Presently,smart cities play a vital role to enhance the quality of living among human beings in several ways such as online shopping,e-learning,ehealthcare,*** the benefits of advanced technologies,issues are also existed from the transformation of the physical word into digital word,particularly in online social networks(OSN).Cyberbullying(CB)is a major problem in OSN which needs to be addressed by the use of automated natural language processing(NLP)and machine learning(ML)*** article devises a novel search and rescue optimization with machine learning enabled cybersecurity model for online social networks,named SRO-MLCOSN *** presented SRO-MLCOSN model focuses on the identification of CB that occurred in social networking *** SRO-MLCOSN model initially employs Glove technique for word embedding ***,a multiclass-weighted kernel extreme learning machine(M-WKELM)model is utilized for effectual identification and categorization of ***,Search and Rescue Optimization(SRO)algorithm is exploited to fine tune the parameters involved in the M-WKELM *** experimental validation of the SRO-MLCOSN model on the benchmark dataset reported significant outcomes over the other approaches with precision,recall,and F1-score of 96.24%,98.71%,and 97.46%respectively.

Earth resource and environmental monitoring are essential areas that can be used to investigate the environmental conditions and natural resources supporting sustainable policy development,regulatory measures,and their implementation elevating the ***-scale forest fire is considered a major harmful hazard that affects climate change and life over the ***,the early identification of forest fires using automated tools is essential to avoid the spread of fire to a large ***,this paper focuses on the design of automated forest fire detection using a fusion-based deep learning(AFFD-FDL)model for environmental *** AFFDFDL technique involves the design of an entropy-based fusion model for feature *** combination of the handcrafted features using histogram of gradients(HOG)with deep features using SqueezeNet and Inception v3 ***,an optimal extreme learning machine(ELM)based classifier is used to identify the existence of fire or *** order to properly tune the parameters of the ELM model,the oppositional glowworm swarm optimization(OGSO)algorithm is employed and thereby improves the forest fire detection performance.A wide range of simulation analyses takes place on a benchmark dataset and the results are inspected under several *** experimental results highlighted the betterment of the AFFD-FDL technique over the recent state of art techniques.

The Expression of miRNAs in Sudanese Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Khartoum State

Background: MicroRNAs (miRs) are noncoding gene regulators that may have a role as diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Aim: To measure the blood levels of miR-146a, miR-126 and miR-30a in Sudanese SLE patients and to investigate their potential role in disease pathogenesis and utility as biomarkers for SLE. Material and Methods: A total of 48 SLE patients and 20 matched healthy individuals were enrolled in this study. SLE disease activity index (SLEDAI) was assessed. The blood levels of miR-146a, miR-126 and miR-30a were determined by Real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in all participants. Γ-INF and IL-2 were analyzed by ELISA, and CD markers were used in flow cytometry. Results: The mean age of the patients was 31.5 ± 8.5 years with disease duration > 5 years. In SLE patients, the mean blood level fold changes of miR-146a (0.33 ± 0.277;P 0.305) compared to controls. Down regulation of miR-146a increase expression of γ-INF (P 0.05) as no differences between the SLE patients and healthy control. Conclusion: Circulating miR-146a and miR-126 could be a potential noninvasive biomarker in SLE. This study provides an overview of the current state of research on the role of miRNAs in the immune pathogenesis and regulation of SLE. Further studies are needed in miRNAs profiling expressions of SLE diseases.

Bacterial Contamination of Drinking Water in the Internally Displaced People Camps in South Darfur, Sudan

A total of 240 water samples were collected during the three seasons of 2009 from different sites and sources in the internally displaced camps (IDP) including bore holes, hand pumps, dug wells, water points, water reservoir and household storage containers. Samples were investigated using the most probable number method to detected and count the total coliform, faecal coliform and faecal enterococci. Enteric bacteria detected were E. coli, Enterococcus faecalis, Klebsiella, Citrobacter and Enterobacter .House hold containers showed continuous level of contamination by all different bacteria throughout the three seasons. This was followed by hand pumps, both reservoir and boreholes and dug wells. Water points revealed no level of contamination throughout the three seasons.

Incidence and Risk Factors of Acute Kidney Injury in ICU Patients of Omdurman Teaching Hospital

Background: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication in critically ill patients and it is commonly associated with high mortality and morbidity with adverse short and long term outcome. Objectives: The main objective of this study was to determine the incidence of acute kidney injury in ICU patients in Omdurman teaching hospital, and to assess the risk factors associated with the development of acute kidney injury in a critically ill patient. We also intended to find out the impact of acute kidney injury on ICU outcomes. Methods: In this descriptive prospective, cohort hospital-based study, 211 patients were studied and followed up during admission in ICU from November 2019 until July 2020 in Omdurman teaching hospital. Results: 61 patients of the total 211 patients developed renal impairment during their stay in ICU. 64% (39 patients) were males and 36% (22 patients) were female, mean age was 41 ± 5, renal impairment developed after a mean of 5 days of admission and the most common cause was decreased level of consciousness and severe hypotension, sepsis accounting for 40% of the admission. The outcome in ICU showed that the mortality rate was high up to 41% in patients who developed acute kidney injury, Sepsis accounted for over 96% (24 patients) who have passed away. Conclusions: Development of AKI in ICU is an important risk factor for poor outcomes in critically setting. Prevention is the best method for avoiding AKI, with the early identification and recognition of high-risk patients.

猪胸膜肺炎放线杆菌（Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae,APP）能够引发猪传染性胸膜肺炎,对世界范围内的养猪业都造成了较大的经济损失。实验动物是研究疾病发生机制和宿主免疫防御的重要工具,但是小鼠是否可以作为APP感染的实验模型是一个一直以来备受争议的问题。因此,为了确证用小鼠构建APP感染模型的可行性,本研究利用APP5型L20毒株感染ICR小鼠,设立APP感染组和对照组,感染后分别检测临床症状、肺指数、病理变化、菌落计数、对血液和肺泡灌洗液进行血常规分析、并通过ELISA检测血清和肺泡灌洗液中的细胞因子水平。然后选出变化显著的炎性细胞因子TNF-α、IL-1β和IL-17等,对APP感染的小鼠进行细胞因子抑制剂处理,观察其对小鼠炎症反应的影响。此外,利用NLRP3基因缺失鼠构建APP感染模型,以评价IL-1β在APP感染小鼠过程中的作用。实验结果显示,APP感染组ICR小鼠表现出与对照组的极大差异。与对照组小鼠相比,感染组小鼠有更高的临床症状评分、体重变化率和肺泡灌洗液中的蛋白水平,有更多的细菌数目和炎性细胞数,更加严重的肺部病理变化以及更加显著的炎性细胞因子水平,其中TNF-α、IL-1β和IL-17等炎性因子水平变化显著。表明ICR小鼠适合构建APP感染模型。然后,抑制剂Diacerein和SB225002通过抑制炎性细胞因子IL-1β和IL-8,能够有效地减轻临床症状,提高小鼠存活率。表明细胞因子抑制剂能够显著抑制IL-1β和IL-8的产生,从而减轻其引起的炎症反应。与正常鼠相比,NLRP3缺失鼠有更低的临床症状评分,更少的细菌定植量,但却有更高的肺指数和更加显著升高的细胞因子水平。表明基因缺失鼠IL-1β的降低减轻了病理变化,但却加重了炎症反应。本研究确证了ICR小鼠适合构建APP感染模型,在APP感染过程中发生了严重的炎症反应,且IL-1β对炎症反应的发生有重要作用。这对于临床治疗APP感染提供了重要的靶标,奠定了良好的理论基础,具有重要的指导意义。
