Assisted natural remediation(ANR)has been highlighted as a promising,less expensive,and environmentally friendly solution to remediate soil contaminated with heavy *** tested the effects of three amendments(10%compost,C;5 or 15%phosphate sludge,PS5 and PS15;and 5 or 15%marble waste,MW5 and MW15)in combination with microorganism inoculation(rhizobacteria consortium alone,mycorrhizae alone,and the two incombination)on alfalfa in contaminated *** concentrations of Zn,Cu,and Pb were measured,along with proline and malondialdehyde *** microbiological and physicochemical properties of the mining soil were *** of the amendments allowed germination and promoted *** with the rhizobacteria consortium and/or mycorrhizae stimulated plant *** and MW stimulated the production of *** of alfalfa with the rhizobacteria-mycorrhizae mixture and the application of MW allowed the safe cultivation of the legume,as shown by the low concentrations of metals in plant *** and Pb concentrations were below the limits recommended for animal grazing and accumulated essentially in *** analyses showed the positive effect of the amendments on the soil physicochemical *** treatments increased soil p H(around 7),total organic carbon,and assimilable phosphorus ***,an important decrease in soluble heavy metals concentrations was ***,our findings revealed that the applied treatments reduced the risk of metal-polluted soils limiting plant *** ANR has great potential for success in the restoration of polymetallic and acidic mining soils using the interaction between alfalfa,microorganisms,and organomineral amendments.

We propose the superconnection formalism to construct the off-shell BRST-VSUSY superalgebra for D = 4 BF theories. The method is based on the natural introduction of physical fields as well as auxiliary fields via superconnections and their associated supercurvatures defined on a superspace. We also give a prescription to build the off-shell BRST-VSUSY exact quantum action.

We discuss the connection between anyons (particles with fractional statistics) living on a one-dimensional lattice and slq(2) algebra. We assign to each site-anyon field, then we demand the anyonic fields to be noncommuting objects in agreement with the Chern–Simons picture of anyons. We show how the anyonic algebra can emerge from these noncommuting objects. Starting from the emerged algebra we build the slq(2) algebra at q roots of unity.

Multilayer transition in a spin-1 Blume Capel model with RKKY interaction and quantum transverse anisotropy

Using mean-field theory, we have studied the effect of quantum transverse anisotropies with RKKY interaction on the multi-layer transition and magnetic properties of the spin-1 Blume-Capel model of a system formed by two magnetic multi-layer materials, of different thicknesses, separated by a non-magnetic spacer of thickness M. It is found that the multilayer magnetic order-disorder transition temperature depends strongly on the value of the transverse anisotropy. The multilayer transition temperature decreases when increasing the transverse anisotropy. Furthermore, there exists a critical quantum transverse anisotropy △xL beyond which the separate transitions occur in the two magnetic layers. The critical transverse anisotropy AxL decreases （increases） on increasing the non-magnetic spacer of thickness M （on increasing the crystal field）, and AxL undergoes oscillations as a function of the Fermi level.

A new colorimetric sensor based-azo dye for Cu^2+ detection was synthesized and characterized by FTIR and NMR spectroscopies. The results showed that the azo dye had a high selective and sensitive recognition toward Cu^2+. The solution containing the sensor changed color from pink to pale yellow with a hypsochromic shift in the presence of Cu^2+. The sensor selectivity and sensitivity toward Cu^2+ ions were investigated by colorimetry and UV-Vis spectroscopy. For practical applications, a cellulosic textile test strip for high-selectivity detection of Cu^2+ ions in aqueous solution was developed using the synthesized azo dye as chromogenic chemosensor molecule, while using a solid cellulose textile as a substrate. As a result, a spectacular color change of the test strip was observed do pending on the amount of copper ions in contact with the strip, which allows an estimation of Cu^2+ concentration by naked eye.

Radial Hahn Moment Invariants for 2D and 3D Image Recognition

Recently, orthogonal moments have become efficient tools for two-dimensional and three-dimensional（2D and 3D） image not only in pattern recognition, image vision, but also in image processing and applications engineering. Yet, there is still a major difficulty in 3D rotation invariants. In this paper, we propose new sets of invariants for 2D and 3D rotation, scaling and translation based on orthogonal radial Hahn moments. We also present theoretical mathematics to derive them. Thus, this paper introduces in the first case new 2D radial Hahn moments based on polar representation of an object by one-dimensional orthogonal discrete Hahn polynomials, and a circular function. In the second case, we present new 3D radial Hahn moments using a spherical representation of volumetric image by one-dimensional orthogonal discrete Hahn polynomials and a spherical function. Further 2D and 3D invariants are derived from the proposed 2D and 3D radial Hahn moments respectively, which appear as the third case. In order to test the proposed approach, we have resolved three issues： the image reconstruction, the invariance of rotation, scaling and translation, and the pattern recognition. The result of experiments show that the Hahn moments have done better than the Krawtchouk moments, with and without noise. Simultaneously, the mentioned reconstruction converges quickly to the original image using 2D and 3D radial Hahn moments, and the test images are clearly recognized from a set of images that are available in COIL-20 database for 2D image, and Princeton shape benchmark（PSB） database for 3D image.

Lupus Nephritis Class II: A Challenging Entity

Most of the literature focused on the proliferative forms of the lupic Glomerulonephritis. Clinicians are increasingly confronted with cases of lupic nephropathy purely mesangial (class II). The aim of our study is to describe the mode of presentation of the class II Lupus nephropathy, evaluate its evolutionary profile, and investigate possible risk factors for therapeutic misresponse, relapse or histological transformation. This is a retrospective descriptive and analytical study conducted in nephrology depratement at the Hassan II university hospital Fez from January 2009 until September 2018. We included 20 patients. The average age was 33.8 ± 7.25 years [22 - 50 years]. Nephropathy was inaugurated in half of the cases. The mean time of onset of nephropathy in relation to the lupic disease was 36.7 ± 45.4 months [1 - 144 months]. The main reason for consultation was non-nephrotic proteinuria (65%). Renal failure revealed diagnosis in three patients. All patients had a positive immunologic assessment. 90% of our patients received oral corticosteroid therapy with immunosuppressive therapy in 3 cases. Remission has been noted in all of our patients. After an average follow-up period of 39 ± 23 months [6 - 92 months], 45% relapsed. A second biopsy was performed in 80% of patients showing histologic transformation in four patients, requiring immunosuppressive therapy. The analytical study showed that the occurrence of relapse was significantly related to the presence of a known Lupus and its seniority. Proteinuria at 12 months was also significantly higher in the relapsed group. One patient died as a result of neurological complications. Another has Evolved into chronic end stage renal failure and has been put on hemodialysis.

Staphylococcal pleuropulmonary disease (SPP) is the localization of pathogenic staphylococcal disease in the lung and pleura and its general haematogenic consequences. This location is not primary, but follows a primary skin or mucous infection that may go unnoticed. This is a very rare phenomenon in neonatology and in the various literature reviews. Through our observation we report the clinical diagnosis of a newborn 13-day age with pleuro-pulmonary staphyloccocia point of departure cutaneous, thus the paraclinical explorations performed in our patient therapeutic management and evolutionary profile after a 3-month decline. Note that the problem of resistance of staphylococci to different antibiotics is currently a real public health problem making the choice of treatment very difficult for the clinician.

Epidemic to Different Strains of SERRATIA: Experience of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: About 30 Cases

Serratia is an opportunistic pathogenic bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, occasionally responsible for epidemics of nosocomial infections in critical departments;in particular in neonatal intensive care units Enterobacteriaceae form a large family of Gram-negative bacteria, which cause diseases of highly variable severity, due to distinct pathogenic mechanisms. This family is heterogeneous as it consists of about 30 genera of bacteria and more than 100 species. However, all these germs have in common their preferential location in the digestive system, some being part of the normal flora although they are also present in the environment. Several metabolic processes characterize this bacterial family. These include the ability to reduce nitrate to nitrite (for energy generation), ferment glucose, lack cytochrome oxidase, be aerobic or anaerobic, motile or immobile, … Enterobacteriaceae constitute more than 80% of the germs isolated in the laboratory: Escherichia, Salmonella, Shigella, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Proteus, Morganella and Yersinia are the rods most often found. Regarding nosocomial infection to Serratia, this bacterium colonizes the respiratory, digestive and urinary systems of patients, mainly responsible for bacteremia, infections of the lower respiratory tract, urinary and skin infections. Through our work, we report the epidemic experienced in the neonatal intensive care unit MOHAMMED VI university hospital, mother-child hospital MARRAKECH MOROCCO for three months from December at February 2023 interesting 30 newborns whose clinical presentation was different, the positive diagnosis was based on blood and geographical samples taken by the bacteriology department to isolate the offending germs, the therapeutic management of our patients consisted essentially of various hygiene measures in association with dual antibiotic therapy based on meropenem and amikacin. Pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome PIMS is a new entity of systemic inflammatory disease in children that appeared in the epidemic context of COVID-19 infection in April 2020. The pathophysiological mechanisms of PIMS are poorly understood and the hypothesis of a maladaptive hyperactive immune response, notably involving cytokines, is described in the literature. In our study, we report our experience regarding the clinical presentation, diagnosis, management and outcome of patients who presented with pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome post COVID-19.
