The Riemann wave system has a fundamental role in describing waves in various nonlinear natural phenomena,for instance,tsunamis in the *** paper focuses on executing the generalized exponential rational function approach and some numerical methods to obtain a distinct range of traveling wave structures and numerical results of the two-dimensional Riemann *** stability of obtained traveling wave solutions is analyzed by satisfying the constraint conditions of the Hamiltonian *** simulations are investigated via the finite difference method to verify the accuracy of the obtained *** extract the approximation solutions to the underlying problem,some ODE solvers in FORTRAN software are applied,and outcomes are shown *** stability and accuracy of the numerical schemes using Fourier’s stabilitymethod and error analysis,respectively,to increase the reassurance are investigated.A comparison between the analytical and numerical results is obtained and graphically *** proposed methods are effective and practical to be applied for solving more partial differential equations(PDEs).

The extraction of traveling wave solutions for nonlinear evolution equations is a challenge in various mathematics,physics,and engineering *** article intends to analyze several traveling wave solutions for themodified regularized long-wave(MRLW)equation using several approaches,namely,the generalized algebraic method,the Jacobian elliptic functions technique,and the improved Q-expansion *** successfully obtain analytical solutions consisting of rational,trigonometric,and hyperbolic *** adaptive moving mesh technique is applied to approximate the numerical solution of the proposed *** adaptive moving mesh method evenly distributes the points on the high error *** method perfectly and strongly reduces the *** compare the constructed exact and numerical results to ensure the reliability and validity of the methods *** better understand the considered equation’s physical meaning,we present some 2D and 3D *** exact and numerical approaches are efficient,powerful,and versatile for establishing novel bright,dark,bell-kink-type,and periodic traveling wave solutions for nonlinear PDEs.

Differential variable speed limits to improve performance and safety of car-truck mixed traffic on freeways

This study develops a differential variable speed limit(DVSL)which assigns different speed limits for car and truck,and varies speed limits based on traffic *** proposed DVSL algorithm changes speed limits in real time based on truck percentage and occupancy immediately upstream of the ramp and the average speed of the control road sections upstream of the *** algorithm also considers spatial coordination of speeds,which gradually changes the speed limits in successive road sections upstream of the ramp when the severe congestion *** study tested the impacts of DVSL and three other speed limit strategies on delay and safety for a section of the Gardiner Expressway in Toronto,Canada using the VISSIM traffic simulation *** other strategies are 1)uniform speed limit(USL),2)differential speed limit for car and truck(DSL),and 3)USL&DSL(U&D)-i.e.,USL at low truck percentage and DSL at high truck *** was found that DVSL showed the lowest delays for both car and truck among the four *** is mainly because DVSL increased the spacing between vehicles in the right lane upstream of the on-ramp and facilitated vehicles’merging into the mainline *** was also found that DVSL showed the lowest likelihood of rear-end crash between the lead and following vehicles among the four *** study demonstrates that the proposed DVSL algorithm can better control car and truck speeds to reduce delay and improve safety of car-truck mixed traffic flow on freeways.

Publishing big data and making it accessible to researchers is important for knowledge building as it helps in applying highly efficient methods to plan,conduct,and assess scientific ***,publishing and processing big data poses a privacy concern related to protecting individuals’sensitive information while maintaining the usability of the published *** anonymization methods,such as slicing and merging,have been designed as solutions to the privacy concerns for publishing big ***,the major drawback of merging and slicing is the random permutation procedure,which does not always guarantee complete protection against attribute or membership ***,merging procedures may generatemany fake tuples,leading to a loss of data utility and subsequent erroneous knowledge *** study therefore proposes a slicingbased enhanced method for privacy-preserving big data publishing while maintaining the data *** particular,the proposed method distributes the data into horizontal and vertical *** lower and upper protection levels are then used to identify the unique and identical attributes’*** unique and identical attributes are swapped to ensure the published big data is protected from disclosure *** outcome of the experiments demonstrates that the proposed method could maintain data utility and provide stronger privacy preservation.

Integrating machine learning and data mining is crucial for processing big data and extracting valuable insights to enhance ***,imbalanced target variables within big data present technical challenges that hinder the performance of supervised learning classifiers on key evaluation metrics,limiting their overall *** study presents a comprehensive review of both common and recently developed Supervised Learning Classifiers(SLCs)and evaluates their performance in data-driven *** evaluation uses various metrics,with a particular focus on the Harmonic Mean Score(F-1 score)on an imbalanced real-world bank target marketing *** findings indicate that grid-search random forest and random-search random forest excel in Precision and area under the curve,while Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGBoost)outperforms other traditional classifiers in terms of F-1 *** oversampling methods to address the imbalanced data shows significant performance improvement in XGBoost,delivering superior results across all metrics,particularly when using the SMOTE variant known as the BorderlineSMOTE2 *** study concludes several key factors for effectively addressing the challenges of supervised learning with imbalanced *** factors include the importance of selecting appropriate datasets for training and testing,choosing the right classifiers,employing effective techniques for processing and handling imbalanced datasets,and identifying suitable metrics for performance ***,factors also entail the utilisation of effective exploratory data analysis in conjunction with visualisation techniques to yield insights conducive to data-driven decision-making.

GLP-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RAs) are among the most successful medications for treating people with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), giving reasonable glycemic control with a low risk of hypoglycemia in those who have failed to control their condition with other oral anti-diabetic drugs (OADs). However, GLP-1RAs are underutilized—as time patients remained on their last oral treatment regimen with inadequate glycemic control prior to GLP-1RA initiation is on average of 19 month—despite evidence supporting their effectiveness, safety, and possible CV outcome advantages. With the new advances in GLP-1 RAs, the first oral form for the semaglutide molecule was developed with proven efficacy, safety, and patient preferences that may help pave the road for more utilization of this class. Therefore, we, a Saudi task force, gathered to develop an explicit, evidence-based consensus on oral semaglutide use in Saudi patients with diabetes. The panel recommends a GLP-1RA in those T2DM patients with or without or at high risk for ASCVD, HF, and/or CKD when there is a need to minimize weight gain or promote weight loss, or when there is a need to minimize hypoglycemia. Ensure that people with T2DM and ASCVD, HF, or CKD are treated appropriately with an SGLT-2i or GLP-1 RA. This approach should be initiated independent of background therapy, glycaemic control, or individualized treatment goals. Healthcare professionals should do their best to prevent clinical inertia in T2DM to help people with T2DM achieve better glycemic control and prevent or delay diabetes-related complications. The availability of oral forms of GLP-1RA medications could help combat this problem of clinical inertia to start GLP-1RA at the right time, as patients prefer oral to injectable forms. The availability of oral GLP-1RA can help in starting this class early and encourage healthcare professionals in prescribing it at the right time. Diabetic patients and Ramadan fasting:how they live it?

Objective:To quantify the prevalence of fasting during Ramadan month among diabetic patients and to observe the factors which were deferring between fasting and non-fasting diabetic ***:A cross-sectional study was carried out at primary health care *** diabetic patients were interviewed with a structured data form by trained research ***’age,gender,marital status,weight and height,diabetes type,medication,compliance,follow up,self monitoring and any complication faced during the fasting were *** risk factors including smoking habit,hypertension,dyslipidemia and pre-existing cardiovascular diseases were also ***:Out of 920 diabetic patients,95%were suffering from DM type *** patients who fasted the whole month of Ramadan were 84%.The proportion of type 1 and type 2 was 71%and 85%*** 63%of DM type 2 patients were treated with oral hypoglycemic agents(OHAs) alone and 2.4%with combination of OHAs and *** 42%of DM type 1 and 36%of DM type 2 patients has visited their physicians prior to their fast for *** significant differing factors which make non-fasting in diabetic patients,were medication(insulin),complications,hyperglycemia,retinopathy, neuropathy,nephropathy and vascular ***:This study has identified the factors in diabetic patients,were being compliant with medication,oral treatments and family support which lead to more likely to fast in Ramadan *** which reduce fasting by these patients were acute and chronic complications,time since diagnosis and insulin *** would be acceptable for patients who are compliant with their diet and medication.
