine Ochrophyte-Iyengaria stellata(Børgesen)using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry

This study divulges biochemical traits,mineral makeup,and the secondary metabolite outline of the less explored Ochrophyte,Iyengaria stellata(Børgesen)using untargeted metabolite profiling along the Pingleshwar coast,Kachchh,*** mineral Na(4921.33±0.577 mg/100 g Dry Weight)and micro mineral Fe(859.76±0.98 mg/100 g DW)were found to be in the highest quantities.A total of 108 putative metabolites were detected using both,the positive electrospray ionization mode(+ESI)and negative electrospray ionization mode(-ESI of the Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry-Time of Flight(LCMS-TOF).The identified metabolites included steroids,terpenoids,ketones,esters,polyphenols,anthraquinones,tocopherol,*** metabolomics data obtained from the+ESI mode led to the inference of a putative glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway that shall provide valuable insights for future metabolic engineering *** study highlights the first attempt to decipher the secondary metabolite composition of *** thereby further accounting for its potential as a natural source in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical compositions.

Single Molecule Analysis of the Arabidopsis FRA1 Kinesin Shows that It Is a Functional Motor Protein with Unusually High Processivity

The Arabidopsis FRA1 kinesin contributes to the organization of cellulose microfibrils through an unknown mechanism. The cortical localization of this kinesin during interphase raises the possibility that it transports cell wallrelated cargoes along cortical microtubules that either directly or indirectly influence cellulose microfibril patterning. To determine whether FRA1 is an authentic motor protein, we combined bulk biochemical assays and single molecule fluorescence imaging to analyze the motor properties of recombinant, GFP-tagged FRA1 containing the motor and coiled-coil domains （designated as FRAI（707）-GFP）. We found that FRAI（707）-GFP binds to microtubules in an ATP-dependent manner and that its ATPase activity is dramatically stimulated by the presence of microtubules. Using single molecule studies, we found that FRAI（707）-GFP moves processively along microtubule tracks at a velocity of about 0.4 μm s-1. In addition, we found that FRAI（707）-GFP is a microtubule plus-end-directed motor and that it moves along microtubules as a dimer. Interestingly, our single molecule analysis shows that the processivity of FRAI（707）-GFP is at least twice the processivity of conventional kinesin, making FRA1 the most processive kinesin to date. Together, our data show that FRA1 is a bona fide motor protein that has the potential to drive Iong-distance transport of cargo along cortical microtubules.

Partial genomic organization of ribosomal protein S7 gene from malaria vector Anopheles stephensi

In this study, we describe the partial genomic organization of ribosomal protein S7 gene isolated from the mosquito Anopheles stephensi. Initially a 558 bp partial cDNA sequence was amplified as precursor mRNA sequence containing 223 bp long intron. 5＇ and 3＇ end sequences were recovered using end specific rapid amplification of cDNA ends （RACE） polymerase chain reaction. The full-length cDNA sequence was 914 nucleotide long with an open reading frame capable of encoding 192 amino acid long protein with calculated molecular mass of 22174 Da and a pI point of 9.94. Protein homology search revealed 〉75% identity to other insect＇s S7 ribosomal proteins. Analysis of sequence alignment revealed several highly conserved domains, one of which is related to nuclear localization signal （NLS） region of human rpS7. Interestingly, intron nucleotide sequence comparison with A. gambiae showed a lesser degree of conservation as compared to coding and untranslated regions. Like this, early studies on the genomic organization and cDNA/ Expressed sequence tag analysis （EST） could help in genome annotation ofA. stephensi, and would be likely to be sequenced in the future.

Bi3+assisted luminescence in SrMoO_(4):Sm^(3+) red phosphors

In this paper,we report synthesis of pure SrMoO_(4),Sm^(3+)(1 at%-5 at%)doped SrMoO_(4)and Bi^(3+)(1 at%-3 at%)co-doped in 4 at%Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)(SrMoO_(4):4 Sm^(3+))phosphors by solution combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis reveals the tetragonal phase of all samples,also Bi^(3+)co-doping supports crystallite size growth and reduces lattice *** analysis of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)ascertains a decrease in band gap and Bi^(3+)co-doping confirms the emergence of an absorbance peak at around 308 nm attributed to Bi^(3+)energy ***(PL)analysis ascertains an increase in emission peaks for Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4)up to 4%concentration,which are attributed to an electron transition from 4 G5/2 to 6 HJ(J=5/2,7/2,9/2,and 11/2)energy levels of Sm^(3+)*** have explained the effects of Bi^(3+)co-doping on the luminescence of Sm^(3+)doped SrMoO_(4).The reduced microstrain and increased crystallinity of the phosphors as a result of Bi^(3+)co-doping and their correlation with the luminescence of Sm^(3+)ions are discussed.

Opportunistic Networks(OppNets)is gaining popularity day-by-day due to their various applications in the real-life *** two major reasons for its popularity are its suitability to be established without any requirement of additional infrastructure and the ability to tolerate long delays during data *** Network is also considered as a descendant of Mobile Ad hoc Networks(Manets)and Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs),therefore,it inherits most of the traits from both mentioned networking *** from its popularity,Opportunistic Networks are also starting to face challenges nowadays to comply with the emerging issues of the large size of data to be communicated and blind forwarding of data among participating nodes in the *** issues lower the overall performance of the *** this thing in mind,ML-Fresh-a novel framework has been proposed in this paper which focuses to overcome the issue of blind forwarding of data by maintaining an optimum path between any pair of participating nodes available in the OppNet using machine learning techniques *** prediction,decision tree prediction,adamic-adar method for complex *** from this,ML-Fresh also uses the history of successful encounters between a pair of communicating nodes for route prediction in the *** results prove that the ML-Fresh outperforms the existing framework of Opportunistic Networks on the grounds of standard Quality-of-Service(QoS)parameters.
