From fraud detection to speech recognition,including price prediction,Machine Learning(ML)applications are manifold and can significantly improve different ***,machine learning models are vulnerable and are exposed to different security and privacy ***,these issues should be addressed while using ML models to preserve the security and privacy of the data *** is a need to secure ML models,especially in the training phase to preserve the privacy of the training datasets and to minimise the information *** this paper,we present an overview of ML threats and vulnerabilities,and we highlight current progress in the research works proposing defence techniques againstML security and privacy *** relevant background for the different attacks occurring in both the training and testing/inferring phases is introduced before presenting a detailed overview of Membership Inference Attacks(MIA)and the related *** this paper,we introduce a countermeasure against membership inference attacks(MIA)on Conventional Neural Networks(CNN)based on dropout and L2 *** experimental analysis,we demonstrate that this defence technique can mitigate the risks of MIA attacks while ensuring an acceptable accuracy of the ***,using CNN model training on two datasets CIFAR-10 and CIFAR-100,we empirically verify the ability of our defence strategy to decrease the impact of MIA on our model and we compare results of five different ***,we present a solution to achieve a trade-off between the performance of themodel and the mitigation of MIA attack.

Multiprocessor System on Chip (MPSoC) technology presents an interesting solution to reduce the computational time of complex applications such as multimedia applications. Implementing the new High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC/h.265) codec on the MPSoC architecture becomes an interesting research point that can reduce its algorithmic complexity and resolve the real time constraints. The implementation consists of a set of steps that compose the Co-design flow of an embedded system design process. One of the first anf key steps of a Co-design flow is the modeling phase which allows designers to make best architectural choices in order to meet user requirements and platform constraints. Multimedia applications such as HEVC decoder are complex applications that demand increasing degrees of agility and flexibility. These applications are usually modeling by dataflow techniques. Several extensions with several schedules techniques of dataflow model of computation have been proposed to support dynamic behavior changes while preserving static analyzability. In this paper, the HEVC/h.265 video decoder is modeled with SADF based FSM in order to solve problems of placing and scheduling this application on an embedded architecture. In the modeling step, a high-level performance analysis is performed to find an optimal balance between the decoding efficiency and the implementation cost, thereby reducing the complexity of the system. The case study in this case works with the HEVC/h.265 decoder that runs on the Xilinx Zedboard platform, which offers a real environment of experimentation.

The authors will focus on the study of the design of Multiprocessor Systems on Chip （MPSoC）, specifically in the context of improving the performance of applications located on the MPSoC architecture. The objective of this research is to study the problems of transition from a pure software implementation for an embodiment admitting one or more hardware components and to develop a methodology for automatic generation of migration of a software task into a hardware component in MPSoC. The transformation of a software task into a hardware task led to many changes, hardware part （connection, the requirement of an interrupt controller...）, software part （at least one task, I/O （I/O）, synchronization...） and an architectural point of view, the remarkable aspects of data storage. The experiment is done on the MJPEG decoder to illustrate the effectiveness of the authors＇ tool for automatic generation of migration.

The aim of this study is to map the areas exposed to water erosion risks in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco around the Hassan-I *** methodology is based on the analysis of the water power index(WPI)as a hydrological parameter,the vegetation cover,and the litho-logical *** WPI was derived from a Digital Elevation Model(DEM)and the litho-logical units and vegetation cover were derived from Advanced Land Imager sensor on the Earth Observing-1 satellite *** image was corrected from radiometric and atmospheric effects,and geometrically rectified using a DEM and grounds control *** variables were integrated in a Geographical Information Systems environment,and Multi-Criteria Analyses were used to derive the water erosion risks map pointing out the most exposed areas requiring the implementation of suitable conservation *** validation of the obtained results shows the simplicity and the potential of this approach for water erosion risks mapping.

This paper presents a vision-based system for recognizing when elderly adults fall.A fall is characterized by shape deformation and high *** represent shape variation using three features,the aspect ratio of the bounding box,the orientation of an ellipse representing the body,and the aspect ratio of the projection *** motion variation,we extract several features from three blocks corresponding to the head,center of the body,and feet using optical *** each block,we compute the speed and the direction of *** activity is represented by a feature vector constructed from variations in shape and motion features for a set of frames.A support vector machine is used to classify fall and non-fall *** on three different datasets show the effectiveness of our proposed method.

This study focuses on modeling the effects of deep hole traps, mainly the effect of the substrate（backgating effect） in a GaAs transistor MESFT. This effect is explained by the existence, at the interface, of a space charge zone. Any modulation in this area leads to response levels trapping the holes therein to the operating temperature. We subsequently developed a model treating the channel substrate interface as an N–P junction, allowing us to deduce the time dependence of the component parameters of the total resistance R ds, the pinch-off voltage V P, channel resistance, fully open R co and the parasitic series resistance R S to bind the effect trap holes H1and H0. When compared with the experimental results, the values of the R DS（t S/ model for both traps show that there is an agreement between theory and experiment; it has inferred parameter traps, namely the density and the time constant of the trap. This means that a space charge region exists at the channel–substrate interface and that the properties can be approximated to an N–P junction.

In this paper, a local model network H-infinity control is proposed for CE-150 helicopter stabilization. The proposed strategy capitalizes on recent developments on H-infinity control and its promising results in robust stabilization of plants under unstructured uncertainties. CE-150 helicopters are known for their varying operating conditions along with external disturbances. Therefore, local model networks are introduced for their adaptive feature and since they provide a powerful combination of fuzzy logic and conventional linear control techniques to control nonlinear systems without the added computational burden of soft-computing techniques. Using the fact that the system can be linearized at different operating points, a mixed sensitivity H-infinity controller is designed for the linearized system, and combined within a network to make transitions between them. The proposed control structure ensures robustness, decoupling of the system dynamics while achieving good performance. A comparison is carried-out against the well-known proportional-integral-derivative （PID） control technique. Results are presented to illustrate the controller＇s performance in various operating conditions.

Alteration minerals and silicification are typically associated with a variety of ore mineralizations and could be detected using multispectral remote sensing sensors as indicators for mineral *** this investigation,the Visible Near-Infra-Red(VNIR),Short-Wave Infra-Red(SWIR),and Thermal Infra-Red(TIR)bands of the ASTER satellite sensor derived layers were fused to detect alteration minerals and silicification in east the Kerdous inlier for cupriferous mineralization *** image processing techniques were executed in the present investigation,namely,Band Ratio(BR),Selective Principal Component Analysis(SPCA)and Constrained Energy Minimization(CEM)***,the BR and SPCA processing results revealed several alteration zones,including argillic,phyllic,dolomitization and silicification as well as iron oxides and ***,these zones were mapped at sub-pixel level using the CEM ***,kaolinite,dolomite,illite,muscovite,montmorillonite,topaz and hematite were revealed displaying a significant distribution in relation with the eastern Amlen region lithological units and previously detected mineral potential zones using HyMap imaging ***,a close spatial association between iron oxides and hydroxide minerals,argillic,and phyllic alteration was detected,as well as a strong silicification was detected around doleritic dykes unit in Jbel Lkest area.A weighted overlay approach was used in the integration of hydrothermal alteration minerals and silicification,which allowed the elaboration of a new mineral alteration map of study area with five alteration *** and the various employed processing techniques allowed a practical and cost effective mapping of alteration features,which corroborates well with field survey and X-ray diffraction ***,ASTER data and the employed processing techniques offers a practical approach for mineral prospection in comparable settings.

Correlation between electrical conductivity–optical band gap energy and precursor molarities ultrasonic spray deposition of ZnO thin films

ZnO thin films were deposited using the simple, flexible and cost-effective spray ultrasonic technique at different precursor molarities values. The films were deposited on a glass substrate at 350℃. This paper is to present a new approach to the description of correlation between electrical conductivity and optical gap energy with precursor molarity of ZnO thin films. The ZnO films exhibit higher electrical n-type semiconductors, whose band gap energy increased from 3.08 to 3.37 eV with an increasing of precursor molarity of 0.05 to 0.1 M. The maximum value of electrical conductivity of the films is 7.96 （***）-1 obtained in the ZnO thin film for precursor molarity 0.125 M. The correlation between the electrical and the optical properties with the precursor molarity suggests that the electrical conductivity of the films is predominantly influenced by the band gap energy and the precursor molarity. The measurement of the electrical conductivity of the films with correlation is equal to the experimental with the error is about 1% in the higher conductivity.
