Cross-lingual image description,the task of generating image captions in a target language from images and descriptions in a source language,is addressed in this study through a novel approach that combines neural network models and semantic matching *** conducted on the Flickr8k and AraImg2k benchmark datasets,featuring images and descriptions in English and Arabic,showcase remarkable performance improvements over state-of-the-art *** model,equipped with the Image&Cross-Language Semantic matching module and the Target Language Domain Evaluation module,significantly enhances the semantic relevance of generated image *** English-to-Arabic and Arabic-to-English cross-language image descriptions,our approach achieves a CIDEr score for English and Arabic of 87.9%and 81.7%,respectively,emphasizing the substantial contributions of our *** analyses with previous works further affirm the superior performance of our approach,and visual results underscore that our model generates image captions that are both semantically accurate and stylistically consistent with the target *** summary,this study advances the field of cross-lingual image description,offering an effective solution for generating image captions across languages,with the potential to impact multilingual communication and *** research directions include expanding to more languages and incorporating diverse visual and textual data sources.

Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Using Helmets in Children amongst Parents to Prevent Head Injuries: A Cross-Sectional Study in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Objectives: The primary objective was to characterize the range of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) of Helmet use in children amongst parents to prevent head injuries and death. methods: This is a cross-sectional study, done by online survey using a snowball sampling technique, the number of included responses were 386 parents (male and female) living in Riyadh Aged 21 - 60 years old or above. Results: The study showed that there is a difference in Parents’ belief in the importance of helmet use while riding a Bicycle vs motorcycle/Quad bike and that was affected by parents’ education level, almost all the people who answered the survey (76.7%) agree that it is important for their children to wear a helmet when riding both a Bicycle and a motorcycle or Quadbike with a cumulative percentage of (93.8%). And almost all agreed on multiple approaches to help increase helmet use be it by forcing rental shops to give out helmets, forcing sellers to recommend the use of helmets, increasing awareness campaigns, and imposing fines for not wearing helmets. Conclusions: This study is the first to explore Family helmet use while riding Bicycles and motorcycles/Quad bikes. although Parent’s belief in the importance of helmet use for their children was high, it is clear that the level of practice is low. With that the risk of head injuries might be high, our findings suggest that safety interventions for increasing pediatric helmet use are needed to increase helmet use and reduce the risk of head injury and hospitalization.

This research aims to enhance the performance of photovoltaic (PV) systems on a 2-fold basis. Firstly, it introduces an advanced deep artificial neural network algorithm for accurate and fast maximum power point tracking, ensuring optimal extraction of electrical power from PV arrays. Secondly, it proposes the use of 96-V, 2.98-kW direct-current (DC) water pumps for farm irrigation, aiming to improve efficiency, reduce cost and complexity, and overcome challenges associated with connecting faraway farm irrigation systems to the utility grid. In this study, it has been demonstrated that the use of DC pumps greatly improves system performance and efficiency by eliminating the need for isolation transformers, power passive filters and inverters, therefore simplifying the architecture of the system. The efficacy of the proposed methodology is confirmed by mATLAB (R)/Simulink (R) simulation results, whereby the proposed algorithm attains a mean squared error of 6.5705 x 10-5 and a system efficiency approaching 99.8%, ensuring a steady voltage under varying load conditions. This study demonstrates the use of direct-current electricity from solar PV to power farm irrigation pumps in a way that greatly improves system performance and efficiency, reduces cost and simplifies the architecture of the system. The aim of this research is to demonstrate a novel scheme for approximating the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral *** would be achieved by first establishing a fractional-order version of the 2-point Trapezoidal rule and then by proposing another fractional-order version of the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal *** particular,the so-called divided-difference formula is typically employed to derive the 2-point Trapezoidal rule,which has accordingly been used to derive a more accurate fractional-order formula called the(n+1)-composite Trapezoidal ***,in order to increase the accuracy of the proposed approximations by reducing the true errors,we incorporate the so-called Romberg integration,which is an extrapolation formula of the Trapezoidal rule for integration,into our proposed *** numerical examples are provided and compared with a modern definition of the Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator to illustrate the efficacy of our scheme.

In this editorial,we comment on the article by Liu et al published in the recent issue of the World Journal of Diabetes(Relationship between GCKR gene rs780094 polymorphism and type 2 diabetes with albuminuria).Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2Dm)is a chronic disorder characterized by dysregulated glucose *** persistent elevated blood glucose level in T2Dm significantly increases the risk of developing severe complications,including cardiovascular disease,re-tinopathy,neuropathy,and nephropathy.T2Dm arises from a complex interplay between genetic,epigenetic,and environmental *** genomic studies have identified numerous genetic variations associated with an increased risk of ***,variations within the glucokinase regulatory protein(GCKR)gene have been linked to heightened susceptibility to T2Dm and its associated *** clinical trial by Liu et al further elucidates the role of the GCKR rs780094 polymorphism in T2Dm and nephropathy *** findings demonstrate that individuals carrying the CT or TT genotype at the GCKR rs780094 locus are at a higher risk of developing T2Dm with albuminuria compared to those with the CC *** findings highlight the importance of genetic testing and risk assessment in T2Dm to develop effective preventive strategies and personalized treatment plans.
