One of the critical aspects in mine design is slope stability analysis and the determination of stable slopes. In the Chador- malu iron ore mine, one of the most important iron ore mines in central Iran, it was considered vital to perform a comprehensive slope stability analysis. At first, we divided the existing rock hosting pit into six zones and a geotechnical map was prepared. Then, the value of mRmR （mining Rock mass Rating） was determined for each zone. Owing to the fact that the Chador-malu iron ore mine is located in a highly tectonic area and the rock mass completely crushed, the Hoek-Brown failure criterion was found suitable to estimate geo-mechanical parameters. After that, the value of cohesion （c） and friction angle （tp） were calculated for different geotechnical zones and relative graphs and equations were derived as a function of slope height. The stability analyses using numerical and limit equilibrium methods showed that some instability problems might occur by increasing the slope height. Therefore, stable slopes for each geotechnical zone and prepared sections were calculated and presented as a function of slope height.

The fundamental task of mining engineers is to produce more coal at a given level of labour input and material costs, for optimum quality and maximum efficiency. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to automate and mechanize mining operations. mechanization is an objective that can result in significant cost reduction and higher levels of profitability for underground mines. To analyze the potential of mechanization, some important factors such as seam inclination and thickness, geological disturbances, seam floor conditions and roof conditions should be considered. In this study we have used fuzzy logic, membership functions and created fuzzy rule-based methods and considered the ultimate objective： mechanization of mining. As a case study, the mechanization of the Tazare coal seams in Shahroud area of Iran was investigated. The results show a low potential for mechanization in most of the Tazare coal seams.

Grinding is one of the most costly operations in the mechanical breaking and *** of the breakage characteristics and preconditioning is important to increase the grinding *** of the seismic,mechanical and breakage properties of iron oxides are very important parameters for investigating the rock fragmentation by blasting and comminution processes in iron ore *** this paper,at first,geomechanical and seismic properties of the oxide ores(magnetite and hematite)in the Chadormalu iron ore mine were *** results showed that the percentage of magnetite has a direct relationship with uniaxial compressive strength,tensile strength and P and S wave’s velocities and has an inverse relationship with Poisson ratio and ***,to study breakage and preconditioning characteristics in the iron ores,two samples with different magnetite percents were blasted by detonation *** results showed that with higher percentage of magnetite,the number of fractures induced by blasting *** work index and magnetite percent were investigated in the 430 blasts in the *** investigation not only confirmed the small scale blasting results,but also showed that increasing the magnetite percent up to 50%noticeably reduces Bond work index and energy consumption in the grinding ***,the relationship between muck pile fragmentation and magnetite percentage were studied for several blasts that had the same blast pattern parameters and similar geology *** results also confirmed precedents conclusions regarding magnetite percent and preconditioning relationship.

文章对金刚石绳锯的生产效率进行了预测研究,测量了伊朗13个采石场中金刚石绳锯切割碳酸盐石材的性能。从这些采石场的石材荒料中分别选取石材样品用于实验室测试,测定其中石英含量及单轴抗压强度(UCS),发现生产率与对应的石英含量和单轴抗压强度相关。运用多元与单元回归分析评价锯切效率与石材性能的相互关系,通过统计测试验证开发的模型,研究认为运用该模型可有效预测金刚石绳锯切割碳酸盐石材的锯切效率。

This paper describes the influence of joint spacing and joint orientation on the penetration rate of a Tunnel Boring machine （TBm） disc cutter as modeled by the Discrete Element method （DEm）. The input data for the siLmulations were obtained from the sandstone along the AIborz tunnel that is currently being excavated in Iran using a 5.2 m diameter open TBm. Three joint spacings, 150, 200, and 300 mm, were modeled together with seven values of joint orientation; 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90°. The results show that the penetration increases when joint orientation increases from 0° to 75°, but it decreases as the joint orientation increases further from 75° to 90°. This is true for each joint spacing. In addition, for a given joint orientation increasing the joint spacing causes the TBm penetration to decrease. The optimum joint orientation, from the viewpoint of TBm penetration, is about 60-75°.

Pyrolysis of bagasse followed by thermal cracking of tar was carded out at atmospheric pressure using a dual bed reactor. The first bed was used for the pyrolysis and the second bed was used for thermal cracking of tar. Iron fillings were used as the packed bed material in the second bed. The effects of reaction time （20 to 40 rain）, reactor temperature （600 to 900 ℃） and packed bed height （40-100 mm） on the product （char, tar and gas） yield and gas （H2, CO, CO2, CH4, CnHm） composition were studied. Over the ranges of the experimental conditions used, the operating conditions were optimized for pyrolysis temperature around 850 ℃, a reaction time of 30 min and packed bed height of 100 mm, thus we could obtain a gas richer in hydrogen and carbon monoxide and poorer in carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons. It was observed that compared with single bed process, dual bed process increased the gas yield from 0.397 to 0.750 m3/kg and decreased the tar yield from 0.445 to 0.268 g/g while the heating value of the product gas remained almost constant （10-11 m J/m3）.

To investigate the relation of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and Testosterone serum levels with partial deletions in the AZFc region in Iranian oligozoospermia males. material and methods: thirty infertile oligozoospermia and 52 Iranian fertile men included. The hormonal assays were measured by the Radioimmunoassay (RIA). multiplex polymerase chain reaction (m-PCR) using eight sequence-tagged site (STS) markers were measured on the Yq11 chromosome. Results: The mean of FSH and LH levels in all oligozoospermia males were higher than fertile men (p men showed partial deletions (five gr/gr and one b2/b3) with higher level of FSH, LH in their group (p mong Iranian oligozoospermia males, hormonal assay and molecular screening should be advised before considering for ART treatments.
