Crop wild relatives(CWRs)deliver untapped genetic diversity,as they contain valuable breeding traits absent in the cultivated pool,e.g.,traits imparting climate *** genetic material from CWRs to breeding programs can advance effective traits and broaden the genetic base of cultivated crops(Bohra et al.,2022).The availability of genetic diversity in crop breeding programs is important for accelerating crop production while safeguarding food safety and agricultural *** domestication and artificial selection have paved the way for crop cultivars tailored to evolving human requirements and modern cultivation ***,domestication and breeding have significantly reduced genetic diversity in modern crops(Khan et al.,2020;Bohra et al.,2022).Owing to the extensive genetic and phenotypic variability,CWRs serve as valuable genetic reservoirs for crop improvement(Bohra et al.,2022;Li et al.,2023).The use of CWRs in breeding programs is not that straightforward,as linkage drags often remain difficult to overcome.

The Rajahmundry Trap Basalts （RTB） are erupted through fault-controlled fissures in the Krishna-Godavari Basin （K-G Basin） of Godavari Triple Junction, occurring as a unique outcrop sandwiched between Cretaceous and Tertiary sediments along the east coast of India. Detailed geochemical studies have revealed that RTB are mid-Ti （1.74-1.92） to high-Ti （2.04-2.81） basalts with a distinct quartz tholeiitic parentage. MgO （6.2-13.12 wt.%）, Mg# （29-50） and Zr （109-202 ppm） suggest that these basalts evolved by fractional crystallization during the ascent of the parent magma along deep-seated fractures. Mod- erate to high fractionation of HREE, as indicated by （Gd/Yb）N ratios （1.71-2.31） of RTB, suggest their generation through 3-5% melting of a Fe-rich mantle corresponding to the stability fields of spinel and garnet peridotite at depths of 60-100 km. Low K2O/P2O5 （0.26-1.26）, high TiO2/P2O5 （6.74-16.79）, La/Nb （0.89-1.45）, Nb/Th 〉 8 （8.35-13）, negative anomalies at Rb reflect minimum contamination by granitic continental crust. （Nb/La）PM ratios （0.66-1.1） of RTB are attributed to endogenic contamination resulted through recycling of subducted oceanic slab into the mantle. Pronounced Ba enrichment with relative depletion in Rb indicates assimilation of Infra- and Inter-trappean sediments of estuarine to shallow marine character. Geochemical compositions such as A1203/TiO2 （3.88-6.83）, medium to high TiO2 （1.74 -2.81 wt.%）, positive Nb anomalies and LREE enrichment of these RTB attest to their mantle plume origin and indicate the generation of parent magma from a plume-related enriched mantle source with EM 1 signature. Ba/Th （46-247）, Ba/La （3.96-28.51） and Th/Nb （0.08-0.13） ratios suggest that the source enrichment process was marked by recycling of subduction-processed oceanic crust and lithospheric components into the mantle. Zr/Hf （37-41） and Zr/Ba （0.51-3.24） indicate involvement of an asthenospheric mantle source. The Rajahmundry basalts show affinity towards FOZO （

Determination of ergocalciferol in human plasma after Diels-Alder derivatization by LC-MS/MS and its application to a bioequivalence study

An accurate, sensitive and selective method is developed for determination of ergoealeiferol （vitamin D2） in human plasma using LC-MS/MS. After liquid-liquid extraction with n-hexane, ergoealeiferol was derivatized by reacting with 4-phenyl-l,2,4-triazoline-3,5-dione （PTAD）, a strong dienophile based on Diels-Alder reaction. Ergocalciferol and its deuterated internal standard, ergocalciferol-d6, were analyzed on X Select CSH Cls （100 mmx4.6 mm, 2.5 lam） column using acetonitrile and 0.1% （v/v） formic acid in water containing 0.14% methylamine within 6.0 min under gradient elution mode. Tandem mass spectrometry in positive ionization mode was used to quantify ergocalciferol by multiple reaction monitoring （MRM）. Entire data processing was done using Watson LIMSTM software which provided excellent data integrity and high throughput with improved operational efficiency. The major advantage of this method includes higher sensitivity （0.10 ng/mL）, superior extraction efficiency （〉83%） and small sample volume （100 ~tL） for processing. The method was linear in the concentration range of 0.10-100 ng/mL for ergoealciferol. The intra-batch and inter-batch accuracy and precision （% CV） values varied from 97.3% to 109.0% and 1.01% to 5.16%, respectively. The method was successfully applied to support a bioequivalence study of 1.25 mg ergoealciferol capsules in 12 healthy subjects.

Transfer printing of high mobility inorganic nanostructures,using an elastomeric transfer stamp,is a potential route for highperformance printed *** this method to transfer nanostructures with high yield,uniformity and excellent registration over large area remain a ***,we present the‘direct roll transfer’as a single-step process,i.e.,without using any elastomeric stamp,to print nanoribbons(NRs)on different substrates with excellent registration(retaining spacing,orientation,etc.)and transfer yield(∼95%).The silicon NR based field-effect transistors printed using direct roll transfer consistently show high performance i.e.,high on-state current(Ion)>1 mA,high mobility(μ_(eff))>600 cm^(2)/Vs,high on/off ratio(I_(on)/_(off))of around 10^(6),and low hysteresis(<0.4 V).The developed versatile and transformative method can also print nanostructures based on other materials such as GaAs and thus could pave the way for direct printing of high-performance electronics on large-area flexible substrates.

A rapid and simple high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC） mcthod wiih a UV detection （241 nm） was developed and validated for estimation of eplerenone from spiked human plasma. The analyte and the internal standard （valdecoxib） were extracted with a mixture of dichloromethane and diethyl ether. The chromatographic separation was performed on a HiQSil C-18HS column （250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 um） with a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile：water （50：50, v/v） at flow rate of 1 mL/min. The calibration curve was linear in the range 100 3200 ng/mL and the heteroscedasticity was minimized by using weighted least squares regression with weighting factor I/X.

Recent reports from World Health Organization(WHO)show the impact of human negligence as a serious concern for road accidents and casualties *** are number of reasons which led to this negligence;hence,need of intelligent transportation system(ITS)gains more attention from researchers *** achieving such autonomy different sensors are involved in autonomous vehicles which can sense road conditions and warn the control system about possible *** work is focused on designing one such sensor system which can detect and range multiple targets under the impact of adverse atmospheric conditions.A high-speed Linear Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave(LFMCW)based Photonic Radar is proposed to detect multiple targets by integrating Mode division multiplexing(MDM).Reported results in terms of range frequency,Doppler frequency and range resolution are demonstrated using numerical simulations with the bandwidths of 1 and 4 GHz and under adverse atmospheric conditions carrying 75 dB/km of *** prove the effectiveness of the proposed photonic radar,moving targets are also demonstrated with different *** reported substantial range resolution of 15 cm using 1 GHz of bandwidth and 3 cm using 4 GHz of bandwidth.

Post-stroke epilepsy is a common complication of ischemic stroke which adversely affects the prognosis of *** and radiological parameters cannot adequately predict the ***,the discovery of biomarkers is imperatively needed for predicting post-stroke *** conducted a systematic review of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for post-stroke epilepsy through a comprehensive literature search in different *** articles that met our inclusion criteria were assessed for quality using the modified Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies *** eligible studies were included in this systematic *** of 22 assessed biomarkers,nine biomarkers showed significant association with post-stroke *** T allele of CD40(cluster of differentiation 40)−1C/T polymorphism,the CC genotype of TRPM6(transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 6)rs2274924,the allele polymorphism of MAD2(mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase 2),the mRNA level of interleukin-6(IL-6),the plasma level of endostatin,and the mRNA expression of IL-1βshow a positive correlation with post-stroke epilepsy;while S100 calcium-binding protein B,heat shock 70 kDa protein-8 and neuropeptide Y are inversely associated with post-stroke *** a small number of patients were recruited,further studies are needed to confirm their potential use for predicting post-stroke epilepsy.

The aim of the present study was to determine changes in blood electrolytes(calcium and phosphate)in the freshwater catfish Heteropneustes fossilis following short-and long-term exposure to latex of Euphorbia *** investigate the effects of short-term exposure,fish were exposed to 80%of the 96-h LC_(50) of *** latex(2.47 mg/L)for 96 *** assess the effects of long-term exposure,fish were exposed to 20%of the 96-h LC_(50) of *** latex(0.618 mg/L)for 28 *** were killed after 24,48,72 and 96 h(short-term experiments)or after 7,14,21 and 28 days(long-term experiments).Blood samples were collected and sera were analyzed to determine calcium and inorganic phosphate *** calcium levels decreased progressively in *** after 48 h exposure to *** *** decrease persisted until the end of the experiment(96 h).Serum inorganic phosphate levels in treated fish decreased progressively from 72 *** 7 days exposure to *** latex,decreased serum calcium levels were noted in *** that persisted until the end of the *** phosphate levels were decreased in *** on days 21 and 28 of exposure to *** *** is concluded that *** latex alters the blood electrolyte content of the *** change in these electrolytes,particularly calcium levels,may cause disturbances in the normal vital physiological functions of the fish,its growth rate,and even its ability to survive in nature.

A significant increase in the number of coronavirus cases can easily be noticed in most of the countries around the *** of the consistent preventive initiatives being taken to contain the spread of this virus,the unabated increase in the cases is both alarming and *** role of mathematical models in predicting and estimating the spread of the virus,and identifying various preventive factors dependencies has been found important and effective in most of the previous pandemics like Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome(SARS)*** this research work,authors have proposed the Susceptible-Infectected-Removed(SIR)model variation in order to forecast the pattern of coronavirus disease(COVID-19)spread for the upcoming eight weeks in perspective of Saudi *** study has been performed by using SIR model with a proposed simplification using average progression for further estimation ofβandγvalues for better curve fittings *** predictive results of this study clearly show that under the current public health interventions,there will be an increase in the COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia in the next four ***,a set of strong health primitives and precautionary measures are recommended in order to avoid and prevent the further spread of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia.
