Background:The impact of climate change on horticultural production is of utmost concern *** such vulnerable region of horticultural importance is the Madhya Pradesh state in the central part of *** is crucial to analyse the long-term trend in climatic variations and its effect on horticultural crop ***,this study focuses on detecting trends in mean annual precipitation and temperature of 115 years for the 15 districts covering all the regions of the state as well as projections of all the Representative Concentration Pathway(RCP)climatic scenarios for 2050 and 2080 of Madhya Pradesh *** decadal(2010–2020)insight into the area and production of horticultural crops is undertaken which will help forecasting the future growth *** a better insight,case study on four horticultural crops is undertaken to assess their decadal growth trend vis-à-vis climate parameters in these 15 ***:The Mann–Kendall test for 1901–2016 and Sen’s slope indicated a non-significant change in long-term trend for precipitation except for increasing change in Khargone and decreasing change in Rewa ***-cant increasing trend of average temperature is obtained for Hoshangabad,Jabalpur,Sagar and Rewa *** Sen’s slope indicated an increase of 0.005 to 0.009℃for maximum temperature and 0.005 to 0.012℃for minimum temperature *** projections of all the RCP climate scenarios for the years 2050 and 2080 indicated non-significant variation in precipitation but an increase in maximum(1.4 to 4.1℃)and minimum(1.45 to 4.65℃)annual *** increasing trend in area and production for horticultural crops is also observed in central India for the study *** is yield increase in all the crops selected in case study except for potato,which recorded a decreased yield between the years 2010–***:The Mann–Kendall test and projections indicate towards climate change with a temperature *** the decad

Broadcasting with Controlled Redundancy and Improved Localization in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks （WSNs） consist of sensor nodes that broadcast a message within a network. Efficient broadcasting is a key requirement in sensor networks and has been a focal point of research over the last few years. There are many challenging tasks in the network, including redundancy control and sensor node localization that mainly depend on broadcasting. In this paper, we propose a broadcasting algorithm to control redundancy and improve localization （BACRIL） in WSNs. The proposed algorithm incorporates the benefits of the gossip protocol for optimizing message broadcasting within the network. Simulation results show a controlled level of redundancy, which is up to 57.6% if the number of sensor nodes deployed in a 500 m×500 m area are increased from 50 to 500.

A Practical Solution for Location Estimation in Manually Deployed Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper addresses the existing research and adds another aspect of functionality by incorporating pertinent sensor nodes to provide a dynamic location discovery and estimation. The software used provides an easy graphical user interface to visualize a particular location in accordance with geographical latitude and longitude. A simple real time location estimation technique is worked out for wireless sensor networks based on manual deployment of sensors. The proposed scheme finds more efficient solutions with less quantity of sensors as compared to existing deployment schemes. The set up is evaluated exclusively in real environments using IRIS sensor nodes supported by a global positioning system module to provide visualization of an outdoor location. The results are offered by Google Earth application.

Increased nighttime respiratory losses decrease the amount of photoassimilates available for plant growth and yield. We hypothesized that the increased respiratory carbon loss under high night temperatures(HNT) could be compensated for by increased photosynthesis during the day following HNT exposure. Two rice genotypes, Vandana(HNT-sensitive) and Nagina 22(HNT-tolerant), were exposed to HNT(4 ℃ above the control) from flowering to physiological maturity. They were assessed for alterations in the carbon balance of the source(flag leaf) and its subsequent impact on grain filling dynamics and the quality of spatially differentiated sinks(superior and inferior spikelets). Both genotypes exhibited significantly higher night respiration rates. However, only Nagina 22 compensated for the high respiration rates with an increased photosynthetic rate, resulting in a steady production of total dry matter under HNT. Nagina 22 also recorded a higher grain-filling rate, particularly at 5 and 10 d after flowering, with 1.5- and 4.0-fold increases in the translocation of ^(14)C sugars to the superior and inferior spikelets, respectively. The ratio of photosynthetic rate to respiratory rate on a leaf area basis was negatively correlated with spikelet sterility, resulting in a higher filled spikelet number and grain weight per plant, particularly for inferior grains in Nagina 22. Grain quality parameters such as head rice recovery, high-density grains, and gelatinization temperature were maintained in Nagina 22. An increase in the rheological properties of rice flour starch in Nagina 22 under HNT indicated the stability of starch and its ability to reorganize during the cooling process of product formation. Thus, our study showed that sink adjustments between superior and inferior spikelets favored the growth of inferior spikelets, which helped to offset the reduction in grain weight under HNT in the tolerant genotype Nagina 22.

This research studies the changes in flow patterns and hemodynamic parameters of diverse shapes and sizes of *** different shapes and sizes of stenosis are constructed to investigate the variations in hemodynamics as the morphology *** in shape(trapezoidal and bell-shaped)and sizes of stenosis change the stresses on the walls and their flow *** and OSI results specify that trapezoidal stenosis exerts greater stress than bell-shaped ***,as the length of the trapezoidal stenosis increases,the TAWSS increases,whereas the trend is the opposite for bell-shaped ***,this paper also studies different degrees of stenosis extracted from real *** in velocity flow patterns,wall shear stress(WSS),Time-averaged wall shear stress(TAWSS)and Oscillatory shear index(OSI)have been studied for these *** illustrate that the peak velocity rises drastically as the stenosis percentage *** velocity is seen close to the artery's walls,indicating flow *** flow separation region is seen throughout the cycle except in the accelerating flow *** increase in stenosis also increases WSS and TAWSS *** WSS is seen downstream of stenosis,indicating flow *** negative WSS in the blood vessels also promotes endothelial *** values greater than 0.2 are seen near the stenosis region,indicating atherosclerosis *** of high OSI and low TAWSS are also identified,indicating probable regions of plaque development.

Anticoagulation in simultaneous pancreas kidney transplantation - On what basis?

Fluoride Contamination of Groundwater and Skeleton Fluorosis in Central India

In country like India, the groundwater is widely used for drinking purposes. In central India, the groundwater is hard and contaminated with F- and other elements above the permissible limits and found to be linked with prevalence of the fluorosis diseases. In this work, the groundwater quality Balod district, Chhattisgarh, India is investigated for assessment of water quality for drinking purposes. The concentration (n = 50) of F- was ranged from 1.5 - 14.0 mg/L with mean value of 3.9 ± 0.8 mg/L. The causes of prevalence of skeleton fluorosis in human of the studied area are described.

Predicting morbidity and mortality in acute pancreatitis in an Indian population:a comparative study of the BISAP score,Ranson’s score and CT severity index

Objective:Our aim was to prospectively evaluate the accuracy of the bedside index for severity in acute pancreatitis(BISAP)score in predicting mortality,as well as intermediate markers of severity,in a tertiary care centre in east central India,which caters mostly for an economically underprivileged ***:A total of 119 consecutive cases with acute pancreatitis were admitted to our institution between November 2012 and October *** scores were calculated for all cases,within 24 hours of ***’s score and computed tomography severity index(CTSI)were also *** respective abilities of the three scoring systems to predict mortality was evaluated using trend and discrimination *** optimal cut-off score for mortality from the receiver operating characteristics(ROC)curve was used to evaluate the development of persistent organ failure and pancreatic necrosis(PNec).Results:Of the 119 cases,42(35.2%)developed organ failure and were classified as severe acute pancreatitis(SAP),47(39.5%)developed PNec,and 12(10.1%)*** area under the curve(AUC)results for BISAP score in predicting SAP,PNec,and mortality were 0.962,0.934 and 0.846,***’s score showed a slightly lower accuracy for predicting SAP(AUC 0.956)and mortality(AUC 0.841).CTSI was the most accurate in predicting PNec,with an AUC of *** sensitivity and specificity of BISAP score,with a cut-off of≥3 in predicting mortality,were 100%and 69.2%,***:The BISAP score represents a simple way of identifying,within 24 hours of presentation,patients at greater risk of dying and the development of intermediate markers of *** risk stratification method can be utilized to improve clinical care and facilitate enrolment in clinical trials.

Pit Lake Water Quality of Central India

Several pit lakes exist in the Raipur area due to lime stone mining. The water of pit lakes is used for bathing, washing and irrigation purposes. They are found to be contaminated with toxicants i.e. fluoride, surfactants and microbes far above the recommended limits. In this work, the water quality of 29 pit lakes locates in two districts: Raipur and Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh, India are assessed for drinking and irrigation purposes.
