Paediatric cardiac disease is an established cause of ischemic stroke in the neonatal and infantile groups. These diseases may be congenital or acquired. However, clinical myocarditis is in itself, relatively uncommon in older children. The most common pathogen is Coxsackie virus B. The offending agent instigates an immune response, which causes myocardial oedema with eventual systolic and diastolic dysfunction. Cardioembolic stroke can occur secondary to an intra-mural thrombus in a dysfunctional atrium or ventricle. We describe the case of an adolescent male with acute myocarditis complicated by a thromboembolic stroke. After initial management of acute pulmonary oedema and heart failure with restricted ejection fraction (HFrEF), the child developed seizure-like symptoms on the 10th day of hospitalization, prompting urgent neuro-radio diagnosis, which revealed acute infarcts in the cerebellum and frontal lobe of the cerebrum. We believe this case to be of clinical relevance because;1) The diagnosis of an acute stroke in children is often delayed due to the atypical clinical presentation and often the absence of traditional stroke-like symptoms, and 2) There is a lack of sufficient high-quality evidence regarding the predictors and the immediate management of stroke in paediatric heart disease, as well as inadequate data on prevalence and incidence in paediatric cardioembolic strokes.

Selenium is a crucial trace element that contributes to physiological processes in the body as selenoproteins. Selenoproteins serve as an integral role in the body in controlling the redox state of cells and protecting against damage induced by oxidative stress. This study aimed to investigate the effects and possible mechanism of selenium on selenoproteins expression in ***926 cells induced by oxLDL. The impact of selenium on the viability of ***926 cells was detected by the MTT method， and intracellular ROS level and mitochondrial membrane potential were assessed by fluorescent probe DCFH-DA and JC-1， respectively. RNA-seq， quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR)， and western blot were used to investigate the selenoprotein expression. Selenoprotein mRNA translation efficiency was analyzed by ribosome profiling (Ribo-Seq) coupled with transcriptomics. Our data showed that selenium supplementation (0.5 μmol/L) significantly decreased ROS production， reduced mitochondrial inner membrane potential and increased the proliferative activity of ***926 cells induced by oxLDL. Moreover， The protective effects of selenium against oxLDL-induced ***926 cell injury were associated with the upregulation of the expressions of selenoproteins GPX1， GPX4， and TXNRD1. Furthermore， the expressions of selenoproteins GPX1 and GPX4 were hierarchically controlled， but the expressions of selenoproteins TXNRD1 were mainly regulated by oxLDL. Finally， Ribo-Seq coupled with transcriptomics results demonstrated that the expressions of selenoproteins GPX1， GPX4， and TXNRD1 were regulated at the translation process level. These findings suggested that selenium could have preventive effects in oxLDL induced ***926 cell injury by regulating the selenoprotein expression， and the selenoproteins expressions at the translation level in vascular endothelial cells need further study.

Sprouts are ready-to-eat and are recognized worldwide as functional components of the human *** advances in innovative agricultural techniques could enable an increase in the production of healthy *** use of light-emitting diode(LED)in indoor agricultural production could alter the biological feedback loop,increasing the functional beneﬁts of plant foods such as wheat and lentil sprouts and promoting the bioavailability of *** effects of white(W),red(R),and blue(B)light were investigated on the growth parameters and nutritional value of wheat and lentil *** the laboratory,seeds were sown under three different LED treat-ments:white,red,and blue light,while normal incandescent light served as a *** seed germina-tion improved by 18.34%and 12.67%for wheat and 18.34%and 12.67%for lentil sprouts under LED treatments R and B,*** increase in total soluble protein and sugar by 33.4%and 9.23%in wheat and by 31.5%and 5.87%in lentils was observed under the R LED *** C concentrations in wheat and lentils were signiﬁcantly increased by R LED compared to all other *** parameters,including potassium and sodium concentrations,were signiﬁcantly increased under red and blue light compared to the control;white light,on the other hand,signiﬁcantly decreased all these *** to the experimental data,red and blue LED light could be beneﬁcial in the production of functional wheat and lentil sprouts with high nutrient concentrations.

为探明花后弱光胁迫对软质小麦籽粒产量、淀粉粒度分布及黏度参数的影响,以软质小麦品种荃麦725和扬麦15为材料,在小麦开花后设置3个弱光处理即S1 (遮光10%)、S2(遮光20%)、S3(遮光30%)处理,以自然光照条件为对照,分析花后不同程度弱光条件下软质小麦籽粒产量、淀粉粒度分布与黏度参数的差异。结果表明,与对照相比,花后弱光降低了小麦粒重、穗粒数和产量,提高了籽粒蛋白质含量,但使籽粒淀粉含量、籽粒蛋白质和淀粉积累量显著减少。花后弱光降低了软质小麦B型淀粉粒(粒径≤10μm)体积、表面积百分比,增加了A型淀粉粒(粒径>10μm)体积、表面积百分比,对A、B型淀粉粒数目百分比无显著影响。在B型淀粉粒中,弱光对粒径0.1～2.8μm的淀粉粒体积百分比的影响较粒径2.8～10μm的淀粉粒大。在A型淀粉粒中,弱光对粒径>22μm的淀粉粒体积百分比的影响大于粒径10～22μm的淀粉粒。弱光导致小麦籽粒淀粉峰值黏度、低谷黏度、最终黏度、稀懈值、回升值等参数显著下降。花后弱光虽然可增加软质小麦籽粒蛋白质含量,但显著降低籽粒淀粉含量以及蛋白质和淀粉积累量,不利于粒重与产量形成;弱光对B型淀粉粒的影响大于A型淀粉粒,会降低B型淀粉粒体积和表面积占比,但可增加A型淀粉粒体积和表面积占比,降低淀粉峰值黏度等参数。

The present study was aimed to assess the ability of Bacillus ***-2-1 and Staphylococcus capitis to reduce hexavalent chromium into its trivalent *** ***-2-1 could tolerate Cr（Ⅵ）（4800 μg/mL） and *** could tolerate Cr（Ⅵ）（2800 μg/mL）.Both organisms were able to resist Cd^2＋（50 μg/mL）,Cu^2＋（200 μg/mL）,Pb^2＋（800 μg/mL）,Hg^2＋（50 μg/mL） and Ni2＋（4000 μg/mL）.*** resisted Zn^2＋ at 700 μg/mL while Bacillus ***-2-1 only showed resistance up to 50 μg/*** ***-2-1 and *** showed optimum growth at pH 6 and 7,respectively,while both bacteria showed optimum growth at 37°*** ***-2-1 and *** could reduce 85% and 81% of hexavalent chromium from the medium after 96 h and were also capable of reducing hexavalent chromium 86% and 89%,respectively,from the industrial effuents after 144 *** free extracts of Bacillus ***-2-1 and *** showed reduction of 83% and 70% at concentration of 10 μg Cr（Ⅵ）/mL,*** presence of an induced protein having molecular weight around 25 kDa in the presence of chromium points out a possible role of this protein in chromium *** bacterial isolates can be exploited for the bioremediation of hexavalent chromium containing wastes,since they seem to have a potential to reduce the toxic hexavalent form to its nontoxic trivalent form.

Analysis is carried for the problem of boundary layer steady flow and heat transfer of a micropolar fluid containing nanoparticles over a vertical *** governing partial differential equations of linear momentum,angular momentum,heat transfer and nano concentration are reduced to nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations by applying the boundary layer approximations and a suitable similarity *** nonlinear coupled ordinary differential equations,subject to the appropriate boundary conditions,are then solved by using the homotopy analysis *** effects of the physical parameters on the flow,heat transfer and nanoparticle concentration characteristics of the model are presented through graphs and the salient features are discussed.

COVID-19 is a contagious disease and its several variants put under stress in all walks of life and economy as *** diagnosis of the virus is a crucial task to prevent the spread of the virus as it is a threat to life in the whole ***,with the advancement of technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)and social IoT(SIoT),the versatile data produced by smart devices helped a lot in overcoming this lethal *** mining is a technique that could be used for extracting useful information from massive *** this study,we used five supervised ML strategies for creating a model to analyze and forecast the existence of COVID-19 using the Kaggle dataset“COVID-19 Symptoms and Presence.”RapidMiner Studio ML software was used to apply the Decision Tree(DT),Random Forest(RF),K-Nearest Neighbors(K-NNs)and Naive Bayes(NB),Integrated Decision Tree(ID3)*** develop the model,the performance of each model was tested using 10-fold cross-validation and compared to major accuracy measures,Cohan’s kappa statistics,properly or mistakenly categorized cases and root means square *** results demonstrate that DT outperforms other methods,with an accuracy of 98.42%and a root mean square error of *** the future,a devisedmodel will be highly recommendable and supportive for early prediction/diagnosis of disease by providing different data sets.

In recent decades, a number of protocols for Remote data integrity checking(RDIC) have been proposed. Identity(ID) based RDIC protocols are constructed to guarantee cloud data integrity and data privacy. The known protocols for RDIC always assume that the Private key generator(PKG) is a trusted one, but in real-world applications by corrupt PKG, malicious Cloud server(CS) can easily cheat the third party auditor that the data owner’s outsourced data are kept safe through the data has been deleted or altered. In this paper, we explore the novel model of RDIC with untrusted PKG and malicious CS, by employing the partial key method and Authentication, authorization, accounting(AAA) *** construct a new ID-based RDIC, which provides the ID revocation and key updation. The experimental evaluations show that our scheme is more efficient than known ones.
