Recently,the coronavirus disease 2019 has shown excellent attention in the global community regarding health and the *** Health Organization(WHO)and many others advised controlling Corona Virus Disease in *** limited treatment resources,medical resources,and unawareness of immunity is an essential horizon to *** all resources,wearing a mask is the primary non-pharmaceutical intervention to stop the spreading of the virus caused by severe Acute Respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2(sARs-CoV-2)*** countries made masks mandatory to prevent *** such enforcement,automatic and effective face detection systems are *** study presents a face mask identification approach for static photos and real-time movies that distinguishes between images with and without *** contribute to society,we worked on mask detection of an individual to adhere to the rule and provide awareness to the public or *** paper aims to get detection accuracy using transfer learning from Residual Neural Network 50(ResNet-50)architecture and works on detection *** experiment is tested with other popular pre-trained models such as Deep Convolutional Neural Networks(AlexNet),Residual Neural Networks(ResNet),and Visual Geometry Group Networks(VGG-Net)advanced *** proposed system generates an accuracy of 98.4%when modeled using Residual Neural Network 50(ResNet-50).Also,the precision and recall values are proved as better when compared to the existing *** outstanding work also can be used in video surveillance applications.

Detection of a temporal salient object benefits from visual stimulus-specific adaptation in avian midbrain inhibitory nucleus

Food and predators are the most noteworthy objects for the basic survival of wild animals,and both are often deviant in both spatial and temporal domains and quickly attract an animal’s *** stimulus-specific adaptation(ssA)is considered a potential neural basis of salient sound detection in the temporal domain,related research on visual ssA is limited and its relationship with temporal saliency is *** avian nucleus isthmi pars magnocellularis(Imc),which is central to midbrain selective attention network,is an ideal site to investigate the neural correlate of visual ssA and detection of a salient object in the time ***,the constant order paradigm was applied to explore the visual ssA in the Imc of *** results showed that the firing rates of Imc neurons gradually decrease with repetitions of motion in the same direction,but recover when a motion in a deviant direction is presented,implying visual ssA to the direction of a moving ***,enhanced response for an object moving in other directions that were not presented ever in the paradigm is also *** verify the neural mechanism underlying these phenomena,we introduced a neural computation model involving a recoverable synaptic change with a“center-surround”pattern to reproduce the visual ssA and temporal saliency for the moving *** results suggest that the Imc produces visual ssA to motion direction,allowing temporal salient object detection,which may facilitate the detection of the sudden appearance of a predator.

Physiological Mechanism of Exogenous selenium in Alleviating Mercury stress on Pakchoi(Brassica campestris L.)

The objective of this study was to explain the physiological mechanisms through which Na_(2)seO_(3) mitigates the growth and developmental inhibition of pakchoi under HgCl_(2)*** results showed that treatment with HgCl_(2)(40 mg L^(−1))led to reduced biomass,dwarfing,root shortening,and root tip necrosis in *** to control(CK),the activities of superoxide dismutase(sOD)and peroxidase(POD)in Hg treatment increased,and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)also dramatically increased,which negatively impacted the growth of *** concentrations of Na_(2)seO_(3)(0.2 mg L^(−1))significantly increased the content of soluble sugars compared with control,while chlorophyll,soluble proteins,free amino acids,and vitamin C had no significant *** results of the mixed treatments with HgCl_(2)and Na_(2)seO_(3) suggested that selenium may be able to reduce the toxicity of mercury in *** biomass,plant height,root length,chlorophyll content,soluble protein,other physiological indicators,and proline showed significant increases compared with the HgCl_(2)***,the MDA content and mercury accumulation in pakchoi *** results revealed the antagonistic effects of selenium and mercury in ***,a theoretical basis for studying pakchoi’s mercuryexcreted and selenium-rich cultivation technology was provided.

Broadband electromagnetic(EM)wave absorption materials play an important role in military stealth and health ***,metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)-derived magnetic-carbon CoNiM@C(M=Cu,Zn,Fe,Mn)microspheres are fabricated,which exhibit flower-like nano–microstructure with tunable EM response *** on the MOFs-derived CoNi@C microsphere,the adjacent third element is introduced into magnetic CoNi alloy to enhance EM wave absorption *** term of broadband absorption,the order of efficient absorption bandwidth(EAB)value is Mn>Fe=Zn>Cu in the CoNiM@C ***,MOFs-derived flower-like CoNiMn@C microspheres hold outstanding broadband absorption and the EAB can reach up to 5.8 GHz(covering 12.2–18 GHz at 2.0 mm thickness).Besides,off-axis electron holography and computational simulations are applied to elucidate the inherent dielectric dissipation and magnetic *** heterointerfaces in CoNiMn@C promote the aggregation of the negative/positive charges at the contacting region,forming interfacial *** graphitized carbon layer catalyzed by the magnetic CoNiMn core offered the electron mobility path,boosting the conductive *** importantly,magnetic coupling is observed in the CoNiMn@C to strengthen the magnetic responding *** study provides a new guide to build broadband EM absorption by regulating the ternary magnetic alloy.

This report describes a novel technique for improving depressed scars using negative pressure suction-assisted autologous fat grafting.A 35-year-old woman presented with a 20-year history of bilateral central buttock con-cavities,causing aesthetic *** maximize fat graft survival and enhance tissue volume,we implemented intermittent negative pressure suction on the recipient area for one month *** patient expressed satisfaction with the cosmetic outcome,and a three-month follow-up confirmed a significantly improved fat graft survival *** minimally invasive,cost-effective,and easily reproducible technique offers a promising clinical strategy for treating depressed scars.

Association between serum Ferritin Levels and Metabolic-associated Fatty Liver Disease in Adults:a Cross-sectional study Based on the NHANEs

Objective Ferritin,initially acting as an iron-storage protein,was found to be associated with metabolic *** study was designed to investigate the association between serum ferritin and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination survey(NHANEs)of the United state of *** A cross-sectional study was conducted,enrolling a total of 2145 participants from the NHANEs in the 2017–2018 *** steatosis and liver fibrosis were assessed by ultrasound images and several non-invasive *** regression analysis was conducted to determine the associations between serum ferritin concentration and MAFLD and liver *** The analysis revealed that participants with higher serum ferritin levels(Q3 and Q4 groups)had a higher prevalence of MAFLD than those with the lowest serum ferritin levels[Q3 vs.Q1:OR=2.17(1.33,3.53),Ps.Q1:OR=3.13(1.91,5.13),Ps with the highest serum ferritin levels(Q4 group)displayed a higher prevalence of liver fibrosis[Q4 vs.Q1:OR=2.59(1.19,5.62),Pstiffness measurement;OR=5.06(1.12,22.94),Psis-4 index],with significantly increased risk observed in participants with concomitant diabetes[OR=7.45(1.55,35.72),P=0.012].Conclusion Our study revealed that elevated serum ferritin levels are associated with a higher prevalence of MAFLD and advanced liver fibrosis in *** serum ferritin levels combined with diabetes are important risk factors for liver fibrosis.

We aim to evaluate the incidence of incontinence following laser endoscopic enucleation of the prostate(EEP)comparing en-bloc(Group 1)versus 2-lobe/3-lobe techniques(Group 2).We performed a retrospective review of patients undergoing EEP for benign prostaticenlargement in 12 centers between January 2020 and January *** were presented as median and interquartile range(IQR).Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate factors associated with stress urinary incontinence(sUI)and mixed urinary incontinence(MUI).There were 1711 patients in Group 1 and 3357 patients in Group *** in Group 2were significantly younger(68[62–73]years vs 69[63–74]years,P=0.002).Median(interquartile range)prostate volume(PV)wassimilar between the groups(70[52–92]ml in Group 1 vs 70[54–90]ml in Group 2,P=0.774).There was no difference in preoperativeInternational Prostate symptom score,quality of life,or maximum flow ***,morcellation,and total surgical time weresignificantly shorter in Group *** 1 month,overall incontinence rate was 6.3%in Group 1 versus 5.3%in Group 2(P=0.12),and urge incontinence was significantly higher in Group 1(55.1%vs 37.3%in Group 2,Ps,the overall rate ofincontinence was 1.7%in Group 1 versus 2.3%in Group 2(P=0.06),and sUI was significantly higher in Group 2(55.6%vs 24.1%in Group 1,P=0.002).At multivariable analysis,PV and IPss were factors significantly associated with higher odds of transient sUI/***,surgical time,and no early apical release technique were factors associated with higher odds of persistent sUI/MUI.

Injury Mortality of Children and Adolescents Aged 0–19 Years—China,2010–2021

Introduction:To examine the recent trends in child injury mortality in ***:Injury mortality data of 2010–2021 for children and adolescents aged 0–19 years were from the China Health statistics *** mortality disparities across urban *** locations,gender,and age groups were *** percent change(APC),average annual percent change(AAPC),and their 95%confidence intervals(95%CI)were estiamted usimg Joinpoint regression ***:The age-standardized injury mortality significantly dropped from 21.87 to 9.41 per 100,000 population among children and youth aged 0–19 years during 2010–2021,with an AAPC of−6.7%(95%CI:−8.2%,−5.2%).The urban-rural disparity and gender gap in injury mortality reduced *** 2021,drowning and road traffic crashes were the top two causes of child injury deaths,explaing 31.1%and 27.9%of total injury deaths,*** accounted for 62.3%of injury deaths among infants younger than a ***,the suicide mortality rate rose from 2.16 to 3.42 per 100,000 population between 2010 and 2021 among teenagers aged 15–19 *** analyses yielded similar ***:During 2010–2021,the injury mortality decreased significantly among Chinese children and adolescents,and the responding urbanrural disparities narrowed.
