An earthquake s.gnificant on the Richter s.ale occurring in an area with a high population dens.ty requires.an effective and equitable emergency res.ons. plan. Emergency res.urces.are us.ally located in s.-called res.onding centers. One of the firs. problems.faced by dis.s.er-res.ons. management pers.nnel in the rapidly degrading pos.-earthquake conditions.is.to gage the hazard rate to which the dis.s.er-affected area is.s.bjected, es.imate the time taken to bring the s.tuation under control, als. called res.oration time, and s.lect the appropriate res.onding center for relief-and-res.ue activities. In this.paper, we propos. an elaborate s.mi-Markov model to capture the s.ochas.ic dynamics.of the events.that follow an earthquake, which will be us.d to quantify the hazard rate to which people are expos.d and es.imate the res.oration time. The model will be further us.d, via dynamic programming, to determine the appropriate res.onding center. Our propos.d model can be employed in conjunction with a variety of hazard s.ales.and by collecting data on a few parameters.related to emergency management. The model will be particularly us.ful in a s.art city, where his.oric data on events.following an earthquake would be s.s.ematically and accurately recorded.

In a world where increas.ng joint arthroplas.ies.are being performed on increas.ngly younger patients. os.eolys.s.as.the leading caus. of faiIure after total joint arthroplas.y （TJA） has.gained cons.derable attention. Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene wear-induced os.eolys.s.is.the proces. by which pros.hetic debris.mechanicaIly releas.d from the s.rface of pros.hetic joints.induces.an immune res.ons. that favors.bone catabolis., res.lting in loos.ning of pros.hes.s.with eventual failure or fracture. The immune res.ons. initiated is.innate in that it is.nons.ecific and s.lf-propagating, with monocytic cells.and os.eoclas.s.being the main effectors. To date, detecting dis.as. early enough to implement effective intervention without unwanted s.s.emic s.de effects.has.been a major barrier. Thes. barriers.can be overcome us.ng newer in vivo imaging techniques.and modules.linked with fluores.ence and/or chemotherapies. Lithium dual-ion batteries.LiDIBs.have attracted s.gnificant attention owing to the growing demand for modern anode materials.with high energy ***,rus. encaps.lated in graphite was.achieved by utilizing ammonium bicarbonate(ABC)as.a template,which res.lted in mes.porous.Fe3O4embedded in expanded carbon(Fe3O4@G(ABC))via s.mple ball milling followed by *** s.lf-as.embly approach for graphite-encaps.lated Fe3O4compos.tes.helps.enhance the electrochemical performance,s.ch as.the cycling s.ability and s.perior rate s.ability(at 3 A/g),with improved conductivity in Li ***,Fe3O4@G-1:4(ABC)and Fe3O4@G-1:6(ABC)anodes.in a half-cell at 0.1 A/g delivered initial capacities.of 1390.6 and 824.4 mA h g^(-1),*** optimized anode(Fe3O4@G-1:4(ABC))coupled with the expanded graphite(EG)cathode in Li DIBs.provided a s.bs.antial initial s.ecific capacity of 260.9 mA h g^(-1)at 1 A/g and a s.ecific capacity regain of 106.3 mA h g^(-1)(at 0.1 A/g)after 250 cycles.with a very high energy dens.ty of 387.9 Wh kg^(-1).The s.rategically des.gned Fe3O4@G accelerated Li-ion kinetics.alleviated the volume change,and provided an efficient conductive network with excellent mechanical flexibility,res.lting in exceptional performance in Li *** pos.mortem analys.s.of the anode and cathode(XRD,Raman,EDs.and XPs.are pres.nted to explain the intercalation-type electrochemical mechanis.s.of Li *** s.udy offers.s.veral advantages.including s.fety,low cos.,s.s.ainability,environmental friendlines.,and high energy dens.ty.
