Nowadays,smart buildings rely on Internet of things(loT)technology derived from the cloud and fog computing paradigms to coordinate and collaborate between connected objects.Fog is characterized by low latency with a wider spread and geographically distributed nodes to support mobility,real-time interaction,and location-based services.To provide optimum quality of user life in moderm buildings,we rely on a holistic Framework,designed in a way that decreases latency and improves energy saving and services efficiency with different capabilities.Discrete EVent system Specification(DEVS)is a formalism used to describe simulation models in a modular way.In this work,the sub-models of connected objects in the building are accurately and independently designed,and after installing them together,we easily get an integrated model which is subject to the fog computing Framework.Simulation results show that this new approach significantly,improves energy efficiency of buildings and reduces latency.Additionally,with DEVS,we can easily add or remove sub-models to or from the overall model,allowing us to continually improve our designs.

The multi-sensors fusion refers to the synergistic combination of sensory data from multiple sensors to provide more accurate and reliable information. The potential benefits of the Fusion are multi-sensors’ redundancy and extra information acquired. The fusion of redundant information can reduce the overall uncertainty and thus helps to provide information specified more precisely. Several sensors providing redundant information can also be used to increase reliability in the case of error, omission or failure of sensors. The combination operators are exponential and are more complex in terms of calculation;the Dempster-Shafer operator is exponential for more than three (3) information sources?[1] [2]. Our work focuses on the definition of another formulation of this operation, and puts it in a matrix form to illuminate the computational complexity, more precision guaranty and a minimal execution time. We propose to use each information source in a form of a matrix, which contains 0 value in lines that do not contain the masses (m(Ai) = 0) or once m(Ai) is not null (m(Ai) ≠ 0). The use of this expressed matrix attempts to ameliorate Dempster-Shafer operator via initialing either a criterion or criteria sources’ solution, increasing the efficiency of the Dempster-Shafer operator and facilitates the combination among the sources. We evaluate our approach by conducting a case study for showing the effectiveness of this matrix.

Comparative Analysis of MRI Diagnosis and Multislice CT in the Diagnosis of Soft Tissue Tumors in Limbs

The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the diagnostic applications of multisliecs spiral computed tomography(MSCT)and diffusively-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in soft tissue tumors of extremities.A total of 104 patients with primary soft tissue tumors of limbs were selected for MSCT and MRI examination.MSCT values of various tumor types were compared during CT examination.In MRI detection,the diffusion sensitivity factor(b)of diffuse-weighted MRI was 0.500 s/mm2 to avoid as much as possible the bleeding,necrosis,scar and calcification heterogeneity components during operation.The maximum interest point was selected to observe the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)between benign and malignant tumors and muscle tissue.Results showed that among 104 patients,36 of patients were malignant and 68 of patients were benign.MSCT examination was consistent with pathology in 45 cases and MRI in 87 cases.In addition,the 59 of patients in MSCT examination and the 17 of patients in MRI were qualitative error and uncertainty.Soft tissue tumors on MSCT showed a low-density mass,and lipoma and cyst were specific.In MRI examination,T1WI and T2WI were significantly different in different types of tumors,while ADC values of malignant tumors were significantly lower than those of benign tumors and muscle tissues(P0.05).Therefore,MSCT can clearly show the soft tissue tumor lesions of the limbs and identify the relationship between them and the surrounding tissues.However,MSCT cannot make accurate characterization.MRI diffusivity weighted imaging can better differentiate benign from malignant and infer the histological origin of lesions.The detection level of MRI was significantly higher than that of CT,which was more consistent with pathology.Therefore,in the preoperative diagnosis of soft tissue tumors in limbs,MRI diffused-weighted imaging should be the first choice.

Objective: Our aim was to determine the effectiveness, feasibility, and necessary cultural adaptations of evidence-based interventions directed at tobacco use, unhealthy diet, and physical inactivity in adults and children in three different sectors: workplace, neighborhood and schools. Materials and Methods: We conducted in Sousse, Tunisia an interventional study through a quasi-experimental design (pre-post with intervention and control groups) to prevent non communicable disease risk factors. The intervention group included different settings and pre and post assessment concerned independent groups (schools with 1929 and 2170 participants, workplaces with 914 and 1098 participants and community with 940 and 1001 participants respectively at pre and post assessment). It was located in the delegation of Sousse Jawhara and Sousse Erriadh. The control group with similar settings (schools with 2074 and 2105 participants, workplaces with 861 and 1015 and community with 940 and 976 participants respectively at pre and post assessment) was located in the delegation of Msaken from the region of Sousse. Results: Tobacco use decreased among neighborhood (26.2% to 23.2%, p = 0.13) workplace (39.2% to 37.5%, p = 0.43) and schools (5.7% to 4.8%, p = 0.19) participants. In control group, it increased significantly in schools and neighborhood. Participants who consumed five fruits and vegetables daily increased significantly in all settings in intervention group (from 30% to 33.2% in schools, 47.5% to 52.1% in workplace and 39.4% to 58.4% in neighborhood). However in control group it increased only in schools and neighborhood. An improvement in physical activity practice was seen both in intervention and control group among adults participants but not in schools. Conclusion: The “Together in Health” project for the prevention of risk factors for NCD is an example of a loco-regional initiative. Such initiatives can only be beneficial with a structure organized by the government.
