Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)are specialized bacterial communities inhabiting the root rhizosphere and the secretion of root exudates helps to,regulate the microbial dynamics and their interactions with the *** bacteria viz.,Agrobacterium,Arthobacter,Azospirillum,Bacillus,Burkholderia,Flavobacterium,Pseudomonas,Rhizobium,etc.,play important role in plant growth *** addition,such symbiotic associations of PGPRs in the rhizospheric region also confer protection against several diseases caused by bacterial,fungal and viral *** biocontrol mechanism utilized by PGPR includes direct and indirect mechanisms direct PGPR mechanisms include the production of antibiotic,siderophore,and hydrolytic enzymes,competition for space and nutrients,and quorum sensing whereas,indirect mechanisms include rhizomicrobiome regulation *** of root exudates,phytostimulation through the release of phytohormones viz.,auxin,cytokinin,gibberellic acid,1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate and induction of systemic resistance through expression of antioxidant defense enzymes viz.,phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL),peroxidase(PO),polyphenyloxidases(PPO),superoxide dismutase(SOD),chitinase andβ-*** the suppression of plant diseases potent bio inoculants can be developed by modulating the rhizomicrobiome through rhizospheric *** addition,understandings of different strategies to improve PGPR strains,their competence,colonization efficiency,persistence and its future implications should also be taken into consideration.

Human emotions are considered to be contagious that can be transmitted from one person to another during social ***,interaction with people having excessive negative emotions may make other people *** this aspect into consideration,a SIR nonlinear model is formulated to investigate the transmission dynamics of depression in social *** qualitative analysis of the model,critical value of depression is *** equilibria,*** free and depression state,are obtained and their stability behaviors are *** stability analysis reveals the fact that both the equilibria are locally and globally stable,depending on critical value of *** sensitivity analysis of crucial parameters of critical value of depression is performed to point out the key parameters that can drastically influence the propagation of *** results demonstrate the importance of counselling for depressed persons in order to suppress the growth of depression in social *** model calibration has been done for the annual depression cases of *** results of our study show that individuals will catch major depression disorders more quickly once they get initially(primary)*** this,counselling rate for primary depressed population should be increased.

Objective:To evaluate the ethanol extract of Voacanga grandifolia for hepatoprotective and antioxidant potential against ethanol-induced liver toxicity in ***:Sprague-Dawley rats were administered ethanol(7 g/kg)and then treated with 100 and 200 mg/kg of Voacanga grandifolia *** phytochemical constituents and antioxidant potential of Voacanga grandifolia extract were evaluated by GC-MS and in vitro antioxidant *** indicators for liver damage and pro-apoptotic and antiapoptotic gene expression were determined using biochemical kits,ELISA,and qRT-PCR,***,histopathological study of the liver was ***:GC-MS identified propanoic acid,meso-erythritol,D-pinitol,myo-inositol,and hexadecanoic acid in Voacanga grandifolia *** grandifolia extract(100 and 200 mg/kg)increased the concentration of enzymatic antioxidants while diminishing the levels of inflammatory cytokines and biochemical ***-PCR assay showed that Voacanga grandifolia extracts upregulated antiapoptotic gene expression while downregulating pro-apoptotic gene ***,the plant extract improved the hepatic architecture of ethanol-intoxicated ***:Voacanga grandifolia extract demonstrates hepatoprotective activity against alcohol-induced liver injury in rats and could be a potential hepatoprotective agent.

Shape Controllable Preparation of Submicronic Cadmium Tetrazole-Based Metal-Organic Frameworks via Solvothermal or Microwave-Assisted Methods and Their Photocatalytic Studies

The paper describes the experiments conducted to create shape controllable preparations of submicronic cad- mium tetrazole-based MOFs. In order to prepare the submicron sized blocks and tubes of bis[5-（2-pyridyltetrazo- lato）]diaquacadmium（II） [（2-PTZ）2Cd（H20）2] MOFs both solvothermal and microwave augmented reaction proce- dures have been followed. Cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate, cyanopyridine and sodium azide were used as reactants in both the conditions without any surfactants or modulators. Subsequently, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray crystallographic studies were performed on the prepared MOFs. Examinations using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction of the products made by the microwave method showed formation of bundles of reg- ular submicrotubes, as opposed to the submicron-sized irregular blocks of the Cd-MOF obtained through the sol- vothermal method. The fluorescence peak of the sub-microtube MOF was found at 460 nm while the irregu- lar-blocks emitted at 442 nm indicating a red shift for the former. In addition, the relative intensity of the peak at 460 nm was higher in the former, indicating a decrease in the crystallite size. Band gaps of the MOFs calculated by using the Tauc plots were 2.87 and 2.73 eV, respectively. Their photocatalytic performances using methylene blue under UV-vis irradiation have been investigated.

Effect of Semecarpus anacardium fruits on reproductive function of male albino rats

Aim: To evaluate the effect of an ethanolic extract of Semecarpus anacardium fruits on spermatogenesis in albino rats. Methods: Male albino rats were fed with a 50 % ethanolic extract of Semecarpus anacardium fruit at 100 mg·***-1, 200 mg·kg-1·day-1 and 300 mg·kg-1·day-1 for 60 days. Fertility test was performed after 60 days of treatment. Sperm motility and density were observed in the cauda epididymis. Biochemical and histological analyses of the blood and reproductive organs were done. Recovery of fertility was followed to evaluate the reversibility of drug action. Results: S. anacardium fruit extract administration resulted in spermatogenic arrest in albino rats. The sperm motility and density was reduced significantly. The RBC and WBC counts, haemoglobin, haematocrit, blood sugar and urea were found to be within the normal range in the whole blood. The protein, cholesterol and glycogen in the testes and the fructose in the seminal vesicle were significantly decreased after the treatment. The fruit extract feeding caused marked reduction in the number of primary spermatocytes, secondary spermatocytes and spermatids. The number of mature Leydig cells was also decreased and degenerating cells increased proportionately. Conclusion: 5. anacardium fruit extract causes spermatogenic arrest in albino rats.

In vivo subsite classification and diagnosis of oral cancers using Raman spectroscopy

Oral cancers suffer from poor disease free survival rates due to delayed ***,rapid,objective approaches as adjuncts to visual inspection can help in better management of oral *** spectrosoopy(RS)has shown potential in identification of oral premalignant and malignant conditions and also in the detection of early cancer changes like cancer field ffects(CFE)at buccal mucosa *** differences between different oral subsites have also been reported using *** this study,anatomical differences between subsites and their possible infuence on healthy vs pathological classification were evaluated on 85 oral cancer and 72 healthy *** were acquired from buccal mucosa,lip and tongue in healthy,contralateral(internal healthy control),premalignant and cancer conditions using fiber optic Raman *** spectra indicate predominance of lipids in healthy buccal mucosa,contribution of both lipids and proteins in lip while major dominance of protein in tongue *** healthy to tumor,changes in protein secondary structure,DNA and heme related features were *** component linear discriminant analysis(PC-LDA)followed by leave one out CrOoss-validation(LOOCV)was used for data *** gs indicate buccal mucosa and tongue are distinct entities,while lip misclassifies with both these ***,the diagnostic algorithm for individual subsites gave improved classification efficiencies with respect to the pooled subsites ***,as the pooled subsites model yielded 98%specifcity and 100%sensitivity,this model may be more useful for preliminary screening ***-scale validation studies are a pre requisite before envisaging future clinical applications.

The aim of the present work is to develop rifampicin loaded phospholipid lipospheres containing sulfphobutyl etherβ-cyclodextrin and Vitamin C for inhalation to test their potential for deep lung *** findings of the solid state characterization revealed the amorphous nature of the *** exhibited a better flowability,an aerodynamic diameter in the range of 1.76 to 3.99μ***,the fine particle fraction and emitted dose was found in the range of 68.84–83.73% and 80–93%,***,lipospheres exhibited enhanced/equivalent efficacy in vitro in H37Rv ***,the results show the potential of lipospheres for pulmonary delivery of rifampicin.

A multiwavelength view of a classical T Tauri star CV Cha

Using long-term optical, ultraviolet(UV) and X-ray data, we present a study of a classical T Tauri star CV Cha. The V-band light curve obtained from the All Sky Automated Survey(ASAS) shows short as well as long-term variability. The short-term variability could be due to rotational modulation of CV Cha. We derive the rotational period of 3.714 ± 0.001 d for CV Cha. UV light curves obtained from Swift also show the variations. X-ray light curves from XMM-Newton and Swift do not show any significant short as well as long-term variability. However, the light curve from Chandra appears to be variable, which could be due to the emergence of flaring activities. X-ray spectra from all observations are explained well by the single temperature plasma of 0.95 keV with X-ray luminosity of 1030.4erg s-1in the 0.5–7.5 keV energy band. It appears that variability in optical and UV bands could be due to the presence of both hot and cool spots on the surface, while X-ray emission is dominated by magnetic processes.
