Web applications have become a widely accepted method to support the internet for the past *** they have been successfully installed in the business activities and there is a requirement of advanced functionalities,the configuration is growing and becoming more *** growing demand and complexity also make these web applications a preferred target for intruders on the *** with the support of security specialists,they remain highly problematic for the complexity of penetration and code reviewing *** requires considering different testing patterns in both codes reviewing and penetration *** a result,the number of hacked websites is increasing day by *** of these vulnerabilities also occur due to incorrect input validation and lack of result validation for lousy programming practices or coding *** scanners for web applications can detect a few vulnerabilities in a dynamic *** are quite easy to use;however,these often miss out on some of the unique critical vulnerabilities in a different and static *** these are time-consuming,they can find complex vulnerabilities and improve developer knowledge in coding and best *** scanners choose both dynamic and static approaches,and the developers can select them based on their requirements and *** research explores and provides details of SQL injection,operating system command injection,path traversal,and cross-site scripting vulnerabilities through dynamic and static *** also examines various security measures in web applications and selected five tools based on their features for scanning PHP,and JAVA code focuses on SQL injection,cross-site scripting,Path Traversal,operating system ***,this research discusses the approach of a cyber-security tester or a security developer finding out vulnerabilities through dynamic and static approaches using manual and automated web vulnerability scanners.

Correlation between Hypertension and SYNTAX Score in Patients with Chest Pain Admitted to Cardiology Department for Coronary Angiography

Background: Hypertension is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events, cardiovascular and all-cause mortality. However, the diagnostic ability of hypertension for the presence and severity of CAD (coronary artery disease) has not been elucidated. This study investigates the relationship between hypertension and CAD complexity using the SYNTAX score to determine hypertension’s roles in coronary heart disease progression. Method: This is a prospective study that includes consecutive 410 adult patients at mean age (61 ± 11 years) who are admitted to Cardiology Department and undergo invasive coronary angiography (CAG) where a significant coronary lesion (SCL) is defined as stenosis ≥50% in vessel diameter ≥ 1.5 mm. The SYNTAX scores were calculated using the SYNTAX score algorithm. Results: The mean rank of SYNTAX score was significantly higher among hypertension than non-hypertension (mean rank: 279, 184, p = 0.006) groups. SYNTAX score was positively correlated with age (r: 0.263, p significantly independent predictor of increase or decrease probability of falling in high syntax score group. Conclusion Hypertension affects the distribution of SYNTAX score among patients with and without hypertension, and the prevalence of significant coronary lesions was more frequent in hypertensive patients. Background: Health information systems (HIS) play a major role in decision-making. The aim is to identify the components of computerized HIS and their relationship to administrative decisions at the main referral hospitals for Sana’a city. Method: This applied research is a descriptive, cross-sectional study in which the HIS of 7 hospitals affiliated with Sana’a city hospitals during “2017-2020”, was evaluated based on Self-administered questionnaires. Data were collected by using Self-administered questionnaires and analyzed in SPSS 16 by using descriptive statistics. Results: A total of 626 users (95.7%) had responded. 73%, 75%, 69%, 70%, 71% of users mentioned that resources were available, for physical, software, human, organizational, and decision computerized HIS, respectively. The study showed a strong relationship between computerized information systems with their physical, software, human and organizational components, and medical and administrative decisions. While the study showed the absence of a relationship between demographic factors and computerized information systems with their hardware, software, human and organizational components, medical and administrative decisions, except for gender with organizational components, age, qualification with hardware and software components, and years of experience with all study variables. Conclusion: The application of HIS at hospitals in decision-making has several challenges, including the lack of updating of hardware and software components Furthermore, the absence of specific, focusing on developing their technical staffs, and mobilizing financial resources to achieve implementation properly. Therefore, establishing the technical management with clear roles and tasks with multi-disciplinary, and increasing the support of the administrative leadership in the process of implementing HIS are recommended.

Use of Topical Complementary and Alternative Medicines (CAM) in Diabetic Septic Foot Disease in Makkah Region, Western of Saudi Arabia, an Exploratory Study

Diabetes is a chronic condition that is significantly impacted daily by environment. At least one in five Saudis, suffer from diabetes. “Diabetes is a pandemic of unprecedented magnitude spiraling out of control” (Boulton). Saudi Arabia ranks the second highest in the Middle East, and is the seventh in the world for the prevalence of diabetes (WHO). Diabetes mellitus (DM) has been found to be related to high mortality, morbidity accompanied by poor general health and lower quality of life. Current Saudi diabetes patients’ behaviors, practices, and beliefs regarding foot health problems such as ulcers, are not well investigated. Diabetic patients frequently utilize natural remedies and Herbs for self-medication as a part of complementary and alternative Medicine. Aim of study: To explore the widespread use of the alternative remedies in the local communities of the Western Saudi Arabia, the drives behind using and to focus on the potential adverse effects following their usage. Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study of 386 diabetic patients with feet problems in Makkah Region, West of Saudi Arabia during the period April - June 2023. Results: Out of the 531 participants, only 386 participants reported diabetic foot disorder (DFD). Most of the participant were above 65 years of age group (24.61 %). Male (52.08%) more than female (47.92%) in the research group. All of the participants had diabetic foot disorders at least once. The prevalence of complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) use among them was 67.88%, as solitary or in combination with hospital medicines. Honey headed the list followed by myrrh and black seeds. Acquaintances advice (59.54%) was the most reason for using the alternative medicine. 60.30% of Diabetic foot patient complained of adverse effects during CAM remedies use.
