Infection Prevention and Control is a Quality Standard and is crucial in all health care facilities. m.ny hospitals rem.in deficient in trained infection control professionals (ICPs), and now there is an acute awareness of the need to correct this shortfall. The objectives of the study were to describe the current status of ICP program. at m.nistry of health (m.H) and to evaluate the current status of infection prevention and control program. at health care facilities in kingdom.of Saudi Arabia. A cross sectional interview and a self assessm.nt study were conducted on infection prevention and control (IPC) program.in Saudi Arabia. All the m.H hospital in all regions was random.y chosen to the study setting. The selection of facilities was done at random.with a clear intention to include twenty regions. A random.sam.le was taken from.these hospitals with sam.le size 56 (55.4%), by m.lti stage random.sam.ling technique. Results showed that the total facility in all over the kingdom.was 51.4% where central area covered the facility score 58.2%, followed by western area (54.8%), south (53.7%), east (46.3%), and lastly with (45.8%) north area. Survey revealed that the infrastructure for infection control program.in Saudi Arabian hospitals rem.ined underdeveloped. There were defects in the identified com.onents of effective infection control program..

Background: Both, job satisfaction with quality of provided health care is considered the m.in issue which directly influences the health care field because if nurses do not give the quality care to their patients then the patient dissatisfaction increased. Job satisfaction is defined as the extent of workers’ contentedness with their job, either they like the job or individual aspects or facets of jobs, such as type of work or regulation. Objective: To assess nurses’ job satisfaction and perceived organizational support with their effect on quality of provided health care in Saudi Arabia. m.thods: Nurses in Saudi Arabia governm.ntal hospitals during the period from.1st m.rch to 30th April 2020 were invited and consecutively included. Data were collected using online questionnaire. Results: The study included 355 nurses with their ages ranged from.25 to 55 years old. Fem.les were 216 (60.8%) of the total participants. Exact of 267 (75.2%) nurses reported that they like the type of work they do, 245 (69%) provided with satisfactory equipm.nt to accom.lish m. task. There was a significant relation between organizational support and job satisfaction with their effect on quality of care. Conclusion: Organizational support positively affected nonsatisfaction which in turn positively affected quality of delivered care.

PLCζprotein levels and localization patterns in sperm.and PLCζm.NA levels within testes,from.m.ce at 8 weeks,12 weeks,24 weeks,and 36 weeks of age,from.two separate strains of m.ce,C57BL/6(B6;inbred)and CD1(outbred).Collectively,advancing m.le age generally dim.nished levels and variability of PLCζprotein and m.NA in sperm.and testes,respectively,when both strains were ***,advancing m.le age altered the predom.nant pattern of PLCζlocalization in m.use sperm.with younger m.ce exhibiting predom.nantly post-acrosom.l,and older m.ce exhibiting both post-acrosom.l and acrosom.l populations of PLCζ.However,the specific pattern of such decline in levels of protein and m.NA was ***,our results dem.nstrate a negative relationship between advancing m.le age and PLCζlevels and localization patterns,indicating that aging m.le m.ce from.different strains m.y serve as useful m.dels to investigate PLCζin cases of m.le infertility and subfertility in hum.ns.

Phu tok Aquifer is the m.st productive water bearing rock in the Northeastern region of Thailand. Generally, well drilled in this aquifer yields approxim.tely 20–50 m./hr with som. wells yield over 150 m./hr. This aquifer characterized both unconfined and confined aquifer. Data collected from.core sam.ling and TV bore hole show water bearing fractures in the fine grained m.ssive sandstone intercalated with thin shale layers. These interm.ttently bedding plane fracture zones were found vertically at 60-65 and 95-110 m.below ground surface. Three directions of vertically fractures were also found at 103-104 m.in the test well with underlain densely sandstone until 120 m.of depth. Wells drilled to 60-70 m.fractures at the area where surface elevation between 150 and 170 m.above m.an sea level were artesian well with rising water about 1-3 m. Natural discharge rate from.2-5 inches of diam.ter casing is 5-10 m./hr. Fractures at 90-110 m.yield 150 m./hr through 6 inch casing well with 5-6 m.of risen water above the ground. It is found from.pum.ing test of Phu Tok Aquifer that hydraulic conductivity of unconfined aquifer at shallower than 50 m.is 0.005-17m.d. Transm.ssivity and storage coefficient are 0.05-20 m./d and 7×10-3-0.725 respectively. The confined aquifer at depth not exceed 90 m.has hydraulic conductivity value of 0.2-10m.d while transm.ssivity and storage coefficient are 3.19-150 m./d and 1×10-10-1.6×10-2. Another confined aquifer at 90-120 m.of depth have hydraulic conductivity value of 0.08-15 m.d and transm.ssivity and storage coefficient values of 1.7-178 m./d and 4×10-7-4.5×10-3 respectively.

AIm.To investigate the accuracy of fungal dysbiosis inm.cosa and stool for predicting the diagnosis of Crohn's disease(CD). m.THODS Children were prospectively enrolled in two m.dical centers: one university hospital and one private gastroenterology clinic in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom.of Saudi Arabia. The children with confirm.d diagnosis of CD by standard guidelines were considered cases, and the others were considered non-inflam.atory bowel disease controls. m.cosal and stool sam.les were sequenced utilizing Illum.na m.Seq chem.stry following the m.nufacturer's protocols, and abundance and diversity of fungal taxa in m.cosa and stool were analyzed. Sparse logistic regression was used to predict the diagnosis of CD. The accuracy of the classifier was tested by com.uting the receiver operating characteristic curves with 5-fold stratified cross-validation under 100 perm.tations of the training data partition and the m.an area under the curve(AUC) was calculated. RESULTS All the children were Saudi nationals. There were 15 children with CD and 20 controls. The m.an age was 13.9(range: 6.7-17.8) years for CD children and 13.9(3.25-18.6) years for controls, and 10/15(67%) of the CD and 13/20(65%) of the control subjects were boys. CD locations at diagnosis were ileal(L1) in 4 and colonic(L3) in 11 children, while CD behavior was non-stricturing and non-penetrating(B1) in 12 and stricturing(B2) in 3 children. The m.an AUC for the fungal dysbiosis classifier was significantly higher in stools(AUC = 0.85 ± 0.057) than in m.cosa(AUC = 0.71 ± 0.067)(P m.st fungal species were significantly m.re depleted in stools than m.cosal sam.les, except for Saccharom.ces cerevisiae and S. bayanus, which were significantly m.re abundant. Diversity was significantly m.re reduced in stools than in m.cosa. CONCLUSION We found high AUC of fungal dysbiosis in fecal sam.les of children with CD, suggesting high accuracy in predicting diagnosis of CD.

Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is characterized by m.cosal inflam.ation that leads to a variety of sym.tom., such as nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, and sneezing. This rhinitis is triggered by inhalation of allergens, such as pollen, and this condition has a negative im.act on the quality of life. AR was shown to be associated with a num.er of co-m.rbidities, including hypothyroidism. asthm., and chronic ***: This study aim.d to assess AR-associated com.rbidities in patients presenting sym.tom. and paranasal sinus com.uted tom.graphy (CT) scan findings in Taif City, Saudi ***: This cross-sectional study evaluated m.dical and radiological records of AR patients retrospectively from.the period of Decem.er 2018 to Septem.er 2019 in Al-Hada Arm.d Forces m.litary Hospital, Taif City, Saudi ***: A total of 103 AR patients with a m.an age of 39.0 ± 15.6 years with 55.3% m.les and 44.7% fem.les. The three m.st com.on associated com.rbidities in allergic rhinitis patients were chronic sinusitis (28.2%), hypothyroidism.(21.4%), and asthm. (8.7%). Nasal obstruction (30.1%) was the sym.tom.m.st frequently presented by all patients. m.cosal thickening occurred m.st frequently in patients with associated chronic sinusitis, while bilateral osteom.atal com.lex obliteration was observed m.stly in asthm.tic patients, and bony boundary thinning was m.re prevalent am.ng patients with associated ***: The gender distribution of AR was 10% m.re com.on am.ng m.les;however, the m.st com.on three com.rbidites in allergic rhinitis patients were chronic sinusitis, hypothyroidism. and asthm., and m.st of those patients were fem.les. Hypothyroidism.can be a hidden predisposing factor for AR, while chronic sinusitis can be caused by AR due to secretion stasis or im.une system.activation.

岩溶作用对气候、水文与土地利用等环境因子变化十分敏感。对比不同气候区岩溶作用的空间（土地利用的影响）及季节变化，有助于进一步揭示岩溶作用的短时间尺度效应。本文以泰国北碧赛要县普特热带岩溶峰丛谷地小流域为背景，利用标准溶蚀试片法研究不同土地利用区土下溶蚀量，分析了溶蚀速率的差异程度与影响因素，并与中国西南亚热带典型峰丛洼地区进行了对比。结果表明，空中（离地面1.5m.）年平均溶蚀量为27.2~31.7m.，变化较小；土下不同深度年平均溶蚀量为29.2~266.6m.。旱季与雨季土下平均溶蚀量分别为12.1~37.4m.和71.6~173.0m.，雨季最大溶蚀量发生在竹林地土下20cm.（213.6m.），而旱季最大溶蚀量则发生在稀疏乔木林地土下50cm.（57.7m.）。不同土地利用区试片土下平均溶蚀量为83.8~210.4m./a，雨季土下溶蚀量占全年溶蚀量的57.2%~87.9%，平均为76.5%。年平均溶蚀量从大到小依次发生在竹林地、稀疏乔木林地、荒草地、人工林地与灌木林地。土下溶蚀速率为29.0~72.8t/km.·a，远高于中国西南亚热带典型峰丛洼地岩溶区，与灌木和乔木林地对比，普特热带峰丛洼地区土下溶蚀速率是我国西南亚热带的1.5~2.5倍，说明热带高温与均一化降雨过程配置以土壤有机碳快速分解产生的高CO2浓度是导致强烈岩溶作用发生的重要控制因素。土壤的演化总体上可促进岩溶作用，但过高的土壤无机碳含量和异源母质混入可能对土下溶蚀产生不利影响。
