Study the Effect of Thickness on the Performance of PM6:Y6 Organic Solar Using SCAPS Simulation

In this study, organic solar cells (OSCs) with an active layer, a blend of polymer of non-fullerene (NFA) Y6 as an acceptor, and donor PBdB-T-2F as donor were simulated through the one-dimensional solar capacitance simulator (SCAPS-1d) software to examine the performance of this type of organic polymer thin-film solar cell by varying the thickness of the active layer. PFN-Br interfacial layer entrenched in OPV devices gives overall enhanced open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density and fill factor thus improving device performance. PEdOT: PSS is an electro-conductive polymer solution that has been extensively utilized in solar cell devices as a hole transport layer (HTL) due to its strong hole affinity, good thermal and mechanical stability, high work function, and high transparency in the visible range. The structure of the organic solar cell is ITO/PEdOT: PSS/BTP-4F: PBdB-T-2F/PFN-Br/Ag. Firstly, the active layer thickness was optimized to 100 nm;after that, the active-layer thickness was varied up to 900 nm. The results of these simulations demonstrated that the active layer thickness improves efficiency significantly up to 500 nm, then it decreased with increasing the thickness of the active layer from 600 nm, also notice that the short circuit current and the fill factor decrease with increasing the active layer from 600 nm, while the open voltage circuit increased with increasing the thickness of the active layer. The optimum thickness is 500 nm.

Memory loss and dementia are major public health concerns with a substantial economic *** stress has been shown to play a crucial role in the pathophysiology of hippocampal damage-induced memory *** investigate whether the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound vanillyla cetone(zingerone) can protect against hippocampal damage and memory loss induced by cadmium chloride(CdCl_(2)) administration in rats,we explo red the potential involvement of the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2) signaling pathway,which is known to modulate oxidative stress and *** healt hy male Wistar rats were divided into five groups:vehicle-treated(control),vanillylacetone,CdCl_(2),vanillylacetone+ CdCl_(2),vanillylacetone+ CdCl_(2)+ brusatol(a selective pharmacological N rf2inhibitor) *** effectively attenuated CdCl_(2)-induced damage in the dental gyrus of the hippocampus and improved the memory function assessed by the Morris Water Maze ***,vanillylacetone markedly decreased the hippocampal tissue levels of inflammatory biomarkers(interleukin-6,tumor necrosis factor-α,intracellular cell adhesive molecules) and apoptosis biomarkers(Bax and cleaved caspase-3).The control and CdCl_(2)-treated groups treated with va nillylacetone showed reduced generation of reactive oxygen species,decreased malondialdehyde levels,and increased superoxide dismutase and glutathione activities,along with significant elevation of nuclear Nrf2 mRNA and protein expression in hippocampal *** the protective effects of vanillylacetone we re substantially blocked by the co-administration of brusatol(a selective N rf2 inhibitor).Va nillylacetone mitigated hippocampal damage and memory loss induced by CdCl_(2),at least in part, by activating the nuclear transcription factor ***,vanillylacetone exerted its potent antioxidant and antiinflammatory actions.

5-year follow-up of combined non-topography guided photorefractive keratectomy and corneal collagen cross linking for keratoconus

AIM： To evaluate the visual outcomes of simultaneous non-topography guided photorefractive keratectomy（PRK） and corneal collagen cross-linking（CXL） in eyes with keratoconus 5 y after the ***： Prospective, interventional, non-randomized, and non-controlled case series design was used. Sixty eyes of 30 patients（16 males and 14 females; age： 21-41 y） with mild, non-progressive（stages 1-2） keratoconus were enrolled. Refraction, uncorrected distance visual acuity（UdVA） and corrected distance visual acuity（CdVA）, flat and steep keratometry readings, and adverse events were evaluated preoperatively and postoperatively. data were collected preoperatively and postoperatively at 3 mo, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 y follow-up visits after combined non-topography-guided PRK with CXL was performed. All patients had at least 5 y of ***： All study parameters showed a statistically significant improvement at 5 y over baseline values. The mean follow-up time was 68.20±4.71 mo（range： 60-106 mo）. Patients showed a significant improvement in UdVA from 1.24±0.79 log MAR prior to combined non-TG-PRK＋CXL to 0.06±0.15 log MAR postoperatively at the time of their last follow-up visit. CdVA significantly increased from 0.06±0.19 log MAR preoperatively to 0.03±0.12 log MAR postoperatively. A significant decrease in the mean spherical equivalent（SE） refraction was observed from-2.28±1.8 to-0.79±0.93 diopters（d）（P〈0.05）, and the manifest sphere decreased from-1.62±1.23 to-0.27±0.21 d（P=0.001）. The manifest cylinder significantly decreased from-1.73±0.86 to-0.29±0.34 d postoperatively（P=0.001）. The mean steep keratometry was 45.13±1.32 vs 47.28±2.12 d preoperatively（P〈0.05）, and the preoperative mean steepest keratometry（Kmax） 48.6±3.1 was reduced significantly to 46.8±2.9 postoperatively（P〈0.05）. CONCLUSION： Combined non-TG-PRK with 15 min CXL is an effective and safe option for correcting mild refractive error and improving visual acuity in patients with mild stable keratoconu

Gastrodia elata在中国被称为(天麻),由于其高营养成分,如酚类、天麻素、多糖、蛋白质等物质,最近被中国卫生部列为中草药和良好功能食品。由于天麻产品市场和消费者需求的增加,以及天麻采收后缺少贮藏研究。有必要开发一种适当的技术来维持天麻的安全和质量。因此,本研究尝试开发一种利用微酸性电解水(SAEW)提高天麻鲜片质量和货架期的合适方法,为实现这个目标,利用硅酸镁锂水溶胶作为一种新的非热加工技术。首先,在中心组合设计下,采用响应面法response surface methodology(RSM)优化SAEW、溶胶浓度和有效氯浓度available chlorine concentration(ACC)对大肠杆菌生长影响的最佳组合条件;最佳条件为:暴露时间(9.5 min)、溶胶浓度(1.7%)、ACC(20.5 ppm)。此外,与对照组相比,ACC增加导致大肠杆菌失活(pd)和不同贮存温度下,提高fresh slices of Gastrodia elata(FSGE)的品质和保质期。评估FSGE在25°C(FSGE-25)和37°C(FSGE-37)的质量变化,包括色泽(L*、a*、b*)、重量损失和衰减指数。制备并评价了四种处理,包括单独使用SAEW处理的FSGE、SAEW+Sol和无菌蒸馏水(dW)处理的FSGE和未处理组的FSGE(对照)。在色泽上,SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE的L*值达到82.24(pd时,其含量降至61.91。贮藏结束时,未处理FSGE的*值增加到0.49,而SAEW+Sol处理FSGE的*值达到-0.21。但贮存期间,各组样品的a*值均有变化,且无显著性差异(p>0.05)。未处理FSGE和SAEW+Sol处理FSGE的b*值分别为11.14和7.96。贮藏13 d时,FSGE-25的失重率迅速增加,处理和未处理的失重率分别为9.78%和13.57%。相比之下,SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE和未处理的FSGE-37的失重率分别达到10.95%和15%。另一方面,FSGE-25和FSGE-37的衰变指数随着贮存时间的延长而增加。FSGE-25和FSGE-37贮存13 d后,衰减指数达到4.3%。相比之下,SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE的衰减指数显著于未处理FSGE和其他处理(pd时未检测到,在储存第7 d时开始增加。在FSGE-25和FSGE-37存储条件下,它们的值分别从3.25和4.13提高到5.79 log CFU/g。维生素C(VC)方面,SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE-25和FSGE-37样品在贮藏13 d后VC含量分别从7.70降至1.23和1.93 mg/100g。FSGE-25和FSGE-37处理的VC含量分别为0.70和0.45 mg/100g,与SAEW+Sol处理差异显著(p<0.05)。此外,FSGE的天麻素含量为0.48μg/ml,经SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE-25和FSGE-37的天麻素含量分别为0.053和0.079μg/ml,低于未处理的(0.085和0.102μg/ml)。SAEW+Sol处理的FSGE-25和FSGE-37的多糖含量分别下降到10.78和10.44mg/g。未处理的FSGE-37和FSGE-25样品分别降至8.05和8.59 mg/。综上所述,含有SAEW的硅酸镁锂水溶胶具有良好的抗菌活性和提高FSGE的品质因子,可用于食品保鲜。
