Human Health Risk Assessment in Shahid Rajaee Container Terminal

As the ports play a prominent role in the national economy of the countries and a number of factors such as safety condition of the port and low rate or non-occurrence of accidents are greatly important for being selected as a destination for cargo owners to bring their vessels and cargo therein, giving due care to safety related issues in ports and harbors is among jurisdictional and sensitive duties of the authorities in ports and maritime areas. Enjoying some 3000 km of marine coastlines and more than 10 commercial ports throughout the country, Iran is no exception where its ports are responsible for cargo import and export. In this respect, container terminals are one of the high-risk areas in ports requiring extensive care of the pertaining authorities to take appropriate measures to maintain safety standard there. One of the significant methods and techniques for the risk assessment is P&HRAM as to the containers terminals. This method has been employed in this research taking into account the operation attributes of the works in ports and harbors. This method provided appropriate answers to the research questions in that it was predicted that the great part of the activities in container terminal poses a higher risk from human perspective than expected requiring some measures to be taken to mitigate the risks to a tolerable level. This research was conducted and the results demonstrated that more than 75% of the risks in container terminals are higher than acceptable level about which some measures were taken and the risks were reduced to 100% lower than tolerable level.

Radioactive Anomalies in 1:50000 Dehbakri Sheet, South of Kerman Province, Iran

Using airborne radiometric geophysical data, one can easily investigate a wide region in a short time and with little cost to finally find areas that are rich in radioactive elements. In this research, the uranium exploration data were first organized, filtered and classified and then the frequency distribution tables and histograms were drawn. After drawing the histograms, the statistical parameters for radioactive elements were calculated. The separation of anomaly populations was done on the basis of distribution around mean value, that is, the resulting mean, mean + 1SD, mean + 2SD, and mean + 3SD were assumed to equal to background, threshold value, the possible anomaly and the probable anomaly, respectively. In the end, representative maps of anomalies and separation of anomaly populations from the background were presented based on classical statistical calculations.

Petrology of Intrusive Bodies of Azizabad-Tinamo Area in the South of Songour, Iran

In terms of structural divisions of the Iran’s earth crust, the studied area is considered as a part of the Sanandaj-Sirjan structural zone and Zagros Thrust. In this area, there are two gabbroic-dioritic and syenitic igneous intrusive bodies. The host rocks of these intrusive bodies are upper Cretaceous limestones and formed by contactmetamorphism at the contact zone between hornfels rocks and skarn. Field and geochemical datasets represent that all various rocks within these intrusive bodies have been originated from the same magma. The process of fractional crystallization and probably a small amount of contamination and assimilation has also played a role in the evolution of parent magma. Generally, these magmas are sub-alkaline and lie in themagmatic range of tholeiitic and calc-alkaline series. Samples investigated are metaluminous and peralkaline.

The Function of Education in Codification of Radif in Iranian Dastgahi Music

The goal of this research is to investigate the ideas that functioned in shaping thought of Radif in Iranian Dastgahi music. In this regard by preparing the reasons, we pay attention to the function of education in codification of Radif. Although Iranian traditional music has long history but its codification to seven Dastgah-s and five Avaz-es in the format of Radif is attributed to Qajar Dynasty in the 19th century. In this transformation, Mirza abdollah, Tar-Player of the Nasser al-Din Shah Period, has played an important role in final codification of Radif. Due to the truth that the past masters scrimped in music education, and Mirza abdollah had encountered with problems to learn music, hence he has mostly cared about music education in adulthood, and it is probable that one of the reasons in collecting Gusheh-s （approximately a small piece of the Iranian Dastgahi music） and organizing them into coherent sets was making simplicity for the students to learn. Furthermore, masters who seriously and continuously have taught after Mirza abdollah, left a narration （version） of Radif. On the other hand, definite patterns in placement of Gusheh-s and phrases of the Radif have been organized in a manner that makes educational function for it.
