Lightweight deep convolutional neural networks(CNNs)present a good solution to achieve fast and accurate image-guided diagnostic procedures of COVID-19 patients.Recently,advantages of portable Ultrasound(US)imaging such as simplicity and safe procedures have attracted many radiologists for scanning suspected COVID-19 cases.In this paper,a new framework of lightweight deep learning classifiers,namely COVID-LWNet is proposed to identify COVID-19 and pneumonia abnormalities in US images.Compared to traditional deep learning models,lightweight CNNs showed significant performance of real-time vision applications by using mobile devices with limited hardware resources.Four main lightweight deep learning models,namely MobileNets,ShuffleNets,MENet and MnasNet have been proposed to identify the health status of lungs using US images.Public image dataset(POCUS)was used to validate our proposed COVID-LWNet framework successfully.Three classes of infectious COVID-19,bacterial pneumonia,and the healthy lung were investigated in this study.The results showed that the performance of our proposed MnasNet classifier achieved the best accuracy score and shortest training time of 99.0%and 647.0 s,respectively.This paper demonstrates the feasibility of using our proposed COVID-LWNet framework as a new mobilebased radiological tool for clinical diagnosis of COVID-19 and other lung diseases.

Smart precision agriculture utilizes modern information and wireless communication technologies to achieve challenging agricultural processes.Therefore,Internet of Things(IoT)technology can be applied to monitor and detect harmful insect pests such as red palm weevils(RPWs)in the farms of date palm trees.In this paper,we propose a new IoT-based framework for early sound detection of RPWs using fine-tuned transfer learning classifier,namely InceptionResNet-V2.The sound sensors,namely TreeVibes devices are carefully mounted on each palm trunk to setup wireless sensor networks in the farm.Palm trees are labeled based on the sensor node number to identify the infested cases.Then,the acquired audio signals are sent to a cloud server for further on-line analysis by our fine-tuned deep transfer learning model,i.e.,InceptionResNet-V2.The proposed infestation classifier has been successfully validated on the public TreeVibes database.It includes total short recordings of 1754 samples,such that the clean and infested signals are 1754 and 731 samples,respectively.Compared to other deep learning models in the literature,our proposed InceptionResNet-V2 classifier achieved the best performance on the public database of TreeVibes audio recordings.The resulted classification accuracy score was 97.18%.Using 10-fold cross validation,the fine-tuned InceptionResNet-V2 achieved the best average accuracy score and standard deviation of 94.53%and±1.69,respectively.Applying the proposed intelligent IoT-aided detection system of RPWs in date palm farms is the main prospect of this research work.

The present paper aims to develop the Kuhn-Tucker and Fritz John criteria for saddle point optimality of interval-valued nonlinear programming problem.To achieve the study objective,we have proposed the definition of minimizer and maximizer of an interval-valued non-linear programming problem.Also,we have introduced the interval-valued Fritz-John and Kuhn Tucker saddle point problems.After that,we have established both the necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of an interval-valued non-linear minimization problem.Next,we have shown that both the saddle point conditions(Fritz-John and Kuhn-Tucker)are sufficient without any convexity requirements.Then with the convexity requirements,we have established that these saddle point optimality criteria are the necessary conditions for optimality of an interval-valued non-linear programming with real-valued constraints.Here,all the results are derived with the help of interval order relations.Finally,we illustrate all the results with the help of a numerical example.

Effect of the Spin-Orbit Interaction (Heisenberg XYZ Model) on Partial Entangled Quantum Network

Dzyaloshiniskii-Moriya (DM) interaction in three directions (Dx, Dy and Dz) is used to generate entangled network from partially entangled states in the presence of the spin-orbit coupling. The effect of the spin coupling on the entanglement between any two nodes of the network is investigated. The entanglement is quantified using Woottores concurrence method. It is shown that the entanglement decays as the coupling increases. For larger values of the spin coupling, the entanglement oscillates within finite bounds. For the initially entangled channels, the upper bound does not exceed its initial value, whereas the entanglement reaches its maximum value for the channels generated via indirect interaction.

Elemental analysis of some Egyptian ores and industrial iron samples by neutron activation analysis

Elemental analysis of iron ore samples and first industrial iron production prepared by the Egyptian Iron and Steel Company of Helwan near Cairo were determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis technique. Five samples from each kind were irradiated for a 48 hours at a thermal neutron flux of 4×10 12 n/(cm 2.s) in the first Egyptian research reactor ET RR 1. Also the Pneumatic irradiation Rabbit system (PIRS) attached to the reactor in Inshass, was used to measure the elements of short life time. The gamma ray spectra were recorded by means of the hyper pure germanium detection system. The concentration percentage values of major, minor and trace elements are presented. The long and short lived isotopes were considered. A comparative study and a discussion on the elemental concentration values are given.

The concentrations of 20 trace elements in several ceramics tiles and ceramic composites used in Egypt were elementally analyzed by neutron activation analysis(NAA) technique. The samples and standard were irradiated with reactor for 4 h(in the Second Research Egyptian Reactor(Et-RR-2)) with thermal neutron flux 5.9×10 13 n/(cm 2·s).The gamma-ray spectra obtained were measured for several times by means of the hyper pure germanium detection system(HPGe). Also a solid state nuclear track detector(SSNTD) CR-39, was used to measure the emanation rate of radon for these samples. The radium concentrations were found to vary from 0.39—3.59 ppm and the emanation rates were found to vary from (0.728—5.688) × 10 -4 kg/(m 2· s).The elemental analysis of the ceramic tiles and ceramic composites have a great importance in assigning the physical properties and in turn the quality of the material.

Phospholipase C from Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacillus cereus:characterization of catalytic activity

Objective:To study characteristics of phospholipases C(PLCs),their importance for producing microorganisms us well us the potential of their use for industrial purposes.Methods:PLC from Bacillus cereus(B.cereus) D101 was selected as an example of Gram-positive PLCs and PLC from Pseudomanas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa) D183 of Gram-negative ones.Enzymes were partially purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by membrane dialysis.Partially purified preparations were used to study effect of different factors on activities as well as in substrate specificity tests which were conducted using a turbidimetric assay method.Results:Maximum activity was at pH 7 and 8 and 40 ℃ for P.aeruginosa PLC,and pH 8-10 and 37 ℃ for B.cereus PLC.Both PLCs were inhibited by Pi at 5 mM or higher,whereas,PLC from B.cereus only was inhibited by EDTA.Activity of P.aeruginosa PLC was not affected by removing Zn^(2+) ions from reaction mixture or their replacement with Ca^(2+),Ba^(2+),Mg^(2+) or Mn^(2+)ions.Vis-a-vis,activity of B.cereus PLC was found to be metal ion dependent PLCs from both isolates were relatively thermostable and showed maximum affinity toward phosphatidylcholine.Sphingomyelin and phosphatidylethanolamine were not good substrates and phosphatidylinositol,phosphatidylserine,phosphatidylglycerol and cardiolipin could be considered nonsubstrates.Conclusions:Human body physiological conditions could favor activity of P.aeruginosa and B.cereus PLCs.These enzymes may participate in phosphate scavenging and virulence of producing isolates but not in autolysis.PLCs from both isolates are potential candidates for industrial use.

Major and trace elemental analysis in milk powder by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES) and instrumental neutron activation analysis(INAA)

Major and trace element in seven different kinds of milk powder were studied. The concentration of 24 elements were determined by ICP OES method, from these elements 9 elements determined by INAA. The determination of trace element contents of foodstuffs, especially milk as daily drink for all peoples age which being a complex food has great importance. The elemental analysis of milk is important both as an indicator of environmental contamination and because milk is a significant pathway for toxic metal intake and a source of essential nutrients for humans. The major elements are Ca, K, Mg, Na, P and S. While trace element are B, Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Li, Mn, Mo, Ni, Sb, Se, Sn, Sr, V, W and Zn. ICP OES technique is shown to be a powerful tool for trace determinations in powder samples. This is shown by its use for analysis of a series of the milk powders mentioned and comparative results of other direct technique such as instrumental neutron activation analysis. Analysis of both standard reference material A 11 milk powder and NBS Orchard leaves for quality accurance had been completed, and used for a relative method calculate. The importance of the major and trace elements to human health was discussed.

Potentiometric electrodes were developed for the rapid determination of proguanil hydrochloride in pure samples, pharmaceutical preparations and spiked serum and urine samples using PVC membrane,screen printed（SPE）, coated wired（CWE）, carbon paste（CPE） and modified carbon paste（MCPE）electrodes based on the ion-exchanger of proguanil with phosphotungestic acid（Pr-PT） as a chemical modifier. The prepared electrodes showed Nernestian slopes of 59.7, 58.1, 58.5, 58.5 and 57.0 for the PVC,SPE, CWE, CPE and MCPE for the proguanil ions in a wide concentration range of 1.0 ＊ 10^-5–1.0 ＊ 10^-2mol L^-1 at 25°C with detection limits of 7.94 ＊ 10^-6, 1.0 ＊ 10^-5, 1.0 ＊ 10^-6, 7.07 ＊ 10^-6 and 2.5 ＊ 10^-6 mol L^-1, respectively. The prepared electrodes exhibited high proguanil selectivity in relation to several inorganic ions and sugars and they could be successfully utilized for its determination in pure solutions, pharmaceutical preparations and serum and urine samples using the direct potentiometry and standard addition methods with very good recovery values.
