Introduction:Human chemerin is an adipokine that regulates chemotaxis,inflammation,and glucose *** addition,accumulating evidence suggests that chemerin promotes apoptosis,autophagy,and ***,there are no data on its impact on *** current study aimed to analyze the effects of human active Glu^(21)-Ser^(157) chemerin on eryptosis in *** and Methods:Human chemerin 0-2-10-50μg/mL was incubated for 24 h with human erythrocytes(hematocrit 0.4%)obtained from eight healthy *** cytometry-based determination of phospholipid scrambling,reactive oxygen species(ROS)production,and intracellular Ca^(2+)levels was *** supplement data on ROS and Ca^(2+)signaling in chemerin-mediated eryptosis,incubation in the presence or absence of antioxidants vitamin C and N-acetylcysteine and Ca^(2+)-binding agent EGTA was carried out,*** microscopy-based techniques were used to detect reactive nitrogen species(RNS)generation,involvement of caspase-3 and caspase-8,as well as the state of lipid order in cell membranes of erythrocytes exposed to human Glu^(21)-Ser^(157) ***:Our observations suggest that human Glu^(21)-Ser^(157) chemerin had no impact on eryptosis parameters at 2μg/***,chemerin stimulated phosphatidylserine externalization,ROS production,and Ca^(2+)accumulation at higher concentrations suggesting activation of ***^(2+)uptake turned out to be at least partly required for chemerin-mediated ***-mediated erythrotoxicity was additionally mediated by RNS,caspase-3,and ***,Glu^(21)-Ser^(157) chemerin promoted reduction in the liquid-ordered phase of cell membranes in ***:The present study first discloses that human chemerin can induce eryptosis via Ca^(2+)-dependent mechanisms at concentrations noticeably exceeding circulating ***,chemerin-induced eryptosis can hardly contribute to eryptosis-mediated anemia in disease

计算机技术发展到现阶段,需要更强的功能和更高的集成性。然而,根据经典理论设计的计算机已经快到了极限,这个极限起源于经典计算机所基于的经典物理学,这制约着计算机计算能力的进一步提高。因此,解决这个问题的方法在于从根本上改变其物理结构。为了解决这个问题,可以使用量子计算机。量子计算机是利用量子力学特有的现象和效应,例如叠加原理和纠缠性来对数据进行操作的一种装置。从理论上讲,量子计算机的计算能力比起他的前辈----基于经典理论的经典计算机,功能强大的多。现在关于量子计算机的研究,主要集中在以qubit(量子比特)为对象的二元逻辑。但是基于qubit的二元逻辑存在一些局限性,例如很难实现概率计算。事实上,存在着不用附加额外算法的允许实现概率计算的逻辑,这就是多值逻辑。其中的一个特例就是本文主要研究的对象,三值逻辑。在三值逻辑中,因为其逻辑单元中存在着未知分量,使得其更适用于描述概率过程。本文研究显示,三值逻辑可以作为信息的最小单元,采用三值逻辑可以有效地提升量子计算机的能力。本文的主要内容如下:1)考虑到三元逻辑是量子计算机中的基本信息单元,我们将一对具有三能级结构处于纠缠态的离子作为三态粒子(qutrit),建立了三态粒子的数学和物理模型。这使我们可以精确描述三态粒子的物理特性,能够描述三态粒子的主要物理参数,例如:相位和正算子取值测度(POVM)。2)为了描述在量子计算机上实现概率计算的方法,我们以GHZ态作为特例,研究了量子计算机上的概率计算的实现。其与通常纠缠态不同,主要区别在于GHZ态的测量结果在三个粒子纠缠中是不对称的,是以三个纠缠态的颗粒组成。基于这种效果,我们的研究显示,量子计算机解决了旧传统性质计算机的概率问题,量子计算机中概率计算的硬件具有经典的本质。

Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the modified potential cluster model

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the framework of a modified potential cluster model(MPCM)with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)M1 *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** important role of the asymptotic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A comparison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experimental and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreement is *** reaction rate is calculated and compared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong impact of the interference of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gamow windows,especially at low *** estimate the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experimental data from ***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancement due to the cascade transitions is observed from T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the maximum factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gamow energy window and a comparison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the framework of the MPCM and provide the temperature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

Interaction of water droplets with pyrolyzing coal particles and tablets

The paper presents the experimental research findings for the patterns of collisions of water droplets with pressed tableted samples used as substrates and with small particles of a pyrolyzing solid *** coal samples were ***-substrate interactions were studied when varying the droplet diameter in the range from 1 to 4 mm and velocity from 0.5 to 4 m/*** corresponded to the Weber number range of *** coal tablet surface temperature was varied from 20 to 700℃.In the interactions of water droplets(0.7-1.5 mm in diameter,pre-collision velocity from 1 to 3 m/s)with coal particles(with a size of 0.2-1 mm,pre-collision velocity 0.7-2 m/s),the temperature of the latter was varied in the range of 330-480℃.The following regimes of the interaction of droplets with solid particles during chemical reactions and phase transformations were distinguished:spreading/agglomeration and break-up/*** in the characteristics of the interaction of water droplets with coal particles at varying temperatures were ***-particle interaction regime maps for B(We),We(Oh)and We(Ca)were *** collision regime boundaries were described using fitted curves that can be utilized to develop the existing mathematical models of droplet-particle collisions in *** was established that the gaseous volatile production in coal pyrolysis has a modest effect on the regimes and characteristics of the droplet destruction in the temperature range under consideration(20-700℃).

Dynamics of a fluid-filled curvilinear pipeline

A mathematical model is presented, and numerical experiments are performed to describe the mechanics of the slow movement of a pipeline. The problem reduction algorithm to one-dimensional formulation is offered. Results of numerical experiment for the model problem are adduced. The proposed mathematical model is found to adequately describe the dynamics of known phenomena of pipes. The cross-sections of the extended curvilinear thin-walled pipeline are numerically demonstrated to experience warping, which has experimental confirmation in the literature.

A newly designed BIPV system with enhanced passive cooling and ventilation

Nowadays,the application of renewable energies such as solar energy in the building sector has increased notably considering the adverse impacts of climate change on human life;hence many studies have focused on the application of photovoltaic panels in *** the current study,a 3D computational fluid dynamics(CFD)model has been developed to evaluate the performance of a newly designed building-integrated photovoltaic(BIPV)*** the negative influence of overheating on the lifespan and performance of PV panels,their passive air cooling has been ***,the potential of rooftop-mounted solar panels in passive ventilation of buildings by generating natural convective currents has been *** developed CFD model takes into consideration the effects of radiation,conduction,and buoyancy-driven natural convective currents generated by solar PV panels which are heated due to the exposure to solar radiation heat *** results suggest that applying a high surface emissivity for the part of the roof beneath the PV panels intensifies the natural convective currents which in turn provides better cooling for PV panels with higher cooling effects at higher solar heat *** to a 34%increase in the convective mass flow rate and a 3 K decrease in the mean temperature of the panels were attained by modifying the emissivity of roof *** a 3 K decrease in the operating temperature of the PV panels can enhance their efficiency and lifespan by about 1.56%and 21%,*** on the operating conditions and system characteristics,the BIPV system yielded an air change rate(ACH)in the range of 3-13 which was considered to be highly prevalent in providing the required passive ventilation for a wide range of *** was also observed that the flow dynamics inside the building were affected by both the amount of solar heat load incident on the solar panels and the emissivity of the roof surface behind the panels.

Two orientations and photochromism of polyelectrolyte/bacteriorhodopsin alternative deposition multilayers

A series of organized multilayers have been formed by the alternative adsorption of positively charged poly(dimethyldiallylammonium chloride) (PDAC) and purple membrane (PM) fragments in suspensions at pH = 4-11. Both UV-vis spectrophotometry and quartz crystal micro-balance (QCM) technique were used to monitor the deposition process of PDAC/bacteriorhodopsin (bR) multilayers, suggesting that PM fragments and PDAC are deposited alternatively on the substrate uniformly. Upon illumination, all these multilayers generate photovoltages with defined signs. The negative sign of photovoltage accompanying the formation ofM-state at pH < 7 indicates that the extracellular side of PM fragments is directed toward the substrate; and the positive sign at pH?7 indicates that the cytoplasmic side of PM fragments is directed toward the substrate. In addition, the long-lived multipleM-state has been observed in all multilayer films. Moreover,M-state at high pH, which shows the longer lifetime than that at low pH, decays into the ground state (B) completely in 30 min.

Polyarsenides containing coinage metals,[As_(7)Cu(PPh_(3))]^(2-)(1)and[M_(2)As_(14)]^(4-)(M=Cu,2;Ag,3),were synthesized by reactions of the nominal composition K_(3)As_(7) with Group 11 metal *** possible intermediate,cluster 1,was isolated from the solution phase through subtle changes in reaction conditions in the formation process of complex ***,we establish the pathway of the bimetallic bridged clusters[Cu_(2)As_(14)]^(4-)by the oxidation of the[As_(7)Cu(PPh_(3))]^(2-).Quantum chemical calculations reveal the presence of metallophilic interaction in clusters 2 and 3.

In this work,we report the synthesis and characterization of two novel Ru-containing Zintl clusters:[Sn_(19){Ru(COD)(en)}_(2)]^(4−)and[Sn_(20){Ru(COD)}_(2)]^(6−).The synthesized compounds not only expand the family of Ru-Sn cluster systems but also shed light on the structure of heterometallic complexes in a previously unknown range of tin *** single-crystal X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis reveals the dimeric nature of the *** different assembly patterns of the formal[Sn(η^(3)-Sn_(9))]monomer were observed:the dimerization through the vertex fusion process and the direct dimerization through the formation of 2c–2e Sn–Snσ*** both clusters,the density functional theory calculations reveal the locallyσ-aromatic nature of the[Sn(η^(3)-Sn_(9))]monomer resulting in two independent magnetic shielding *** believe that our findings will help the community to further explore the fascinating chemistry of polystannide clusters.
