Every new generation of antennas is characterized by increased accuracy and faster transmission ***,patch antennas have been known to damage human *** type of antenna sends out electromagnetic waves that increase the temperature of the human head and prevent nerve strands from functioning *** paper examines the effect of the communication between the patch antenna and the brain on the head’s temperature by developing a hypothetical multi-input model that achieves more accurate *** inputs are an individual’s blood and tissue,and the emission power of the *** forces depend on the permeability and conductivity characteristics of the metal from which the antenna is *** proposed model is the first one that links the material the antenna is manufactured from and the head’s *** results show that there are only a small number of materials that should be used as antenna *** materials are in the form of thin *** using these thin films at different temperatures,the risk to the head can be *** paper finds that the best results were obtained when the patch antenna was made of one of the following materials operating at a specific temperature:traditional materials at 305°K;casting cast steel at around 295°K;bismuth telluride(Bi2Te3)at 290°K;or barium sodium niobate at 310°K.

The road construction industry aims to contribute to the protection of already compromised *** mix asphalt(CMA)is a measure initiated by the road industry to protect the environment and preserve *** having additional benefits,CMA has attracted little attention due to its inferior ***'s performance is enhanced using a sustainable binder bio-modifier,natural cup lump rubber(CLR)is one of *** study evaluated the tensile properties,rutting,moisture susceptibility,and adhesion properties of CLR-modified CMA(CMA-CR).The tensile property was enhanced by 26%due to CLR ***-CR had excellent rutting resistance of less than 2 mm rut depth at 10,000 load cycles,showing 70%improvement compared with conventional *** susceptibility evaluation indicated that CMA-CR had tensile strength ratio(TSR)value of 104%,satisfying the minimum 80%requirement of AASHTO *** also retained more than 96%bitumen *** moisture damage resistance was improved by 12%and 10%in terms of TSR and stripping,*** durability results revealed that the CMA-CR mixture prevented higher mass loss,representing 14%improvement compared with conventional CMA.

This paper presents a smart checkout system designed to mitigate the issues of noise and errors present in the existing barcode and RFID-based systems used at retail stores’checkout *** is achieved by integrating a novel AI algorithm,called Improved Laser Simulator Logic(ILSL)into the RFID *** enhanced RFID system was able to improve the accuracy of item identification,reduce noise interference,and streamline the overall checkout *** potential of the systemfor noise detection and elimination was initially investigated through a simulation study usingMATLAB and ILSL ***,it was deployed in a small-scale environment to validate its real-world *** show that RFID with the proposed new algorithm ILSL and AI basket is capable of accurately detecting the related itemswhile eliminating noise originating fromunrelated objects,achieving an accuracy rate of 88%.

Microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors（PBRs） has emerged as a promising and sustainable approach to address various environmental and energy challenges, offering a multitude of benefits across diverse *** developments in microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors have contributed substantially to the development and optimization of sustainable bioprocesses. This review presents a comprehensive analysis of recent innovations and breakthroughs in the field of microalgae cultivation, with a specific focus on their application in photobioreactors, aimed at paving the way for a greener future. This study in-depth examines the advantages of microalgae cultivation in photobioreactors, concentrating on its effectiveness in wastewater treatment, CO2bioremediation, and the production of biofuels and high-value products. The review evaluates the effects of light,solar irradiation, temperature, nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations in culture media, CO2concentrations, and pH on microalgae growth performance, including specific growth and biomass productivity. The study also examines open systems like unstirred ponds, raceway ponds, and circular ponds and closed systems like horizontal tubular, vertical bubble-column, airlift, flat panel, and plastic-bag photobioreactors, comparing their pros and cons. To optimize microalgae cultivation, key factors in photobioreactor design, including photosynthetic efficiencies, light/dark（L/D） cycles, CO2concentrations, mass transfer, hydrodynamics behavior, and p H, are extensively investigated. In addition, the review outlines recent developments in large-scale photobioreactors and highlights the challenges and opportunities associated with photobioreactor scale-up and design parameter optimization, including genetic engineering and economic feasibility. Socio-Demographic and Clinical Characteristics of Patients Presenting with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Secondary to BPH, in a Tertiary Hospital

Background: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the proliferation of the stromal and epithelial cells of the prostate gland, resulting in an increase in its size. This may result in obstruction of the lower urinary tract causing storage and voiding symptoms. Methods: This was a prospective cross-sectional study from August 2020 to July 2021, to evaluate the characteristic of patients presenting to the Tamale Teaching Hospital with lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to BPH. Results: The median age at presentation with LUTS secondary to BPH is 68.88 ± 11.10 years with an average prostate volume of 70 g. The average time of presentation to the hospital is 5 months, mostly with moderate to severe symptoms. Correlation between Prostate volume (PV) and age yielded a positive relationship;however, this was not statistically significant, (r = 0.028, p-value = 0.747). There was a significant positive relationship between PV and the IPSS score, (r = 0.334, p-value Conclusion: Our patients with symptomatic BPH present at age 60 years and above, with nearly all of them presenting with moderate to severe LUTS.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has been shown to increase the risk of ***,the prevalence and risk of recurrent stroke in COVID-19 patients with prior stroke/transient ischemic attack(TIA),as well as its impact on mor-tality,are not *** To evaluate the impact of COVID-19 on in-hospital mortality,length of stay,and healthcare costs in patients with recurrent *** We identified admissions of recurrent stroke(current acute ischemic stroke admissions with at least one prior TIA or stroke)in patients with and without COVID-19 using ICD-10-CM codes using the National Inpatient Sample(2020).We analyzed the impact of COVID-19 on mortality following recurrent stroke admissions by *** Of 97455 admissions with recurrent stroke,2140(2.2%)belonged to the COVID-19-positive *** COVID-19-positive group had a higher prevalence of diabetes and chronic kidney disease vs the COVID-19 negative group(P65 years,patients aged 45–64 years,Asians,Hispanics,whites,and blacks in the COVID-19 positive group had higher rates of all-cause mortality than the COVID-19 negative group(P65(OR:7.04,95%CI:5.24-9.44),males(OR:7.82,95%CI:5.38-11.35)compared to females(OR:6.15,95%CI:4.12-9.18),and in Hispanics(OR:15.47,95%CI:7.61-31.44)and Asians/Pacific Islanders(OR:14.93,95%CI:7.22-30.87)compared to blacks(OR:5.73,95%CI:3.08-10.68),and whites(OR:5.54,95%CI:3.79-8.09).CONCLUSION The study highlights the increased risk of all-cause in-hospital mortality in recurrent stroke patients with COVID-19,with a more pronounced increase in middle-aged patients,males,Hispanics,or Asians.

Exploring public perception and willingness to pay for a renewable source of energy: evidence from an emerging economy of renewable-energy development

The study focuses on the transition from conventional energy sources to sustainable renewable energy (RE) in Palestine, particularly in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The research aims to understand the relationship between key factors and residents' willingness to invest in the RE sector, with a specific focus on the impact of education. Using the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology, the study analyzes data from 400 residents through a questionnaire and employs ordinary least-squares regression analysis with Eviews 12. The key findings indicate that residents' inclination to invest in RE is significantly influenced by factors such as resource availability, knowledge level and power outages. Moreover, the study suggests that educated residents are more likely to invest in RE when factors such as knowledge, effort expectation, enabling conditions and resource availability are relatively high. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of policymakers' allocating sufficient funds to research and development to promote technological innovation in RE sources, thereby enhancing the population's energy efficiency. The study focuses on the transition from conventional energy to sustainable renewable energy in Palestine, particularly in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, to understand the relationship between key factors and residents' willingness to invest in the RE sector, with a specific focus on the impact of education.
