Investigation of charge-transfer （CT） complexes of drugs has been recognized as an important phenomenon in understanding of the drug-receptor binding mechanism. Structural, thermal, morpholo-gical and biological behavior of CT complexes formed between drug quinidine （Qui） as a donor and quinol （QL）, picric acid （PA） or dichlorodicyanobenzoquinone （DDQ） as acceptors were reported. The newly synthesized CT complexes have been spectroscopically characterized via elemental analysis;infrared （IR）, Raman, 1H NMR and electronic absorption spectroscopy; powder X-ray diffraction （PXRD）;thermogravimetric （TG） analysis and scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. It was found that the obtained complexes are nanoscale, semi-crystalline particles, thermally stable and spontaneous. The molecular composition of the obtained complexes was determined using spectrophotometric titration method and was found to be 1：1 ratios （donor：acceptor）. Finally, the biological activities of the obtained CT complexes were tested for their antibacterial activities. The results obtained herein are satisfactory for estimation of drug Qui in the pharmaceutical form

Metformin(Met)is a drug developed for the treatment of patients with typeⅡ ***,Met estimation in pharmaceutical formulations and human fluids has gained a growing *** extend requisite data that can be used to assessment of Met quantitatively based on charge-transfer(CT)complexation,the present study describes the synthesis and characterization of CT complexes that formed between drug Met and the organicπ-acceptors picric acid(PA),chloranilic acid(CLA),chloranil(CHL),7,7',8,8'-tetracyanoquinodimethane(TCNQ),and dichlorodicyanobenzoquinone(DDQ).The properties of the formed CT complexes were investigated by elemental,spectral(UV-visible,IR,and Raman spectroscopies),thermal(TG)and morphological(SEM)*** results indicated that the complexation of Met with either PA or CLA acceptors occurs through proton transfer interaction,whereas its complexation with CHL,TCNQ,or DDQ acceptors occurs through n→π*interaction.

Multiple sclerosis(MS)is the most common chronic disease of the central nervous system(CNS)in young adults and represents the first cause of severe handicap,originally non-traumatic(Oh et al.,2018).MS is chara cterized by the infiltration of auto reactive lymphocytes specific to myelin through the blood-brain barrier,which results in the appearance of inflammatory demyelinating lesions caused by the death of the central nervous system myelinating cells,oligodendrocytes(Oh et al.,2018).There is a prevalence sexual with a ratio of three times more affected women than men.

In this article,we suggest a new form of modified Kudryashov’s method(NMK)to study the Dual-mode Sawada Kotera *** know very well that the more the solutions depend on many constants,the easier it is to study the model better by observing the change in the constants and what their impact is on the *** this point of view,we developed the modified Kudryashov method and put it in a general form that contains more than one controllable *** have studied the model in this way and presented figures showing the correctness of what we hoped to reach from the proposed *** addition to the results we reached,they were not sufficient,so we presented an extensive numerical study of this model using the finite differences *** also came up with the local truncation error for the difference scheme is h^(6) k^(2)(1+k^(2)).In addition,the analytical solutions we reached were compared with the numerical solutions,and we presented many forms that show that the results we reached are a clear contribution to this field.

Rain water is an important source to feed the groundwater aquifer, whether directly or by harvesting and recharging. The importance of purification is for reducing the risk of pollutants from recharging runoff rainwater. The use of sand filter as a technique considered not expensive and commonly used for removing contaminants from water and wastewater treatment industries. The methodology used laboratory testing, by designing and constructing pilot plant to experiment the sand filter for purification, and made simulation for the infiltration of storm water through sand filter of 2 meters depth, in order to find the relationship between the depth on one hand, and the removal of suspended solids and fecal coliforms bacteria on the other hand, to know the effective depth that gets the purification. The research results during three days of infiltration show that the sand filter can remove fecal coliforms bacteria at a depth of 150 cm, and provide purified water with a concentration of suspended solids less than 20 mg/liter at a depth of 75 cm.

Objective:To determine the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infections and soil-transmitted helminths(STHs) among primary schoolchildren in El dhayga,Central ***:In this cross-sectional study,three fresh faecal samples were collected from each child,which were examined by direct wet mount,brine flotation,formalin-ether and Kato-Katz *** intensity of each STH infection was expressed as the mean of eggs per gram counts of the three ***:In total,142(90.4%) of 157 children harboured at least one type of intestinal *** lumbricoides,Hymenolepis nana,Entamoeba histolytica and Giardia lamblia were the most common parasites found,with prevalence rates of 32.5%,30.6%,33.1%and 19.7%,*** of these 157 children,29(18.5%) harboured more than two intestinal parasitic *** cases of Schistosoma mansoni or Enterobius vermicularis were identified. Conclusions:The study demonstrates significant burden of intestinal protozoa and STH infections in this part of Sudan and highlights the need for preventive and intervention measures.

Quantum communication provides an enormous advantage over its classical counterpart： security of communications based on the very principles of quantum mechanics. Researchers have proposed several approaches for user identity authentication via entanglement. Unfortunately, these protocols fail because an attacker can capture some of the particles in a transmitted sequence and send what is left to the receiver through a quantum channel. Subsequently, the attacker can restore some of the confidential messages, giving rise to the possibility of information leakage. Here we present a new robust General N user authentication protocol based on N-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger （GHZ） states, which makes eavesdropping detection more effective and secure, as compared to some current authentication protocols. The security analysis of our protocol for various kinds of attacks verifies that it is unconditionally secure, and that an attacker will not obtain any information about the transmitted key. Moreover, as the number of transferred key bits N becomes larger, while the number of users for transmitting the information is increased, the probability of effectively obtaining the transmitted authentication keys is reduced to zero.

Objective: To investigate the protective effects of aqueous seed extracts of fennel"Foeniculum vulgare"(FVE) and caraway "Carum carvi"(CCE) on liver, kidney and reproductive organs in female rats against cadmium chloride(CC) ***: A total of 36 adult female rats were divided into six groups, six in each *** group(fed normal diet), CC-treated group(50 mg CC/kg diet), CCE-treated group(150 mg CCE/kg diet), CCE + CC group, FVE(150 mg/kg diet) and FVE + CC. One month later, all rats were sacrificed and all samples were collected at proestrus ***: The toxic effects of CC were confirmed biochemically by significant increase of serum concentration of liver enzymes(P < 0.05), and creatinine(P < 0.001). Moreover,CC increased significantly the serum level of malondialdehyde(MDA) and decreased the total antioxidant capacity(TAC)(P < 0.001). In addition, serum concentrations of estrogen, progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) and luteinizing hormone(LH)were significantly decreased(P < 0.01). Histopathologically, CC-treated group revealed marked pathological changes in renal, hepatic, ovarian and uterine tissues. All toxic findings observed in liver and kidney with CC treatment were found to be ameliorated markedly after co-treatments with FVE or CCE. Furthermore, co-treatment of FVE with CC improved significantly all studied reproductive parameters(P < 0.01).Conclusions: Both FVE and CCE could be used as efficient treatments for liver and kidney against CC intoxication. Moreover, FVE could be utilized as a potent treatment to protect and improve female fertility from cadmium intoxication.

The impulse response method is a frequently used method to calculate ship seakeeping *** this paper,the restoring and Froude-Krylov calculation is conducted with constant evaluation of panel pressures as well as Gauss quadrature and an analytical *** applied panel grid is coarsened by an adaptive algorithm which is based on a normal vector *** comparison of methods is based on grid convergence studies which are followed by a verification of forces with computational fluid dynamics(CFD)results on the fixed duisburg test case in *** with experimental results in head,oblique and following waves show that all integration methods are *** exact integration is numerically sensitive in some *** quadrature is highly accurate;however,the additional effort is not beneficial since the geometrical accuracy has-stronger influence on the force amplitudes than the integration *** grid coarsening reduces the simulation time and is accurate up to a level,where the panel length comes close the *** added resistance at the investigated Froude number of 0.05 shows higher uncertainty levels,this applies to the results of both the numerical methods and model tests.

This paper presents recent developments towards efficient and reliable methods for roll damping estimation based on numerical simulations as well as model tests using the harmonic excited roll motion(HERM)technique.A newly designed automatic roll damping estimation procedure shows the advantage of a just-in-time post processing of experimental measurement ***-time analysis of the measured roll damping values permits a considerable shortening of the test ***,a large number of investigations can be carried out with relatively manageable effort in order to determine the roll damping behavior of different keel configurations or at operating conditions,e.g.,different sized keels or Froude *** addition,HERM measurement method is applied to investigate the memory *** this purpose,different excitation schemes are introduced and the results are ***,a study of the scale effect on the roll damping properties is conducted,in which experimental and numerical investigations are performed for two scales of a ship ***,a method is developed that significantly reduces the effort of Reynolds average Navier-Stokes(RANS)-based simulations of roll *** reduction of simulation time is achieved by introducing an artificial *** obtained results show that the developed method is very well applicable for numerical as well as in experimental *** the model tests using HERM technique,the model is free and the rudder is used to keep the straight-ahead *** analysis of the numerical and experimental results shows that the influence of the rudder induced force and moment during HERM tests is not negligible and the contribution of the rudder must be taken into account by estimating the roll ***,a new concept is developed to investigate the parametric roll behavior of ships,which allows neglecting the consideration of the complex modelling of free surface waves in the *** the RAN
