In sta.da.d iris recognition systems,a.coopera.ive ima.ing fra.ework is employed tha. includes a.light source with a.nea.-infra.ed wa.elength to revea. iris texture,look-a.d-sta.e constra.nts,a.d a.close dista.ce requirement to the ca.ture *** these conditions a.e rela.ed,the system’s performa.ce significa.tly deteriora.es due to segmenta.ion a.d fea.ure extra.tion ***,a.novel segmenta.ion a.gorithm is proposed to correctly detect the pupil a.d limbus bounda.ies of iris ima.es ca.tured in unconstra.ned ***,the a.gorithm sca.s the whole iris ima.e in the Hue Sa.ura.ion Va.ue(HSV)color spa.e for loca. ma.ima.to detect the sclera.*** ima.e qua.ity is then a.sessed by computing globa. fea.ures in red,green a.d blue(RGB)spa.e,a. noisy ima.es ha.e heterogeneous *** iris ima.es a.e a.cordingly cla.sified into seven ca.egories ba.ed on their globa. RGB *** the cla.sifica.ion process,the ima.es a.e filtered,a.d a.a.tive thresholding is a.plied to enha.ce the globa. contra.t a.d detect the outer iris ***,to cha.a.terize the pupil a.ea.the a.gorithm sca.s the cropped outer ring region for loca. minima.va.ues to identify the da.kest a.ea.in the iris *** experimenta. results show tha. our method outperforms existing segmenta.ion techniques using the UBIRIS.v1 a.d v2 da.a.a.es a.d a.hieved a.segmenta.ion a.cura.y of 99.32 on UBIRIS.v1 a.d a. error ra.e of 1.59 on UBIRIS.v2.

In this study, a.hybrid ma.hine lea.ning (HML)-ba.ed a.proa.h, incorpora.ing Genetic da.a.a.a.ysis (GDa., is proposed to a.cura.ely identify the presence of a.enoma.ous colorecta. polyps (a.RP) which is a.crucia. ea.ly detector of colorecta. ca.cer (CRC). The present study develops a.cla.sifica.ion ensemble model ba.ed on tuned hyperpa.a.eters. Surpa.sing a.cura.y percenta.es of ea.ly detection a.proa.hes used in previous studies, the current method exhibits exceptiona. performa.ce in identifying a.RP a.d dia.nosing CRC, overcoming limita.ions of CRC tra.itiona. methods tha. a.e ba.ed on error-prone ma.ua. exa.ina.ion. Pa.ticula.ly, the method demonstra.es the following CRP identifica.ion a.cura.y da.a. 97.7 ± 1.1, precision: 94.3 ± 5, reca.l: 96.0 ± 3, F1-score: 95.7 ± 4, specificity: 97.3 ± 1.2, a.era.e a.C: 0.97.3 ± 0.02, a.d a.era.e p-va.ue: 0.0425 ± 0.07. The findings underscore the potentia. of this method for ea.ly detection of a.RP a. well a. clinica. use in the development of CRC trea.ment pla.ning stra.egies. The a.va.ta.es of this a.proa.h a.e highly expected to contribute to the prevention a.d reduction of CRC morta.ity.

a.comprehensive a.tion pla. for the conserva.ion of the enda.gered species, the Nubia. ibex in Suda., ca. be developed by ga.ning a.thorough understa.ding of their current sta.us, conserva.ion stra.egy, a.d releva.t la.s a.d regula.ions, a. well a. ra.sing a.a.eness a.out the importa.ce of protecting enda.gered species. The Nubia. ibex is listed a. a. enda.gered species on The Interna.iona. Union for Conserva.ion of Na.ure (IUCN) Red List, highlighting the need for further resea.ch on popula.ion conserva.ion efforts due to insufficient popula.ion da.a. To a.dress this knowledge ga., a.questionna.re wa. conducted with va.ious sta.eholders, including police officers, resea.chers, a.d lecturers, representing a.diverse ra.ge of orga.iza.ions a.d universities. The findings revea.ed tha. hunting is the prima.y fa.tor contributing to enda.germent. Ma.ma.s a.count for 80% of enda.gered species, while reptiles comprise less tha. one-tenth. Resea.ch centers a.e recognized a. the ma.n governing body, a.d 85% of pa.ticipa.ts a.e concerned a.out the declining popula.ion. Hunting a.counted for less tha. ha.f of the threa.s to the ibex popula.ion in Suda., while ha.ita. loss ma.e up a.qua.ter. Mining, clima.e cha.ge, huma. a.tivity, a.d a.riculture were a.so identified a. risks. However, there were no pla.s, stra.egies, procedures, or mea.ures in pla.e to conserve the Nubia. ibex. There were a.so no initia.ives to preserve its biodiversity, a.d a.a.eness a.out enda.gered species wa. la.king. a.though pa.ticipa.ts believed tha. la.s were effective in protecting the ibex, no licenses were issued for its conserva.ion, a.d a.nua. surveys were not conducted. a.ditiona.ly, there were no recorded insta.ces of Mukha.fa. rela.ed to the Nubia. ibex. In light of these findings, we propose va.ious conserva.ion mea.ures to a.dress these cha.lenges.
