Choanal atresia (CA) is a rare occlusion of the posterior choanae. Unilateral cases have been reported more than bilaterally, and it’s more often right-sided in those patients. According to the literature, mixed bony-membranous atresia is the most common type. There is a high incidence of craniofacial and visceral anomalies associated with congenital choanal atresia. Therefore, investigation for associated congenital anomalies is an important step before the surgery. We report 2 cases of incidental finding of unilateral choanal atresia in a 21- and 17-year-old with nasal discharge being the only complaint in the former and nasal obstruction with headache in the latter. The patients were then scheduled for day-surgery as a case of choanal atresia for transnasal, endoscopic repair and posterior septectomy. The patients were discharged home on the same day with the absence of restenosis or other complications.

Analysis of high-resolution 4 km sea surface temperature, Chlorophyll a （Chl a）, and wind datasets provides a detailed description of the spatio-temporal seasonal succession of phytoplankton biomass in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. Based on Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer on-board aqua platform （MO- DIS Aqua） data andsynoptic observations in the Red Sea, Chl a varies from north to south, with the northern part appearing to be oligotrophic. This is likely due to the absence of strong mixing and low nutrient intru- sion in comparison to the southern part during winter. In the Gulf of Aden, the emergence of upwelling cell is clearly evident along the coast of Yemen, and is only distinct from the summer-autumn seasons. Most notable is the pulsating nature of the upwelling, with warm and cold events clearly distinguished with phytoplankton response to this physical forcing also evident. The phytoplankton biomass distribution varies considerably between the two regions of study. In both study areas, water temperature and prevailing winds control nutrient concentrations.

Most research works nowadays deal with real-time Internetof Things (IoT) data. However, with exponential data volume increases,organizations need help storing such humongous amounts of IoT data incloud storage systems. Moreover, such systems create security issues whileefficiently using IoT and Cloud Computing technologies. Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) has the potential to make IoT datamore secure and reliable in various cloud storage services. Cloud-assisted IoTssuffer from two privacy issues: access policies (public) and super polynomialdecryption times (attributed mainly to complex access structures). We havedeveloped a CP-ABE scheme in alignment with a Hidden HierarchyCiphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (HH-CP-ABE) access structure embedded within two policies, i.e., public policy and sensitive *** this proposed scheme, information is only revealed when the user’sinformation is satisfactory to the public policy. Furthermore, the proposedscheme applies to resource-constrained devices already contracted tasks totrusted servers (especially encryption/decryption/searching). Implementingthe method and keywords search resulted in higher access policy privacy andincreased security. The new scheme introduces superior storage in comparisonto existing systems (CP-ABE, H-CP-ABE), while also decreasing storage costsin HH-CP-ABE. Furthermore, a reduction in time for key generation canalso be ***, the scheme proved secure, even in handling IoT datathreats in the Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman (DBDH) case.

Estimation of Some Plant Secondary Products in Urtica dioica L., Viola odorata L. and Melissa officinalis L. Naturally Grown in Hawraman-Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The plant aerial parts of three species, Urtica dioica L., Viola odorata L. and Melissa officinalis L. were collected at randomly-different locations, according to altitudes in May 2010. The aerial parts of Urtica were collected within three replications from different locations： Biare 1,090 masl （meters above sea level）, Tawile 1,450 masl and Awiser 1,680 masl. The aerial parts of Viola and Melissa were collected randomly within three replications at different locations： Biare 1,090 masl, Degashikhan 1,250 masl and Tawile 1,450 masl. The extracts of the aerial parts of these species were purified by filtrations for several times in preparation for HPLC analyses. The chromatograms of Urtica indicated the presence of five major important alkaloid components （fragrine, benzylisoquinoline, scopoletin, glucoquinone and dotriacotaine） and ten major important phenolic compounds （formic acid, tannin, chlorogenic acid, caffeoylmalic acid, anthocyanine, quercetin, zeaxanthin, luetin epoxide, coumarine and vanillin）. All the concentrations of alkaloid and phenolic compounds were increased significantly due to higher altitudes, except that of alkaloid dotriacotaine. The chromatograms of Viola indicated the presence of four major important alkaloid components （violine, isoquinoline, cycloviolacin and luteolin-3-glucoronide） and ten major important phenolic compounds （formic acid, tannin, chlorogenic acid, caffeoylmalic acid, anthocyanine, quercetin, zeaxanthin, luetin epoxide, coumarine and vanillin）. The results of the influence of altitudes showed that the concentrations of all alkaloids and phenolic compounds were increased significantly due to higher altitudes, except that of the alkaloid luteolin-3-glucoronide and the phenolic compounds zeaxanthin and luetin epoxide. The chromatograms of Melissa indicated the presence of five major essential oils （pinene, linalool, citronellol, geraniol and rosmarinic acid）. Nowadays,quantum machine learning is attracting great interest in a wide range ofﬁelds due to its potential superior performance and *** massive increase in computational capacity and speed of quantum computers can lead to a quantum leap in the healthcareﬁ*** disease seriously threa-tens human health since it is the leading cause of death *** machine learning methods can propose effective solutions to predict heart disease and aid in early *** this study,an ensemble machine learning model based on quantum machine learning classiﬁers is proposed to predict the risk of heart *** proposed model is a bagging ensemble learning model where a quantum support vector classiﬁer was used as a base classiﬁ***-more,in order to make the model’s outcomes more explainable,the importance of every single feature in the prediction is computed and visualized using SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP)*** the experimental study,other stand-alone quantum classiﬁers,namely,Quantum Support Vector Classiﬁer(QSVC),Quantum Neural Network(QNN),and Variational Quantum Classiﬁer(VQC)are applied and compared with classical machine learning classiﬁers such as Sup-port Vector Machine(SVM),and Artiﬁcial Neural Network(ANN).The experi-mental results on the Cleveland dataset reveal the superiority of QSVC compared to the others,which explains its use in the proposed bagging *** Bagging-QSVC model outperforms all aforementioned classiﬁers with an accuracy of 90.16%while showing great competitiveness compared to some state-of-the-art models using the same *** results of the study indicate that quantum machine learning classiﬁers perform better than classical machine learning classi-ﬁers in predicting heart *** addition,the study reveals that the bagging ensemble learning technique is effective in improving the prediction accuracy of quantum classiﬁers.

Network traffic prediction plays a fundamental role in characterizing the network performance and it is of significant interests in many network applications, such as admission control or network management. Therefore, The main idea behind this work, is the development of a WIMAX Traffic Forecasting System for predicting traffic time series based on the daily and monthly traffic data recorded (TRD) with association of feed forward multi-layer perceptron (FFMLP). The quality of forecasting WIMAX Traffic obtained by comparing different configurations of the FFMLP that consist of investigating different FFMLP model architectures and different Learning Algorithms. The decision of changing the FFMLP architecture is essentially based on prediction results to obtain the FFMLP model for flow traffic prediction model. The different configurations were tested using daily and monthly real traffic data recorded at each of the two base stations (A and B) that belongs to a Libyan WiMAX Network. We evaluate our approach with statistical measurement and a good statistic measure of FMLP indicates the performance of selected neural network configuration. The developed system indicates promising results in which it successfully network traffic prediction through daily and monthly traffic data recorded (TRD) association with artificial neural network.

Free space optical （FSO） communication has been considered as an alternative to radio relay link line-of- sight （LOS） communication systems. The total attenuation is a combination of atmospheric attenuation in the atmosphere and geometric losses. The purpose of this paper is to study the geometric loss versus link range （in kin）, divergence angle, transmitter aperture diameter, and receiver aperture diameter. Total attenuation versus low visibility, average visibility, beam divergence, link range and rainfall rate were presented in this paper. Atmospheric attenuation （in dB） and scattering coefficient （in km-~） for several Yemeni main cities were explored. The study was concentrated on received power versus low and average visibilities and link range. Series of related simulation results were illustrated and discussed in this paper about the climate effects on performance of FSO communication systems in Yemen.

Background:Toxoplasma gondii is a zoonotic coccidian parasite causing morbidity and *** Yemen,*** infection has been reported among pregnant women seeking healthcare in the main ***,no data are available on the prevalence of *** infection and its associated risk factors among pregnant women in the rural communities of the ***,the present study aimed to determine the seroprevalence of *** and identify its risk factors among pregnant women in the rural communities of Taiz governorate,***:A total of 359 pregnant women living in the rural communities of Taiz governorate were enrolled in this study by house-to-house *** were collected using a pre-designed questionnaire,and blood samples were collected and tested for the detection of *** IgM and IgG antibodies by enzyme-linked immunosorbent ***:The prevalence of *** infection among pregnant women in this study was 46.2%(166/359).Bivariate analysis identified the age of≥30 years(odds ratio[OR]=1.7;95%confidence interval[CI]=1.09-2.65,P=0.019)and unimproved water sources(OR=2.2;95%CI=1.10-4.55,P=0.023)as factors associated with *** infection among pregnant *** multivariable analysis,however,identified unimproved water sources as an independent risk factor(adjusted OR=2.4;95%CI=1.16-5.0,P=0.018)associated with *** infection among pregnant ***:Pregnant women in the rural communities of Taiz,Yemen are at high risk of contracting *** *** water sources(wells,water streams and water tanks)are significantly associated with *** infection and should be considered in prevention and control strategies,especially among pregnant women.
