The analytical lower bound of Spectral Efficiency(SE)of downlink transmission of the Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output(Ma-MIMO)system is *** this paper,we derive some novel and approximate mathematical expressions for the lower bound of the SE of a Ma-MIMO with linear precoding schemes,i.e.,Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE)and Zero-Forcing(ZF).For simulation analysis of the SE,we consider three joint users and antenna scheduling algorithms,namely,the semi-orthogonal,random,and distance-based user scheduling algorithms,whereas the antennas are selected based on Maximum Signal to Noise Ratio(MSNR)with scheduled *** channel between the user and the transmitter is assumed to have characteristics of Small Scale Fading(SSF)and Large Scale Fading(LSF)with the Rayleigh fading *** investigate the effect of the variation of transmitting SNR,the number of base station antennas(M),and the radius(R)of the cell area on the *** simulate the downlink transmission of Ma-MIMO and compare the simulation and analytical *** is observed that the trends of variation of both results are similar to the variation of identical factors,and the difference between the simulated and analytical lower bounds of the SE is approximately 1-1.5 *** analytical lower bound is smaller than the simulation result.

The capacity of a massive MIMO cellular network depends on user and antenna selection algorithms,and also on the acquisition of perfect Channel State Information(CSD).Low computational cost algorithms for user and an-tenna selection significantly may enhance the system capacity,as it would consume a smaller bandwidth out of the total bandwidth for downlink *** objective of this paper is to maximize the system sum-rate capacity with efficient user and antenna selection algorithms and linear *** consider in this paper,a slowly fading Rayleigh channel with perfect acquisition of CSI to explore the system sum-rate capacity of *** MIMO *** user selection,we apply three algorithms,namely Semi orthogonal user selection(SUS),Descending Order of SNR-based User Scheduling(DOSUS),and Random User Selection(RUS)*** all the user selection algorithms,the selection of Base Station(BS)antenna is based on the maximum Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)to the selected *** users are characterized by having both Small Scale Fading(SSF)due to slowly fading Rayleigh channel and *** Fading(ISF)due to distances from the base ***,we use linear precoding techniques,such as Zero Forcing(ZF),Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE),.and Maximum Ratio Transmission(MRT)to reduce interferences,thereby improving average system sum-rate *** using SUS,DOSUS,and RUS user selection algorithms with ZF,MMSE,and MRT precoding techniques are *** also analyzed and compared the computational complexity of all the three user selection *** computational complexities of the three algorithms that we achieved in this paper are 0(1)for RUS and DOSUS,and 0(M^2N)for suS which are less than the other conventional user selection methods.

During the last two decades signicant work has been reported in the eld of cursive language’s recognition especially,in the Arabic,the Urdu and the Persian *** unavailability of such work in the Pashto language is because of:the absence of a standard database and of signicant research work that ultimately acts as a big barrier for the research *** slight change in the Pashto characters’shape is an additional challenge for *** paper presents an efcient OCR system for the handwritten Pashto characters based on multi-class enabled support vector machine using manifold feature extraction *** feature extraction techniques include,tools such as zoning feature extractor,discrete cosine transform,discrete wavelet transform,and Gabor lters and histogram of oriented gradients.A hybrid feature map is developed by combining the manifold feature *** research work is performed by developing a medium-sized dataset of handwritten Pashto characters that encapsulate 200 handwritten samples for each 44 characters in the Pashto *** results are generated for the proposed model based on a manifold and hybrid feature *** overall accuracy rates of 63.30%,65.13%,68.55%,68.28%,67.02%and 83%are generated based on a zoning technique,HoGs,Gabor lter,DCT,DWT and hybrid feature maps *** of the proposed model is also tested by comparing its results with a convolution neural network *** convolution neural network-based model generated an accuracy rate of 81.02%smaller than the multi-class support vector *** highest accuracy rate of 83%for the multi-class SVM model based on a hybrid feature map reects the applicability of the proposed model.

This study derives the analytic solutions of boundary layer flows bounded by a shrinking sheet. With the similarity transformations, the partial differential equations are reduced into the ordinary differential equations which are then solved by the homotopy analysis method （HAM）. Two-dimensional and axisymmetric shrinking flow cases are discussed.

Bacterial endophytes are beneficial to their hosts as they can fix nitrogen in the soil and make it available to the *** bacteria also secrete plant growth-promoting hormones to support their host plants under normal as well as stress *** current study aimed to isolate endophytic bacteria from different parts of Calotropis procera,i.e.,roots,stem and leaves of Calotropis procera(Ait.)*** were collected from the Lundkhwar,district Mardan.A total of 12 bacterial strains,i.e.,six from roots,three from the stem and three from the leaves were *** strains were screened for their growth-promoting activity in rice plants because rice shows a quick and easy response to the bioactive compounds present in the culture filtrate(CF)of the potent endophytic *** rice plants were cultivated in pots containing 30 mL of 0.8%w/v water-agar *** pots were placed in a growth chamber,operated at 28±0.3℃ for 14 h(day);and 25±0.3℃ for 10 h(night),at 70%*** the isolated strains,R1,S1,S3,L1,R5 and R6 showed visible growth promotion in rice *** biochemical analysis revealed that the strains were able to produce indole acetic acid(IAA)and flavonoids in higher ***,the strains also produced bioactive compounds that inhibited the growth of Escherichia coli and Aspergillus flavus using the well diffusion *** the results,it was concluded that these strains can secrete potent compounds that can promote the host plant growth and inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and,therefore,can be used as bio-fertilizer and bio-control agents.

An Improved SOI CMOS Technology Based Circuit Technique for Effective Reduction of Standby Subthreshold Leakage

Silicon-on-insulator (SOI) CMOS technology is a very attractive option for implementing digital integrated circuits for low power applications. This paper presents migration of standby subthreshold leakage control technique from a bulk CMOS to SOI CMOS technology. An improved SOI CMOS technology based circuit technique for effective reduction of standby subthreshold leakage power dissipation is proposed in this paper. The proposed technique is validated through design and simulation of a one-bit full adder circuit at a temperature of 27℃, supply voltage, VDD of 0.90 V in 120 nm SOI CMOS technology. Existing standby subthreshold leakage control techniques in CMOS bulk technology are compared with the proposed technique in SOI CMOS technology. Both the proposed and existing techniques are also implemented in SOI CMOS technology and compared. Reduction in standby subthreshold leakage power dissipation by reduction factors of 54x and 45x foraone-bit full adder circuit was achieved using our proposed SOI CMOS technology based circuit technique in comparison with existing techniques such as MTCMOS technique and SCCMOS technique respectively in CMOS bulk technology. Dynamic power dissipation was also reduced significantly by using this proposed SOI CMOS technology based circuit technique. Standby subthreshold leakage power dissipation and dynamic power dissipation were also reduced significantly using the proposed circuit technique in comparison with other existing techniques, when all circuit techniques were implemented in SOI CMOS technology. All simulations were performed using Microwindver 3.1 EDA tool.

In this paper, four new hybrid digital circuit design techniques, namely, hybrid multi-threshold CMOS complete stack technique, hybrid multi-threshold CMOS partial stack technique, hybrid super cutoff complete stack technique and hybrid super cutoff partial stack technique, have been proposed to reduce the subthreshold leakage power dissipation in standby modes. Techniques available in literature are compared with our proposed hybrid circuit design techniques. Performance parameters such as subthreshold leakage power dissipation in active and standby modes, dynamic power dissipation and propagation delay, are compared using existing and proposed hybrid techniques for a two input AND gate. Reduction of subthreshold leakage power dissipation in standby mode is given more importance, in comparison with the other circuit design performance parameters. It is found that there is reduction in subthreshold leakage power dissipation in standby and active modes by 3.5× and 1.15× respectively using the proposed hybrid super cutoff complete stack technique as compared to the existing multi-threshold CMOS (MTCMOS) technique. Also a saving of 2.50× and 1.04× in subthreshold leakage power dissipation in standby and active modes respectively were observed using hybrid super cutoff complete stack technique as compared to the existing super cutoff CMOS (SCCMOS) technique. The proposed hybrid super cutoff stack technique proved to perform better in terms of subthreshold leakage power dissipation in standby mode in comparison with other techniques. Simulation results using Microwind EDA tool in 65 nm CMOS technology is provided in this paper.
