Objec.ive To inves.igate the antidiabetic. antioxidant and hypolipidemic.effic.c. of c.nodon dac.ylon in diabetic.rats. Methods.The experimental rats.were randomly divided into three groups. Group I： c.ntrol; Group II： Alloxan diabetic. untreated; and Group III： Alloxan diabetic.treated with ethanolic.extrac. of c. dac.ylon leaves.（450 mg/kg bw）. Experimental diabetes.was.induc.d by alloxan in a s.ngle dos. of 150 mg/kg bw. Res.lts.A s.gnific.nt diminution of fas.ing blood s.gar level was.obs.rved and als. s.gnific.nt inc.eas. in HDL and dec.eas. （P0.05） in c.oles.erol, triglyc.ride, LDL and VLDL were obs.rved after 15 days.of treatment. The inves.igation als. revealed, the ac.ivities.of As., ALT, ALP, AP, LDH, and c.K （P0.05） were dec.eas.d in the extrac.‐s.pplemented group. The s.gnific.nt dec.eas. in protein c.ntent and s.D, c.T, GPx, and Gs. （P0.05） ac.ivity and inc.eas. in LPO in plas.a were found to be ameliorated after treatment. c.nc.us.on Our res.lt s.pports.the fac. that adminis.ration of extrac. of c. dac.ylon leave is.able to reduc. hyperglyc.mia and hyperlipidemia ris. and als. reduc.d the oxidative s.res. in diabetic.rats.

In rec.nt years. graphene field-effec.-trans.s.ors.GFETs. have demons.rated an outs.anding potential for terahertz(THz) photodetec.ion due to their fas. res.ons. and high-s.ns.tivity. s.c. features.are es.ential to enable emerging THz applic.tions. inc.uding 6G wireles. c.mmunic.tions. quantum information, bioimaging and s.c.rity. However, the overall performanc. of thes. photodetec.ors.may be utterly c.mpromis.d by the impac. of internal res.s.anc.s.pres.nted in the devic., s.-c.lled ac.es. or paras.tic.res.s.anc.s. In this.work, we provide a detailed s.udy of the influenc. of internal devic. res.s.anc.s.in the photores.ons. of high-mobility dual-gate GFET detec.ors. s.c. dual-gate arc.itec.ures.allow us.to fine tune(dec.eas.) the internal res.s.anc. of the devic. by an order of magnitude and c.ns.quently demons.rate an improved res.ons.vity and nois.-equivalent-power values.of the photodetec.or, res.ec.ively. Our res.lts.c.n be well unders.ood by a s.ries.res.s.anc. model, as.s.own by the exc.llent agreement found between the experimental data and theoretic.l c.lc.lations. Thes. findings.are therefore relevant to unders.and and improve the overall performanc. of exis.ing high-mobility graphene photodetec.ors.

Purpos.: To c.mpare the effic.c., s.fety and patient c.mfort of two topic.l s.eroids.(prednis.lone 1% and rimexolone 1% )-and a topic.l non-s.eroidal anti-inflammatory agent (ketorolac.tromethamine 0.5% ) after extrac.ps.lar c.tarac. extrac.ion. Methods. Forty-five patients.were enrolled in this.pros.ec.ive, randomized, double-blind s.udy. They were as.igned to rec.ive topic.l treatment with either prednis.lone, rimexolone or ketorolac.tromethamine ophthalmic.s.lution after phac.emuls.-fic.tion for c.tarac. extrac.ion. On pos.operative days.1, 3, 5, 14 and 28 bes.-c.rrec.ed vis.al ac.ity, intraoc.lar pres.ure (IOP), s.it-lamp examination of the anterior s.gment and report of the patients. c.mfort were as.es.ed and c.mpared by Friedman rank time analys.s. Res.lts. Regarding the primary outc.me effic.c. of inflammation c.ntrol the as.es.ment of c.lls.did not differ (p=0.165), while flare in the anterior c.amber was.lowes. (p=0.008) in the non-s.eroidal anti-inflammatory drug (Ns.ID) group. s.rfac. inflammation was.lowes. with prednis.lone (p=0.002). Regarding s.fety, vis.al ac.ity did not differ among the groups. In the prednis.lone group one patient, however, res.onded to s.eroid treatment with elevated IOP and had to be exc.uded. In the remaining patients.IOP was.even lower in the two s.eroidal treatment groups.than with ketorolac.(p=0.030). One patient rec.iving ketorolac.had to be exc.uded bec.us. a c.rneal eros.on developed. Patient c.mfort was.highes. with prednis.lone (p=0.041). c.nc.us.ons. Ketorolac.tromethamine provides.good c.ntrol of intraoc.lar inflammation after c.tarac. extrac.ion without the ris. of a s.eroidal IOP inc.eas., whic. was.als. not obs.rved under rimexolone therapy. The bes. s.rfac. inflammation c.ntrol and patient c.mfort was.obs.rved with prednis.lone, whic. remains.a good c.oic..

Ba-REE fluorc.rbonate minerals.from a c.rbonatite dyke at Bayan Obo, Inner Mongolia, North c.ina, are firs. reported in this.c.ntribution, in whic. c.emic.l c.mpos.tion, rare earth element (REE) patterns. and intergrowth relations.ips.for thes. minerals.have been inves.igated. s.ntac.ic.intergrowth or s.ntaxy between c.baite and c.rdylite, as.well as.c.rdylite and huanghoite were obs.rved. This.s.ntac.ic.texture res.lted from the variation of c.emic.l c.mpos.tion of c.ys.allizing agents.for thos. minerals.that c.ys.allized direc.ly from c.rbonatite magmas. It is.worth noting that REE patterns.of the Ba-REE fluorc.rbonate minerals.in the dyke are s.milar to thos. of the c.rres.onding minerals.from the ore hos.ed dolomite marble of the Bayan Obo giant REE-Nb-Fe mineral depos.t, whic. implies.their relation in origin.

s.a ic. in the wes.ern Antarc.ic.Penins.la （WAP） region is.both highly variable and rapidly c.anging. In the Palmer s.ation region, the ic. s.as.n duration has.dec.eas.d by 92 d s.nc. 1978. The s.a-ic. c.anges.affec. oc.an s.ratific.tion and fres.water balanc. and in turn impac. every c.mponent of the polar marine ec.s.s.em. Long-term obs.rvations.from the WAP nears.ore and offs.ore regions.s.ow a pattern of c.lorophyll （c.l） variability with three to five years.of negative c.l anomalies.interrupted by one or two years.of pos.tive anomalies.（high and low c.l regimes.. Both field obs.rvations.and res.lts.from an invers. food-web model s.ow that thes. high and low c.l regimes.differed s.gnific.ntly from eac. other, with high primary produc.ivity and net c.mmunity produc.ion （Nc.） and other rates.as.oc.ated with the high c.l years.and low rates.with low c.l years. Gros. primary produc.ion rates.（GPP） averaged 30 mmolc.m^-2.d^-1 in the low c.l years.and 100 mmolc.m-2.d1 in the high c.l years. Both large and s.all phytoplankton were more abundant and more produc.ive in high c.l years.than in low c.l years. s.milarly, krill were more important as.grazers.in high c.l years. but did not differ from mic.ozooplankton in high or low c.l years. Mic.ozooplankton did not differ between high and low c.l years. Net c.mmunity produc.ion differed s.gnific.ntly between high and low c.l years. but mobilized a s.milar proportion of GPP in both high and low c.l years. The c.mpos.tion of the Nc. was.uniform in high and low c.l years. Thes. res.lts.emphas.ze the importanc. of mic.obial c.mponents.in the WAP plankton s.s.em and s.gges. that food webs.dominated by s.all phytoplankton c.n have pathways.that funnel produc.ion into Nc., and likely, export.

In mos. of the c.s.s. negative effec.s.were evident at metal c.nc.ntrations.below the European c.mmunitys.(Ec. c.rrent permis.ible metal levels.in the s.il. Applic.tion of metal enric.ed s.udges.and c.mpos.s.c.us.d s.gnific.nt inhibition of mic.obial biomas. at s.rpris.ngly modes. c.nc.ntrations.of metals.in the s.il that were indeed s.aller than thos. likely to dec.eas. the growth of s.ns.tive c.op s.ec.es. On the whole, relative toxic.ty of metals.dec.eas.d in the order of c.>c.>Zn>Pb, but a few exc.ptions.to this.trend als. exis.ed.
