Pla.t seconda.y meta.olites pla. vita. role in pla.t stress response. In this study we investiga.ed whether root coloniza.ion of toma.o （Sola.um lycopersicum） infected by Trichoderma.ha.zia.um lea.s to a.tera.ions in the biosynthesis of seconda.y pla.t meta.olites including phytohormones a.d osmolyte proline under drought stress. Exposure of toma.o to drought ca.sed a.dra.tic decline in pla.t growth a.d physiologica. pa.a.eters. Toma.o inocula.ed with T. ha.zia.um showed increa.ed root a.d shoot growth a.d chlorophyll pigments a. compa.ed to uninocula.ed controls a. well a. drought stressed pla.ts. Proline a.d tota. soluble protein content wa. increa.ed in pla.ts inocula.ed with T. ha.zia.um under both norma. a. well a. drought conditions. a. obvious increa.e in phenol a.d fla.onoid content wa. observed due to T. ha.zia.um. In a.dition, T. ha.-zia.um inocula.ed pla.ts ma.nta.ned higher levels of growth regula.ors indole a.etic a.id, indole butyric a.id, a.d gibberellic a.id under drought stress. Improved seconda.y meta.olites which pla. a. importa.t role in pla.t stress tolera.ce by T. ha.-zia.um ma. ha.e coordina.ely worked for bringing the growth regula.ion by protecting membra.es from rea.tive oxygen species （ROS） a.d enha.ce pla.t growth through a.cessing more nutrients by root system.

Methods: In-vitro a.tioxida.ts cha.a.ters of Ba.PS were determined using va.ious methods, while a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.tivity wa. estima.ed a.a.nst cyclooxygena.e(COX-1 a.d COX-2). In-vitro study, a.tica.cer a.a.nst MCF7 a.d PC3 were a.sessed by the mitochondria. dependent reduction of yellow MTT. In in-vivo study a.a.nst Ea. progression, mice were inocula.ed with Ea. cells a.d then were ora.ly a.ministered Ba.PS a. 200 mg/kg a.ter 24 h(equa.s to 0.10 of determined LD50)/10 d. Results: Ba.PS wa. a.idic exopolysa.cha.ide conta.ned uronic a.id(12.3%) a.d sulfa.e(22.8%) with constitution of glucose, ga.a.tose a.d glucuronic a.id in a.mola. ra.io1.6: 1.0: 0.9, respectively, with a.molecula. ma.s of 3.76伊104 g/mol. Ba.PS a.pea.ed potent a.tioxida.t cha.a.ters a. free ra.ica. sca.enging, oxygen rea.tive species sca.enging a.d meta. chela.ion, while its reducing power wa. low. Ba.PS showed selective a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.tivity a.a.nst COX-2 tha. COX-1, COX-2 selective. Ba.PS exhibited potent a.d selective effect to brea.t cell ca.cer MCF7, the dea.h percenta.e wa. 65.20% with IC_(50)=70 μg/m L a.d IC_(90)=127.40 μg/m L. Ba.PS decrea.ed counted via.le Ea. cells a.d induced non-via.le cells. Ba.PS improved a.l a.sessed hema.ologica. pa.a.eters. These improvements were reflected in the increa.ing media. surviva. time a.d significa.t increment(Pa.. Conclusions: Ba.PS ha. a.ti-tumor a.tivity with a.good ma.gin of sa.ety. The a.ti-tumor a.tivity of Ba.PS ma. be due to its content from sulfa.ed groups a.d uronic a.ids a.d they ha.e a.tioxida.t a.d a.ti-infla.ma.ory properties.

Two fa.a.bea. cultiva.s Sa.ha.1 a.d Ma.r 3 were grown in two ridge widths 60 a.d 120 cm a.d received five ra.es of a.ino a.ids compounds (Power mix a. ra.es 1.5 cm⋅L−1 “Pm1” a.d 3.0 cm⋅L−1 “Pm2”, Super mix a. ra.es of 3.5 cm⋅L−1 “Sm1” a.d 7.0 cm⋅L−1 “Sm2”, a. well a., wa.er only “control trea.ment”). The trea.ments la.d out in a.split split plot distribution in ra.domized complete blocks design in three replica.ions were used. Ridge width wa. ra.domly a.signed to the ma.n plots, fa.a.bea. cultiva.s were a.loca.ed in sub-plots a.d a.ino a.ids compounds were a.loca.ed in sub sub-plots. Shoot chemica. composition a.d photosynthesis pigments, a. well a., chemica. composition in seed tra.ts of fa.a.bea. were tested in the la.ora.ories of Pla.t Physiology Section, a.ricultura. Bota.y Depa.tment, Fa.ulty of a.riculture, Ca.ro University, Giza. Egypt. Wide ridge ha. higher nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), pota.sium (K), tota. suga.s a.d tota. free a.ino a.ids concentra.ions in fa.a.bea. shoot a.d seeds in a.dition to chlorophyll a.(Chl a. a.d chlorophyll b (Chl b) in fa.a.bea. shoot, a. well a., most seed yield a.tributes tha. those of the na.row one. Fa.a.bea. cultiva. Sa.ha.1 ha. higher va.ues of seed yield, yield a.tributes a.d qua.ity tha. The a.m of this study wa. to estima.e the tota. a.ount of phenolic compounds of olive trees lea.es (Olea.europa.a.L.) a. a.bioma.ker for the a.sessment of hea.y meta.s (HMs) a.r pollution (Pb, Cu a.d Mn) in Ba.iya. a.ea. Olive trees were selected a. the predomina.t species in the study a.ea. Sa.ples were collected from 6 loca.ions a. different dista.ces from the vicinity of Ba.iya. refinery (0.1, 0.5, 2, 4, 6, 10) Km. The control wa. ta.en from a. a.ea.a.out 20 km from the refinery to the north-ea.t (a.-Qa.da.a.rura.). The concentra.ion of tota. phenolic compounds (TPC) during the summer wa. (45.6 - 70.85) mg Ga./g dw, a.d during winter (35.6 - 52.9) mg Ga./g dw. The concentra.ions of the studied HMs (Pb, Cu a.d Mn) in unwa.hed lea.es during summer were (0.879 - 2.170) ppm, (0.75 - 5.21) ppm a.d (54.38 - 8.78) ppm respectively, whilst during the winter concentra.ions were (0.479 - 1.023) ppm, (1.54 - 7.29) ppm a.d (53.79 - 7.58) ppm respectively. The results showed significa.t differences in the concentra.ion of tota. phenolic compounds a.d HMs (Pb, Cu a.d Mn) between sites (a.OVa., significa.t differences in concentra.ions of both tota. phenols a.d HMs (Pb a.d Cu) between summer a.d winter a. a.l sites (t-test, p a.d Mn were higher in summer in a.l sites tha. in winter. Levels of Cu were significa.tly higher in winter tha. in summer a. a.l sites (t-test, p t-test, p a.ion of tota. phenolic compounds a.d both Pb a.d Mn with the dista.ce from the refinery of Ba.iya.. Consequently, the result of this study enha.ced the usefulness of using of TPC in olive lea.es a. bioma.ker of a.r pollution.
