Simulation and structural parameter optimization of rotary blade cutting soil based on SPH method

Pre-sowing mechanical tillage in crop fields is a primary task and important aspect of crop *** interaction between the tillage components and the soil plays a crucial role in determining the energy consumption of tillage ***,it is essential to investigate soil-tool interaction mechanisms and optimize tool design for energy savings in soil *** study employed the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics(SPH)method to investigate the soil cutting process of a typical rotary *** article describes the principles and modeling process of the SPH method in *** includes the selection of constitutive models,boundary treatments,and particle conversion.A high-precision soil-tool interaction model was established to analyze the deformation zone of the soil,cutting energy,cutting resistance,and soil particle *** simulation experiments and response surface methodology were used to optimize key design parameters of the rotary blade considering both the reduction in cutting power consumption and the impact on the structural performance of the *** optimal parameters were determined as follows:a bending point included angle of 30°,a side cutting edge bending line direction angle of 51°,and a bending angle of 120°.These parameters resulted in a minimum power consumption of 0.181 kW while meeting the required structural ***,experiments were conducted on field rotary tillage,and the measured power consumption showed a deviation of 7.1%from the simulated power *** optimized power consumption was reduced by 9.52%compared to the initial power consumption,validating the accuracy of the simulation process and the effectiveness of energy savings.

Static Poisson’s ratio(vs)is crucial for determining geomechanical properties in petroleum applications,namely sand *** models have been used to predict vs;however,the published models were limited to specific data ranges with an average absolute percentage relative error(AAPrE)of more than 10%.The published gated recurrent unit(GrU)models do not consider trend analysis to show physical *** this study,we aim to develop a GrU model using trend analysis and three inputs for predicting n s based on a broad range of data,n s(value of 0.1627-0.4492),bulk formation density(rHOB)(0.315-2.994 g/mL),compressional time(DTc)(44.43-186.9 μs/ft),and shear time(DTs)(72.9-341.2μ s/ft).The GrU model was evaluated using different approaches,including statistical error *** GrU model showed the proper trends,and the model data ranges were wider than previous *** GrU model has the largest correlation coefficient(r)of 0.967 and the lowest AAPrE,average percent relative error(APrE),root mean square error(rMSE),and standard deviation(SD)of 3.228%,1.054%,4.389,and 0.013,respectively,compared to other *** GrU model has a high accuracy for the different datasets:training,validation,testing,and the whole datasets with r and AAPrE values were 0.981 and 2.601%,0.966 and 3.274%,0.967 and 3.228%,and 0.977 and 2.861%,*** group error analyses of all inputs show that the GrU model has less than 5% AAPrE for all input ranges,which is superior to other models that have different AAPrE values of more than 10% at various ranges of inputs.

Analysis and Optimization of Operational and Pollutant Attributes of Diesel Engine with CNT-Infused Orange Peel Biodiesel-Diesel Blend Fuel

The current study is performed to find sustainable solutions for the future of transportation and environmental *** conventional methods and experimental design table(L16 Orthogonal Array)techniques have been employed to examine and optimize a diesel-powered engine's operational and pollutant *** L16 Orthogonal Array is obtained through Taguchi's experimental design approach using Minitab 16 *** experimental design incorporated three control variables,namely engine speed,fuel type,and engine load,each with four *** operational parameters,namely brake thermal efficiency(BTE)and brake specific fuel consumption(BSFC),as well as the emission characteristics,including hydrocarbon(HC),carbon monoxide(CO),nitrogen oxide(NO),and smoke emissions,were acquired using the L16 orthogonal array(OA) and subsequently *** utilization of methodologies such as signal-to-noise(S/N) ratio and grey analysis was employed to determine the optimal operational state of the engine to achieve maximum performance while minimizing *** engine's ideal state of operation,in terms of BTE and BSFC,was determined to be at 75% engine load,1000 r/min engine speed,and using 10^(-4)(in vol) carbon nanotube incorporated 20% orange peel biodiesel(OPB20CNT100) blended fuel(A3-B1-C4).The study indicated that engine load significantly influenced BTE and BSFC,with 84.05% and 87.79% contribution factors,*** 25% engine load,1000 r/min,and OPB20CNT100 fuel(A1-B1-C4) CO,smoke,NO,and HC emissions were the *** load affects emissions the *** BSFC increased 3.10% and NO emissions 1.77%.BTE,CO,smoke,and HC emissions decreased by 1.9%,12.29%,47.05%,and 47.22%,respectively,at optimal operating conditions concerning diesel *** study shows that Taguchi-Grey's experimental design optimizes diesel engine operational and pollutant *** outcomes revealed that orange peel biodiesel infused with CNT can replace diesel fuel in a

Freshwater salinization is receiving increasing global attention due to its profound influence on nitrogen cycling in aquatic ecosystems and the accessibility of water ***,a comprehensive understanding of the changes in river salinization and the impacts of salinity on nitrogen cycling in arid and semi-arid regions of China is currently lacking.A meta-analysis was first conducted based on previous investigations and found an intensification in river salinization that altered hydrochemical *** further analyze the impact of salinity on nitrogen metabolism processes,we evaluated rivers with long-term salinity gradients based on in situ *** genes and enzymes that were inhibited generally by salinity,especially those involved in nitrogen fixation and nitrification,showed low abundances in three salinity *** abundance of genes and enzymes with denitrification and dissimilatory nitrate reduction to ammonium functions still maintained a high proportion,especially for denitrification genes/enzymes that were enriched under medium *** bacteria exhibited various relationships with salinity,while dissimilatory nitrate reduction to ammonium bacterium(such as Hydrogenophaga and Curvibacter carrying nirB)were more inhibited by salinity,indicating that diverse denitrifying bacteria could be used to regulate nitrogen *** genera exhibited symbiotic and mutual relationships,and the highest proportion of significant positive correlations of abundant genera was found under medium *** study emphasizes the role of river salinity on environment characteristics and nitrogen transformation rules,and our results are useful for improving the availability of river water resources in arid and semi-arid regions.

Holographic dark energy in non-conserved gravity theory

recently, reconsidering the rastall idea T_(μ;νν)^(v)=α_(,μ) through relativistic thermodynamics gives a new form for the scalar field α which led us to construct modern modified theory of gravity debugged ‘non-conserved gravity theory’ Fazlollahi 2023 Euro. Phys. J. C 83 923. This theory unlike other modified theories of gravity cannot directly explain the current acceleration expansion in the absence of the cosmological constant and or existence of other forms of dark energy. Hence, in this study we have reinvestigated holographic dark energy Ρ_(X)~H^(2) in the non-conserved theory of gravity. In this context, the density and pressure of dark energy depend on the non-conserved term and density of the dust matter field. As shown, due to non-conservation effects on large-scale structures, unlike the original holographic model, our model onsets an acceleration epoch for the current Universe satisfies observations. Moreover, the interaction and viscous scenarios are studied for this model.

Investigating the impact of the universal function of the nuclear proximity potential in heavy-ion fusion cross sections

The fusion barriers and cross sections of 15 colliding systems with 320≤Z_(1)Z_(2)≤1512 are investigated in detail to understand the influence of the universal function of proximity potential formalism in the heavy-ion fusion *** realize this goal,we select three versions of the phenomenological proximity potentials,including Prox.77,Zhang 2013,and Guo 2013,to calculate the nucleus-nucleus *** experimental fusion cross sections for the selected reactions are analyzed using the standard coupled-channel calculations,including couplings to the low-lying 2^(+)and 3^(-)states in the target and *** calculated results show that the universal functions of the Guo 2013 and Prox.77 models provide the lowest and highest fusion barriers,*** addition,it is found that the height of the fusion barriers is enhanced by increasing the mass number of the projectile from light to heavy *** highest sensitivity to the mass number of the projectile belongs to the results of Prox.77.A discussion is also presented on the influence of the universal function on the radial behavior of the interaction potential in the allowed region for overlapping *** results reveal that the best fit to the experimental data of the fusion cross sections for the reactions involving light and medium nuclei is obtained using the universal function of the Zhang 2013 *** the heavier systems,the results of the Guo 2013 model at sub-barrier energies provide a good description of the available data.
