In some of the previous decades, we have observed that mathematical modeling hasbecome one of the most interesting research fields and has attracted many *** this regard, thousands of researchers have proposed different varieties of mathematicalmodels to study the dynamics of a number of real-world problems. This research workis framed to analyzing the structure of the well-known Lassa hemorrhagic epidemic;adangerous epidemic for pregnant women, via new generalized Caputo type nonintegerorder derivative with the help of a modified Predictor–Corrector scheme. Lassa hemorrhagic disease is an epidemical and biocidal fever, whose negative impacts were initiallyrecognized in the countries of Africa. This virus has killed many pregnant women ascompared to the Ebola epidemic. It was noticed that Lassa virus was isolated in Verocell cultures from a blood pattern, and after 12 days it was ejective, after the climb ofthe sickness. In this research study, necessary theorems and lemmas are reminded toprove the existence of a unique solution and stability of given fractional approximationscheme. all necessary results are reminded to confirm the effectiveness of the proposedapproximation algorithm by graphical observations for various fractional-order *** our practical calculations, we plotted the graphs for two different values of naturaldeath rate along with various values of given fractional-order operator. Our major target is to show the importance of the proposed modified version of the Predictor–Correctoralgorithm in epidemic studies by exploring the given Lassa hemorrhagic fever dynamics.

Despite the wide applications of powder and solid mixing in industry, knowledge on the mixing of polydisperse solid particles in rotary drum blenders is lacking. This study investigates the mixing of monodisperse, bidisperse, tridisperse, and polydisperse solid particles in a rotary drum using the dis- crete element method. To validate the model developed in this study, experimental and simulation results were compared. The validated model was then employed to investigate the effects of the drum rotational speed, particle size, and initial loading method on the mixing quality. The degree of mixing of polydis- perse particles was smaller than that for monodisperse particles owing to the segregation phenomenon. The mixing index increased from an initial value to a maximum and decreased slightly before reaching a plateau for bidisperse, tridisperse, and polydisperse particles as a direct result of the segregation of par- ticles of different sizes. Final mixing indices were higher for polydisperse particles than for tridisperse and bidisperse particles. Additionally, segregation was weakened by introducing additional particles of intermediate size. The best mixing of bidisperse and tridisperse particles was achieved for top-bottom smaller-to-larger initial loading, while that of polydisperse systems was achieved using top-bottom smaller-to-larger and top-bottom larger-to-smaller initial loading methods.

A harmonic dark pulse generation in an erbium-doped fiber laser is demonstrated based on a figure-of-eight configuration. It is found that the harmonic dark pulse can be shifted from the fundamental to the 5th order harmonic by increasing the pump power with an appropriate polarization controller orientation. The fundamental repetition rate of 2O kHz is obtained at the pump power of 29 m W. The highest pulse energy of 42.6 n3 is obtained at the fundamental repetition rate. The operating frequency of the dark pulse trains shifts to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th harmonic as the pump powers are increased to 34mW, 50mW, 59mW and 137mW, respectively.

AIM To provide a clear understanding of viral hepatitis epidemiology and their clinical burdens in *** A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted as Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. A comprehensive literature search of published studies on viral hepatitis was performed from 1977-2016 in Pub Med, Google Scholar, Science Direct, World Health Organization African Index Medicus and the Africa Journals Online databases, as well as on the Ministry of Health website. Nonlinear Polarization Rotation-Based Mode-Locked Erbium-Doped Fiber Laser with Three Switchable Operation States

A simple mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser （EDFL） with three switchable operation states is proposed and demonstrated based on nonlinear polarization rotation. The EDFL generates a stable square pulse at a third harmonic pulse repetition rate of 87kHz as the 1480 nm pump power increases from the threshold of 17.5 m W to 34.3mW. The square pulse duration increases from 105 ns to 245ns as the pump power increases within this region. The pulse operation switches to the second operation state as the pump power is varied from 48.2mW to *** W. The laser operates at a fundamental repetition rate of 29 kHz with a fixed pulse width of 8.5 μs within the pump power region. At a pump power of ***, the average output power is 3.84mW, which corresponds to the pulse energy of 131.5 ng. When the pump power continues to increase, the pulse train experiences unstable oscillation before it reaches the third stable operation state within a pump power region of 138.9 m W to 145.0 m W. Within this region, the EDFL produces a fixed pulse width of 2.8 μs and a harmonic pulse repetition rate of 58 kHz.
