A new fractional 6D chaotic model is constructed in this paper.The new fractional 6D chaotic model has six positive parameters plus the fractional order with eight nonlinear terms.The complicated chaotic dy-namics of the new fractional 6D model is presented and analyzed.The basic properties of this model are studied and its chaotic attractors,dissipative feature,symmetry,equilibrium points,Lyapunov Exponents are investigated.The new dynamics of the 6D fractional model is numerically simulated using Matlab software.In addition,utilizing the graph theory tools certain structural characteristics are calculated.An electrical circuit is built to implement the new 5.4 fractional order 6D model.Finally,an active fractional order controller is proposed to control the new model at different fractional orders.The chaos of the new model is very useful and can be used to produce random keys for data encryption.

In light of the rapid growth and development of social media, it has become the focus of interest in many different scientific fields. They seek to extract useful information from it, and this is called (knowledge), such as extracting information related to people’s behaviors and interactions to analyze feelings or understand the behavior of users or groups, and many others. This extracted knowledge has a very important role in decision-making, creating and improving marketing objectives and competitive advantage, monitoring events, whether political or economic, and development in all fields. Therefore, to extract this knowledge, we need to analyze the vast amount of data found within social media using the most popular data mining techniques and applications related to social media sites.

Background:The aim of the study was to evaluate the outcomes of dissatisfed patients reporting poor visual quality following implantation of multifocal intraocular lenses(MF-IOLs),managed by IOL exchange with another multifocal optical profle.Methods:This is a retrospective series of cases.MF-IOL exchange was done in 15 dissatisfed patients(30 eyes)with the perception of poor visual quality for far distance afected by neuroadaptation failure.Patients underwent a bilateral exchange of a MF-IOL with another MF-IOL of a diferent optical profle.Visual outcomes and complications were analyzed.Questionnaires including Quality of Vision(QoV),Visual Function Index-14(VF-14)and its Rasch-revised version(VF-8R)and a satisfaction questionnaire were also used for outcome evaluation.Results:The mean elapsed time from implantation to explantation-reimplantation was 11.8 months.The QoV scores improved signifcantly across all the three subscales.Visual function improved with a change in VF-14 score from 60.41±24.81 to 90.16±10.91(Pal acuity improved from 0.24 to 0.12 logMAR after exchange(Pal acuity improved from 0.15 to 0.04 logMAR(Pg patients’satisfaction following MF-IOL exchange,80%of the patients reported they would have the MF-IOL reimplantation procedure again.Conclusions:Patient dissatisfaction with neuroadaptation failure following MF-IOL implantation can be managed in 80%of our cases by MF-IOL exchange with a diferent MF-IOL optical profle.

Road traffic monitoring is an imperative topic widely discussed among researchers.Systems used to monitor traffic frequently rely on cameras mounted on bridges or roadsides.However,aerial images provide the flexibility to use mobile platforms to detect the location and motion of the vehicle over a larger area.To this end,different models have shown the ability to recognize and track vehicles.However,these methods are not mature enough to produce accurate results in complex road scenes.Therefore,this paper presents an algorithm that combines state-of-the-art techniques for identifying and tracking vehicles in conjunction with image bursts.The extracted frames were converted to grayscale,followed by the application of a georeferencing.algorithm to embed coordinate information into the images.The masking technique eliminated irrelevant data and reduced the computational cost of the overall monitoring system.Next,Sobel edge detection combined with Canny edge detection and Hough line transform has been applied for noise reduction.After preprocessing,the blob detection algorithm helped detect the vehicles.Vehicles of varying sizes have been detected by implementing a dynamic thresholding scheme.Detection was done on the first image of every burst.Then,to track vehicles,the model of each vehicle was made to find its matches in the succeeding images using the template matching.algorithm.To further improve the tracking accuracy by incorporating motion information,Scale Invariant Feature Transform(SIFT)features have been used to find the best possible match among multiple matches.An accuracy rate of 87%for detection and 80%accuracy for tracking in the A1 Motorway Netherland dataset has been achieved.For the Vehicle Aerial Imaging from Drone(VAID)dataset,an accuracy rate of 86%for detection and 78%accuracy for tracking has been achieved.

With the growth of deep drilling and the complexity of the well profile,the requirements for a more complete and efficient exploitation of productive formations increase,which increases the risk of various complications.Currently,reagents based on modified natural polymers(which are naturally occurring compounds)and synthetic polymers(SPs)which are polymeric compounds created industrially,are widely used to prevent emerging complications in the drilling process.However,compared to modified natural polymers,SPs form a family of high-molecular-weight compounds that are fully synthesized by undergoing chemical polymerization reactions.SPs provide substantial flexibility in their design.Moreover,their size and chemical composition can be adjusted to provide properties for nearly all the functional objectives of drilling fluids.They can be classified based on chemical ingredients,type of reaction,and their responses to heating.However,some of SPs,due to their structural characteristics,have a high cost,a poor temperature and salt resistance in drilling fluids,and degradation begins when the temperature reaches 130℃.These drawbacks prevent SP use in some medium and deep wells.Thus,this review addresses the historical development,the characteristics,manufacturing methods,classification,and the applications of SPs in drilling fluids.The contributions of SPs as additives to drilling fluids to enhance rheology,filtrate generation,carrying of cuttings,fluid lubricity,and clay/shale stability are explained in detail.The mechanisms,impacts,and advances achieved when SPs are added to drilling fluids are also described.The typical challenges encountered by SPs when deployed in drilling fluids and their advantages and drawbacks are also discussed.Economic issues also impact the applications of SPs in drilling fluids.Consequently,the cost of the most relevant SPs,and the monomers used in their synthesis,are assessed.Environmental impacts of SPs when deployed in drilling fluids,and their manufacturing processes are identified,toge

Assessing the pomfret stock for setting catch limits in the northern Bay of Bengal,Bangladesh

Pampus argenteus and Pampus chinensis form the high-value demersal Pomfret fishery of Bangladesh.But,due to a monotonic decline in catches over the last five years,it is essential to explore the current stock status concerning the removal rate to ensure the sustainability of this fishery.Therefore,given the reliability and minimal data requirements,this study employed an extended Bayesian State-Space Surplus Production Model,JABBA(Just Another Bayesian Biomass Assessment),to assess the stock rigorously.The results revealed that the stock biomass of the Pomfret fishery in the final year of the time series is significantly lower than BMSY,the biomass required to produce MSY.Consequently,this study recommends a yearly catch limit(TAC)of 10,000 metric tons to prevent further depletion of the stock biomass.Furthermore,to avoid growth overfishing by allowing.all immature fishes to reproduce at least once before being caught,this study also calculated the optimum length(Lopt)for catch for both species at which biologically maximum yield and revenue can be obtained.The estimated Lopt is 25 cm for P.argenteus and 30 cm for P.chinensis,and not to capture fishes with lengths lower than these limits,this study further calculated the minimum mesh size limits for gill and set bag nets is 7.5 cm.Though the mesh size regulation was estimated using length-based reference points derived from an empirical equation,this regulation can be used as an associate reference point when TAC is applied to assure the sustainability of this fishery.

BACKgROUND Fecal calprotectin is a valuable biomarker for assessing intestinal inflammation in pediatric gastrointestinal diseases.However,its role,pros,and cons in various conditions must be comprehensively elucidated.AIM To explore the role of fecal calprotectin in pediatric gastrointestinal diseases,including its advantages and limitations.METHODS A comprehensive search was conducted on PubMed,PubMed Central,google Scholar,and other scientific research engines until February 24,2024.The review included 88 research articles,56 review articles,six metaanalyses,two systematic reviews,two consensus papers,and two letters to the editors.RESULTS Fecal calprotectin is a non-invasive marker for detecting intestinal inflammation and monitoring disease activity in pediatric conditions such as functional gastrointestinal disorders,inflammatory bowel disease,coeliac disease,coronavirus disease 2019-induced gastrointestinal disorders,gastroenteritis,and cystic fibrosis-associated intestinal pathology.However,its lack of specificity and susceptibility to various confounding factors pose challenges in interpretation.Despite these limitations,fecal calprotectin offers significant advantages in diagnosing,monitoring,and managing pediatric gastrointestinal diseases.CONCLUSION Fecal calprotectin holds promise as a valuable tool in pediatric gastroenterology,offering insights into disease activity,treatment response,and prognosis.Standardized protocols and guidelines are needed to optimize its clinical utility and mitigate interpretation challenges.Further research is warranted to address the identified limitations and enhance our understanding of fecal calprotectin in pediatric gastrointestinal diseases.

BACKgROUND Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by deficits in social communication and repetitive behaviors.Metabolomic profiling has emerged as a valuable tool for understanding the underlying metabolic dysregulations associated with ASD.AIM To comprehensively explore metabolomic changes in children with ASD,integrating findings from various research articles,reviews,systematic reviews,meta-analyses,case reports,editorials,and a book chapter.METHODS A systematic search was conducted in electronic databases,including PubMed,PubMed Central,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,CINAHL,Scopus,LISA,and NLM catalog up until January 2024.Inclusion criteria encompassed research articles(83),review articles(145),meta-analyses(6),systematic reviews(6),case reports(2),editorials(2),and a book chapter(1)related to metabolomic changes in children with ASD.Exclusion criteria were applied to ensure the relevance and quality of included studies.RESULTS The systematic review identified specific metabolites and metabolic pathways showing consistent differences in children with ASD compared to typically developing individuals.These metabolic biomarkers may serve as objective measures to support clinical assessments,improve diagnostic accuracy,and inform personalized treatment approaches.Metabolomic profiling.also offers insights into the metabolic alterations associated with comorbid conditions commonly observed in individuals with ASD.CONCLUSION Integration of metabolomic changes in children with ASD holds promise for enhancing diagnostic accuracy,guiding personalized treatment approaches,monitoring treatment response,and improving outcomes.Further research is needed to validate findings,establish standardized protocols,and overcome technical challenges in metabolomic analysis.By advancing our understanding of metabolic dysregulations in ASD,clinicians can improve the lives of affected individuals and their families.

Pt nanoparticles(PtNPs)as active species have always been considered as one of the best semiconductor materials for photocatalytic hydrogen production.In this study,a Schottky heterojunction has been successfully constructed by evenly loading ultrafine PtNPs onto a triazine-based covalent organic frameworks(COFs).This strategy maintained the high activity of these ultra-small PtNPs while maximizing the utilization of the Pt active sites.The fabricated PtNPs@covalent triazine-based framework-1(CTF-1)composite accomplished a significantly high rate of hydrogen evolution(20.0 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)=7.6%,atλ=450 nm)with 0.40 wt.%Pt loading,giving rise to a 44-fold-increase in the efficiency of the photocatalytic hydrogen production compared to the pristine CTF-1.Theoretical calculations revealed that the strong electron transfer(Q(Pt)=−0.726 qe,in the analysis of Bader charge,Q(Pt)is the charge quantity transferred from Pt cluster to CTF-1,and qe is the unit of charge transfer quantity)between PtNPs and CTF-1 triggers a strong interaction,which makes PtNPs being firmly attached to the structure of CTF-1,thereby enabling high stability and excellent hydrogen production efficiency.Importantly,the hydrogen binding free energy(ΔgH*)of PtNPs@CTF-1 is much lower than that of the unmodified CTF-1,leading to a much lower intermediate state and hence a significant improvement in photocatalytic performance.The overall findings of this work provide a new platform to incorporate metallic NPs into COFs for the design and fabrication of highly efficient photocatalysts.

Efficient ECg classification based on Chi-square distance for arrhythmia

This study introduces a new classifier tailored to address the limitations inherent in conventional classifiers such as K-nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),decision tree(DT),and support vector machine(SVM)for arrhythmia detection.The proposed classifier leverages the Chi-square distance as a primary metric,providing a specialized and original approach for precise arrhythmia detection.To optimize feature selection and refine the classifier’s performance,particle swarm optimization(PSO)is integrated with the Chi-square distance as a fitness function.This synergistic integration enhances the classifier’s capabilities,resulting in a substantial improvement in accuracy for arrhythmia detection.Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method,achieving a noteworthy accuracy rate of 98% with PSO,higher than 89% achieved without any previous optimization.The classifier outperforms machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)techniques,underscoring its reliability and superiority in the realm of arrhythmia classification.The promising results render it an effective method to support both academic and medical communities,offering an advanced and precise solution for arrhythmia detection in electrocardiogram(ECg)data.
