The neutron capture rates and temperature dependent stellar beta decay rates of Mo isotopes are investigated within the framework of the statistical code TALYS v1.96 and the proton neutron quasi particle random phase approximation(pn-QRPA)*** Maxwellian average cross-section(MACS)and neutron capture rates for the^(95-98)Mo(n,γ)^(96-99)Mo radiative capture process are analyzed within the framework of the statistical code TALYS v1.96 based on the phenomenological nuclear level density model and gamma strength *** present model-based computations for the MACS are comparable to the existing measured *** sensitivity of stellar weak interaction rates to various densities and temperatures is investigated within the framework of the pn-QRPA *** attention is paid to the impact of thermally filled excited states in the decaying nuclei(^(95-98)Mo)on electron emission and positron capture ***,we compare the neutron capture rates and stellar beta decay *** is found that neutron capture rates are higher than stellar beta decay rates at both lower and higher temperatures.

Prediction of machine failure is challenging as the dataset is often imbalanced with a low failure *** common approach to han-dle classification involving imbalanced data is to balance the data using a sampling approach such as random undersampling,random oversampling,or Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique(SMOTE)*** paper compared the classification performance of three popular classifiers(Logistic Regression,Gaussian Naïve bayes,and Support Vector Machine)in predicting machine failure in the Oil and Gas *** original machine failure dataset consists of 20,473 hourly data and is imbalanced with 19945(97%)‘non-failure’and 528(3%)‘failure data’.The three independent variables to predict machine failure were pressure indicator,flow indicator,and level *** accuracy of the classifiers is very high and close to 100%,but the sensitivity of all classifiers using the original dataset was close to *** performance of the three classifiers was then evaluated for data with different imbalance rates(10%to 50%)generated from the original data using SMOTE,SMOTE-Support Vector Machine(SMOTE-SVM)and SMOTE-Edited Nearest Neighbour(SMOTE-ENN).The classifiers were evaluated based on improvement in sensitivity and *** showed that the sensitivity of all classifiers increases as the imbalance rate *** with radial basis function(RbF)kernel has the highest sensitivity when data is balanced(50:50)using SMOTE(Sensitivitytest=0.5686,Ftest=0.6927)compared to Naïve bayes(Sensitivitytest=0.4033,Ftest=0.6218)and Logistic Regression(Sensitivitytest=0.4194,Ftest=0.621).Overall,the Gaussian Naïve bayes model consistently improves sensitivity and F-measure as the imbalance ratio increases,but the sensitivity is below 50%.The classifiers performed better when data was balanced using SMOTE-SVM compared to SMOTE and SMOTE-ENN.

Uveitis secondary to Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease is rare in *** the best of our knowledge,this patient is the first reported case of uveitis attributed to VKH in a child in Malaysia.A 9-year-old girl complained of non-resolving painful red eyes bilaterally for 3 *** segment of right eye showed mutton fat keratic precipitates,posterior synechiae and moderate anterior chamber *** segment of left eye revealed mutton fat keratic precipitates,band keratopathy on peripheral 3 and 9 o'clock of the cornea,iris bombe,iris nodule and seclusio *** examination of right eye revealed subretinal deposit at superior and inferior arcades with flat retina while left eye showed hazy *** was then noted to have poliosis and vitiligo after 1 month from initial *** cataract and widespread atrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium accounting for the loss in vision *** case report is to highlight the importance of early recognition of paediatric Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada and treating it aggressively to prevent the irreversible destructive sequalae of the disease.

A 52 year-old construction worker presented with progressive painful blurring of vision in the left eye associated with redness for past 1 *** was a history of penetrating injury in the same eye 10 years ago and he underwent primary wound toilet and suturing,lens removal with intraocular lens *** lamp examination revealed a corneal scar at 9’oclock,a large transilluminant iris cyst superotemporally and adherent to corneal *** was extended from angle of the pupil and obstructing the visual *** patient underwent excision of an iris cyst through superior limbal *** was done to separate the cyst from the corneal endothelium and underlying iris *** blue ophthalmic solution was injected into the cyst to stain the cyst *** operatively 7 days,vision improved to 6/7.5 without *** was no recurrence up to 1 year *** finding revealed a benign cyst mass lined by simple cuboidal to nonkeratinized stratified squamous *** had achieved a good surgical outcome with no complication to date for our case *** advocate this modified surgical method to completely remove iris cyst.

This case report aims to report an uncommon case of bee sting keratopathy with retained stinger.A 55-year-old man presented with left cornea bee sting while gardening two days prior to first *** complained of severe eye pain with redness,tearing and blurring of *** examination,his right eye visual acuity was 6/6 and in left eye was hand *** was generalized conjunctival hyperemia and cornea showing significant descemet striae.A bee stinger with surrounding infiltration noted at 2 o'clock was associated with striate *** was deeply seated at the posterior third of cornea stroma near to paracentral *** was mid-dilated with absence of relative afferent pupillary *** was neither hypopyon nor *** posterior segment could not be visualized due to severe corneal ***,b-scan ultrasound was *** stinger was removed under local anaesthesia on the day of ***-operatively,patient was administered with topical moxifloxacin and topical non steroidal anti-inflammatory *** weeks later,there was resolution of cornea infiltrate with improvement of striate keratitis and his vision was improved to 1/***,cornea edema did not regress but ended up with bullous *** patient has undergone descemet-stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty and his vision was improved to 6/*** recommend early stinger removal to reduce the possible sequelae of bee sting toxicity for better visual outcome.

Due to their excellent dielectric properties and the rapid response to microwave irradiation,silicon carbide nanowhiskers(SiCNWs)were employed as microwave susceptor in this study to absorb microwave and locally melt the surrounding polypropylene(PP)substrates for the joining of PP *** welded joint is formed after the melted PP was cooled and *** than microwave susceptor,SiCNWs also acted as the nanofillers in strengthening the welded joint through the formation of SiCNWs reinforced PP nanocomposite at the interface of PP ***,the effect of microwave power on the microwave welding of PP substrates using SiCNWs as susceptor was studied and *** was found that the tensile strength and modulus of elasticity of the welded joint improved as microwave power ***,it deteriorates the flexibility of the welded joint as high stiffness SiCNWs were incorporated deeper into the PP matrix which restricted the PP chain *** from microwave power,clamping pressure is also critical in determining the mechanical properties of a welded *** compared to unclamped welded joint,the tensile strength,modulus of elasticity and flexibility of welded joint subjected to clamping pressure improved ***,the tensile strength of welded joint increased when the clamping pressure was increased from P1 to P3,but decreased when the clamping pressure was further increased to P4 due to the occurrence of flashing at welded *** formation mechanism of SiCNWs reinforced PP welded joint was also proposed in this *** to conventional welding,this welding process is easy,straightforward and is able to produce welded joint with outstanding mechanical properties via precise controlling of the processing ***,microwave welding is thought to offer an option for the joining of thermoplastics and other applications.

Human personality assessment using gait pattern recognition is one of the most recent and exciting research *** is a person’s identity that can reflect reliable information about his mood,emotions,and substantial personality traits under *** research focuses on recognizing key personality traits,including neuroticism,extraversion,openness to experience,agreeableness,and conscientiousness,in line with the bigfive model of *** inferred personality traits based on the gait pattern recognition of individuals utilizing built-in smartphone *** experimentation,we collected a novel dataset of 22 participants using an android application and further segmented it into six data chunks for a critical *** data pre-processing,we extracted selected features from each data segment and then applied four multiclass machine learning algorithms for training and classifying the dataset corresponding to the users’big-Five Personality Traits Profiles(bFPT).Experimental results and performance evaluation of the classifiers revealed the efficacy of the proposed scheme for all big-five traits.

Anomalous situations in surveillance videos or images that may result in security issues,such as disasters,accidents,crime,violence,or terrorism,can be identified through video anomaly ***,differentiat-ing anomalous situations from normal can be challenging due to variations in human activity in complex environments such as train stations,busy sporting fields,airports,shopping areas,military bases,care centers,*** learning models’learning capability is leveraged to identify abnormal situations with improved *** work proposes a deep learning architecture called Anomalous Situation Recognition Network(ASRNet)for deep feature extraction to improve the detection accuracy of various anomalous image *** proposed framework has five *** the first step,pretraining of the proposed architecture is performed on the CIFAR-100 *** the second step,the proposed pre-trained model and Inception V3 architecture are used for feature extraction by utilizing the suspicious activity recognition *** the third step,serial feature fusion is performed,and then the Dragonfly algorithm is utilized for feature optimization in the fourth ***,using optimized features,various Support Vector Machine(SVM)and K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)based classification models are utilized to detect anomalous *** proposed framework is validated on the suspicious activity dataset by varying the number of optimized features from 100 to *** results show that the proposed method is effective in detecting anomalous situations and achieves the highest accuracy of 99.24%using cubic SVM.
