In the present paper a numerical method is developed to approximate the solution of two-dimensional Nonlinear Schrodinger equation in the presence of a sin- gular potential. The method leads to generalized Lyapunov-Sylvester algebraic opera- tors that are shown to be invertible using original topological and differential calculus issued methods. The numerical scheme is proved to be consistent, convergent and sta- ble using the Lyapunov criterion, lax equivalence theorem and the properties of the generalized Lyapunov-Sylvester operators.

In this paper wavelet functions are introduced in the context of q-theory. We precisely extend the case of Bessel and q-Bessel wavelets to the generalized q-Bessel wavelets. Starting from the （q,v）-extension （v = （α,β）） of the q-case, associated generalized q-wavelets and generalized q-wavelet transforms are developed for the new context. Reconstruction and Placherel type formulas are proved.

The multifractal formalism for single measure is reviewed. Next, a mixed generalized multifractal formalism is introduced which extends the multifractal formalism of a single measure based on generalizations of the Hausdorff and packing measures to a vector of simultaneously many measures. Borel-Cantelli and Large deviations Theorems are extended to higher orders and thus applied for the validity of the new variant of the multifractal formalism for some special cases of multi-doubling type measures.

This paper investigates a solution technique for solving a two-dimensional Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation discretized using a finite difference method. It consists of an order reduction method into a coupled system of second-order equations, and to formulate the fully discretized, implicit time-marched system as a Lyapunov- Sylvester matrix equation. Convergence and stability is examined using Lyapunov criterion and manipulating generalized Lyapunov-Sylvester operators. Some numerical implementations are provided at the end to validate the theoretical results.

We study the homogeneous Dirichlet problem in a ball for semi-linear elliptic problems derived from the Brezis-Nirenberg one with concave-convex nonlinearities. We are interested in determining non-radial solutions which are invariant with respect to some subgroup of the orthogonal group. We prove that unlike separated nonlinearities, there are two types of solutions, one converging to zero and one diverging. We conclude at the end on the classification of non radial solutions related to the nonlinearity used.

High moisture content wheat kernels are subject to elevated respiration rates due to enzyme activity and mould growth that reduce the dry grain and may produce suffi-cient energy which may be harmful to wheat *** aeration provides a powerful nonchemical stored grain insect ***,aeration is a suitable and economical device to overcome this *** moisture management is vital to prevent spoilage in stored *** objective of this study is to investigate the influence of using low relative humidity(RH)aeration on the wheat moisture *** numerical investigation based on heat and mass balances is developed and used to simulate the evolution of grain temperature and moisture under various air RH in a wheat storage *** show that the dehumidification of blown air had greater potential for decreasing RH of interstitial air and wheat moisture at 30◦C temperature and RH of 40%,50%and 60%.
