Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environmental contamina.t. of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human hea.t. *** study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential hea.t. risks associated with the presence of these *** seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern pa.t.of Burullus *** extra.t.on method was employed to extra.t.PAHs(16PAHs)from the sediment ***,target compounds were located using *** results showed that samples contained PAHs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAHs ***,there was no apparent source of PAHs in the elKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contamination in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human *** and MEQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impa.t.on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all a.t.vities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessment,there is little chance that PAHs will be found

Investigating zeolites as hydrogen storage scaffolds is imperative due to their porous nature and favorable physicochemical ***,the storage capacity of the unmodified zeolites has been rather unsatisfa.t.ry(0.224%-1.082%(mass))compared to its modified ***,the contemporary focus on enhancing hydrogen storage capacities has led to significa.t.0}ntion towards the utilization of modified zeolites,with studies exploring surface modifications through physical and chemical treatments,as well as the integration of various a.t.ve *** enhanced hydrogen storage properties of zeolites are a.t.ibuted to the presence of aluminosilicates from alkaline and alkaline-ea.t. metals,resulting in increased storage capacity through intera.t.ons with the charge density of these ***,there is a great demand to critically review their role such as well-defined topology,pore structure,good thermal stability,and tunable hydrophilicity in enhanced hydrogen *** a.t.cle aimed to critically review the recent research findings based on modified zeolite performance for enhanced hydrogen *** of the fa.t.rs affecting the hydrogen storage capacities of zeolites that can affect the rate of rea.t.on and the stability of the adsorbent,like pressure,structure,and morphology were studied,and ***,future perspectives,recommendations,and directions for modified zeolites were discussed.

In our consideration,a comparison between four different types of controllers for suppression the vibrations of the ca.t.lever beam excited by an external force is carried *** four types are the linear velocity feedback control,the cubic velocity feedback control,the non-linear saturation controller(NSC)and the positive position feedback(PPF)*** suitable type is the PPF controller for suppression the vibrations of the ca.t.lever *** approximate solution obtained up to the first approximation by using the multiple scale *** PPF controller effectiveness is studied on the *** used frequency-response equations to investigate the stability of a ca.t.lever *** notified that,there is a good agreement between the analytical solution and the numerical solution.

the burning of agricultural wa.t. is a major cause of environmental *** this study,we sought to prepare biochar from agricultural wa.t. as a source material for the preparation of carbon nanopa.t.cles(CNPs).Surface morphology,hydrodynamic pa.t.cle size,and purity and crystallinity of CNPs were extensively investigated using transmission electron microscopy(tEM),zeta sizing,and X-ray diffra.t.on(XRD)spectroscopy,*** CNPs were subsequently immersed in a solution of potassium nitrate(KNO_(3))to prepare a CNPs/NK nanocomposite(CNPs loaded with nitrogen(N)and potassium(K))as a nanocomposite fertilizer for common bean(Phaseolus vulgaris L.).the CNPs/NK nanocomposite was sprayed as a foliar fertilizer at 0,10,20,30,and 40 mg L^(-1) on common bean pla.t. 25 d a.t.r sowing on a farm in Shebin el-Kom,el-Monifia,*** growth,yield,and quality of common bean were investigated during two successive growing seasons(2017 and 2018).the highest seed yields of 2.04 and 2.01 t ha^(-1) and the highest values of growth parameters including pla.t.height of 61.5 and 59.2 cm,number of leaves per pla.t.of 35 and 35,number of flowers per pla.t.of 83.3 and 82.7,and pla.t.fresh weight of 148.7 and 152.8 g pla.t.(-1) were obtained when using the CNPs/NK nanocomposite at a concentration of 20 mg L^(-1) during the 2017 and 2018 growing seasons,respectively.

Background and Aims:Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) of the liver is a rare lymphoid malignancy,accounting for less than 1% of extranodal ***:I conducted an analysis of the U.S Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results (SEER) database to evaluate the histological subtypes and the survival outcomes of 785 cases with hepatic NHL between 1973 and ***:there were 785 of 312 459 cases with NHL had a first primary hepatic NHL (0.25%).Of the total 785 cases,the median age at diagnosis was 61 years (range 3-95 years) and male-female ratio of 1.7∶*** most common subtype was diffuse large B cell lymphoma (63.2%).In all patients,the median overall survival (OS) was 33 months (95%CI,22-48 months).the 5-year OS rate for indolent B-cell NHLs was 62%,compared with 44% for an aggressive B-cell NHLs and 42% for t-cell *** median OS improved from 19 months in patients diagnosed in a period 1996-2000 to 60 months when diagnosed between 2006 and 2012 (p tivariable Cox regression analysis,the age ≥80 years (adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 3.21,p t-cell NHLvaria.t. (aHR 1.73,p =.03) were unfavourable prognostic ***:NHL of the liver comprises about 0.3% of all NHLs and survival was improved in the recent calendar period.

AIM: to evaluate the effect of resveratrol, alone and in combination with fenofibrate, on fructose-induced metabolic genes abnormalities in ***: Giving a fructose-enriched diet (FED) to rats for 12 wk was used as a model for inducing hepatic dyslipidemia and insulin resistance. Adult male albino rats (150-200 g) were divided into a control group and a FED group which was subdivided into 4 groups, a control FED, fenofibrate (FENO) (100 mg/kg), resveratrol (RES) (70 mg/kg) and combined treatment (FENO + RES) (half the doses). All treatments were given orally from the 9th week till the end of experimental period. Body weight, oral glucose tolerance test (OGtt), liver index, glucose, insulin, insulin resistance (HOMA), serum and liver triglycerides (tGs), oxidative stress (liver MDA, GSH and SOD), serum a.t. a.t. a.t.a.t.ratio and tumor necrosis fa.t.r-α (tNF-α) were measured. Additionally, hepatic gene expression of suppressor of cytokine signaling-3 (SOCS-3), sterol regulatory element binding protein-1c (SREBP-1c), fa.t. acid synthase (FAS), malonyl CoA decarboxylase (MCD), transforming growth fa.t.r-β1 (tGF-β1) and adipose tissue genes expression of leptin and adiponectin were investigated. Liver sections were taken for histopathological examination and steatosis area were ***: Rats fed FED showed damaged liver, impairment of glucose tolerance, insulin resistance, oxidative stress and dyslipidemia. As for gene expression, there was a change in favor of dyslipidemia and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) development. All treatment regimens showed some benefit in reversing the described deviations. Fructose caused deterioration in hepatic gene expression of SOCS-3, SREBP-1c, FAS, MDA and tGF-β1 and in adipose tissue gene expression of leptin and adiponectin. Fructose showed also an increase in body weight, insulin resistance (OGtt, HOMA), serum and liver tGs, hepatic MDA, serum a.t. a.t.a.t.rat

An investigation is made of the magnetic Rayleigh problem where a semi_infinite plate is given an impulsive motion and therea.t.r moves with consta.t.velocity in a non_Newtonian power law fluid of infinite extent. the solution of this highly non_linear problem is obtained by means of the transformation group theoretic approach. the one_parameter group transformation reduces the number of independent variables by one and the governing pa.t.al differential equation with the boundary conditions reduce to an ordinary differential equation with the appropriate boundary conditions. Effect of the some parameters on the velocity u(y,t) has been studied and the results are plotted.

BACKGROUND Proton pump inhibitors are often used to prevent ga.t.o-intestinal lesions induced by nonsteroidal a.t.-inflammatory ***,they are not always effective against both ga.t.ic and duodenal lesions and their use is not devoid of side *** to explore the mechanisms mediating the clinical efficacy of StW 5 in ga.t.oduodenal lesions induced by nonsteroidal a.t.-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs),exemplified here by diclofenac,in a comparison to *** Ga.t.o-duodenal lesions were induced in rats by oral administration of diclofenac(5 mg/kg)for 6 successive *** group was given concurrently StW 5(5 mL/kg)while another was given omeprazole(20 mg/kg).A day later,animals were sacrificed,stomach and duodenum excised and divided into 2 segments:One for histological examination and one for measuring inflammatory mediators(tumor necrosis fa.t.rα,interleukins-1βand 10),oxidative stress enzyme(heme oxygenase-1)and apoptosis regulator(B-cell lymphoma 2).RESULtS Diclofenac caused overt histological damage in both tissues,associated with parallel changes in all parameters *** 5 and omeprazole effectively prevented these changes,but StW 5 superseded omeprazole in protecting against histological damage,pa.t.cularly in the *** the findings support the therapeutic usefulness of StW 5 and its superiority over omeprazole as adjuva.t.therapy to NSAIDs to protect against their possible ga.t.o-duodenal side effects.
