Regenerative medicine is the field concerned with the repair and restoration of the integrity of damaged human tissues as well as whole *** the inception of the field several decades ago,regenerative medicine therapies,namely stem cells,have received significant attention in preclinical studies and clinical *** from their known potential for differentiation into the various body cells,stem cells enhance the organ's intrinsic regenerative capacity by altering its environment,whether by exogenous injection or introducing their products that modulate endogenous stem cell function and fate for the sake of ***,research in cardiology has highlighted the evidence for the existence of cardiac stem and progenitor cells(CSCs/CPCs).The global burden of cardiovascular diseases’morbidity and mortality has demanded an in-depth understanding of the biology of CSCs/CPCs aiming at improving the outcome for an innovative therapeutic *** review will discuss the nature of each of the CSCs/CPCs,their environment,their interplay with other cells,and their *** addition,important issues are tackled concerning the potency of CSCs/CPCs in relation to their secretome for mediating the ability to influence other ***,the review will throw the light on the clinical trials and the preclinical studies using CSCs/CPCs and combined therapy for cardiac ***,the novel role of nanotechnology in cardiac regeneration will be explored.

Objective: To evaluate the hypocholesterolemic and hypotriglyceridemic activities of four Marrbium vulgare(M. vulgare) herb extracts using Triton WR-1339-induced hyperlipidemia in mice. Methods: Hyperlipidemia was developed by intraperitoneal injection of Triton(200 mg/kg body weight). The animals were divided into main four groups of eight mice each: normal control group, hyperlipidemic control group, hyperlipidemic plus tween-40 control and treated group. The fourth one was divided into four subgroups, petroleum ether extract group, chloroform extract group, ethyl acetate extract group and methanol extract treated group each of them contains two sub-sub group for treating animals with two doses at 0.1 and 0.25 Ld50. Results: After 7 h and 24 h of treatment, the intragastric administration of all extracts caused a significant decrease of plasma total cholesterol. Triglyceride levels were also significantly lowered by all extracts while petroleum ether produced the lowest decreasing level. Similar results were observed for LdL-cholesterol concentrations. Furthermore, more polar extracts(methanol and ethyl acetate)-soluble fractions showed a significant ameliorative action on elevated atherogenic index(AI) and LdL/HdL-C ratios, while these atherogenic markers were not statistically suppressed by the chloroform and petroleum ether-soluble extract. Conclusion: The findings indicated that Marrubium may contain polar products able to lower plasma lipid concentrations and might be beneficial in treatment of hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis.

Objective:To study the antioxidant properties of crude extract of different Asteraceae ***:The antioxidant properties of six extracts were evaluated using different antioxidant tests,including free radical scavenging,reducing power,metal chelation,superoxide anion radical scavenging,total antioxidant capacity and inhibition of lipid peroxidation ***:Picris cyanocarpa(***)and Anthemis deserti(***)had powerful antioxidant properties as radical scavenger,reducing agent and superoxide anion radical scavenger while Achillia fragrantissima(***)and Artemissia monosperma(***)were the most efficient as ion chelator(100%at 100,200 and 400μg/mL)*** and Rhanlarium appoposum(***.)showed 100%inhibition on peroxidation of linoleic acid emulsion at 200 and 400μg/mL,while butylatedhydroxy toluene and ascorinc acid showed 100and 95%inhibition percentage at 400μg/mL,*** various antioxidant activities were compared to standard antioxidants such as butylated hydroxyl toluene and ascorbic ***:In most tests *** and *** had powerful antioxidant properties as radical scavenger,reducing agent and superoxide anion radical scavenger.

The ion-acoustic solitary wave in collisionless unmagnetized plasma consisting of warm ions-fluid and isothermal electrons is studied using the time fractional KdV equation. The reductive perturbation method has been employed to derive the Korteweg-de Vries equation for small but finite amplitude ion-acoustic wave in warm plasma. The Lagrangian of the time fractional KdV equation is used in a similar form to the Lagrangian of the regular KdV equation with fractional derivative for the time differentiation. The variation of the functional of this Lagrangian leads to the Euler-Lagrange equation that gives the time fractional KdV equation. The variational-iteration method is used to solve the derived time fractional KdV equation. The calculations of the solution are carried out for different values of the time fractional order. These calculations show that the time fractional can be used to modulate the electrostatic potential wave instead of adding a higher order dissipation term to the KdV equation. The results of the present investigation may be applicable to some plasma environments, such as the ionosphere plasma.

Effect of single subconjunctival injection of bevacizumab on primary pterygium:clinical,histopathological and immunohistochemical study

AIM：To evaluate the effect（clinically,histopathologically and immunohistochemically） and safety of a single intrapterygium injection of ***：Prospective interventional study comprised 40 eyes of 40 patients with primary fleshy pterygia who attended the Outpatient Clinic of department of Ophthalmology,Assiut University Hospitals,Egypt from May 2015 to May *** were randomly classified into 2 groups：the first group received a single intralesional injection of bevacizumab（Avastin;Genentech,San Francisco,CA,USA）;the second group comprised patients who did not receive subconjunctival *** of pterygium and conjunctival auto graft was done in both *** excised pterygium tissues were subjected to histopathological and immunohistochemical ***：The study comprised 40 eyes of 40 patients（33 men,7 women） of age range from 31-58 *** study group included 22 *** control group included 18 eyes.A decrease in the vascularity of the pterygium was noted in all injected *** mean vessel count was higher in non-injected pterygia than that in injected pterygia and the difference was statistically significant（P=0.001）.Also,the mean vessel count in both groups was significantly higher than normal conjunctive（P=0.005 and 0.001）.A statistically significant difference in vascular endothelial growth factor（VEGF） expression between injected and non-injected cases was detected in the epithelial,stromal and endothelial cells（P=0.0001,0.016,0.014）.No serious intraoperative complications occurred in both ***：The use of single intra lesional injection of Avastin in pterygium decreased vascularity and decreased VEGF expression in injected pterygium after one *** study proved the effect of single intra lesional injection of Avastin on *** studies may enable limiting the need for surgery and improve quality of life for patients with pterygia.
