In this analysis,the magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow of Casson fluid over a permeable stretching/shrinking sheet in the presence of wall mass transfer is *** similarity transformations,the governing equations are converted to an ordinary differential equation and then solved *** introduction of a magnetic field changes the behavior of the entire flow dynamics in the shrinking sheet case and also has a major impact in the stretching sheet *** similarity solution is always unique in the stretching case,and in the shrinking case the solution shows dual nature for certain values of the *** stronger magnetic field,the similarity solution for the shrinking sheet case becomes unique.

An analysis is carried out for dual solutions of the boundary layer flow of Maxwell fluid over a permeable shrinking sheet. In the investigation, a constant wall mass transfer is considered. With the help of similarity transformations, the governing partial differential equations（PDEs） are converted into a nonlinear self-similar ordinary differential equation（ODE）. For the numerical solution of transformed self-similar ODE, the shooting method is applied. The study reveals that the steady flow of Maxwell fluid is possible with a smaller amount of imposed mass suction compared with the viscous fluid flow. Dual solutions for the velocity distribution are obtained. Also, the increase of Deborah number reduces the boundary layer thickness for both solutions.

Riccati equation approach is used to look for exact travelling wave solutions of some nonlinear physical *** wave solutions are established for the modified KdV equation,the Boussinesq equation and the Zakharov-Kuznetsov *** generalized solitary wave solutions with some free parameters are *** obtained solutions,which includes some previously known solitary wave solutions and some new ones,are expressed by a composition of Riccati differential equation solutions followed by a *** employed approach,which is straightforward and concise,is expected to be further employed in obtaining new solitary wave solutions for nonlinear physical problems.

The present study elaborates three-dimensional flow of Williamson nanoliquid over a nonlinear stretchable surface. Fluid flow obeys Darcy–Forchheimer porous medium. A bidirectional nonlinear stretching surface generates the flow. Convective surface condition of heat transfer is taken into consideration. Further the zero nanoparticles mass flux condition is imposed at the boundary. Effects of thermophoresis and Brownian diffusion are considered. Assumption of boundary layer has been employed in the problem formulation. Convergent series solutions for the nonlinear governing system are established through the optimal homotopy analysis method(OHAM). Graphs have been sketched in order to analyze that how the velocity, temperature and concentration distributions are affected by distinct emerging flow parameters. Skin friction coefficients and local Nusselt number are also computed and discussed.

In this paper, we consider the existence, the uniqueness, the global exponential stability, the global asymptotic stability, the uniform asymptotic stability and the uniform stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive competitive neural networks with distributed delays and leakage time-varying delays. The existence of a unique equilibrium point is proved by using Brouwer's fixed point theorem. By finding suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some sufficient conditions are derived ensuring some kinds of stability. Finally, several examples and their simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

In this paper, we study a boundary value problem of nonlinear fractional dif- ferential equations of order q （1 〈 q 〈 2） with non-separated integral boundary conditions. Some new existence and uniqueness results are obtained by using some standard fixed point theorems and Leray-Schauder degree theory. Some illustrative examples are also presented. We extend previous results even in the integer case q = 2.

The present article provides mathematical modeling for melting heat and thermal radiation in stagnationpoint flow of carbon nanotubes towards a nonlinear stretchable surface of variable thickness. The process of homogeneousheterogeneous reactions is considered. Diffusion coefficients are considered equal for both reactant and *** and gasoline oil are taken as base fluids. The conversion of partial differential system to ordinary differential system is done by suitable transformations. Optimal homotopy technique is employed for the solutions development of velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction and local Nusselt number. Graphical results for various values of pertinent parameters are displayed and discussed. Our results indicate that the skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number are enhanced for larger values of nanoparticles volume fraction.

The graphene oxides （GOs） have attracted multidisciplinary study because of their special physicochemical properties. The high surface area and large amounts of oxygen-containing functional groups make GOs suitable materials for the efficient elimination of heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. Herein the sorption of Ni（Ⅱ） on GOs was studied using batch experi- ments, and the results showed that the sorption of Ni（Ⅱ） is strongly dependent on pH and ionic strength at pH〈8, and inde- pendent of ionic strength at pH〉8. The sorption of Ni（Ⅱ） is mainly dominated by outer-sphere surface complexation and ion exchange at low pH, and by inner-sphere surface complexation at high pH. The interaction of Ni（Ⅱ） with GOs was also inves- tigated by theoretical density functional theory （DFT） calculations, and the results show that the sorption of Ni（Ⅱ） on GOs is mainly attributed to the -COH and -COC groups and the DFT calculations show that Ni（Ⅱ） forms stable GO_Ni_triplet struc- ture with the binding energy of -39.44 kcal/mol, which is in good agreement with the batch sorption experimental results. The results are important for the application of GOs as adsorbents in the efficient removal of Ni（Ⅱ） from wastewater in environ- mental pollution cleanup.

This article investigates the three-dimensional flow of Powell–Eyring nanofluid with thermophoresis and Brownian motion effects. The energy equation is considered in the presence of thermal radiation. The heat and mass flux conditions are taken into account. Mathematical formulation is carried out through the boundary layer approach. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into the nonlinear ordinary differential equations through suitable variables. The resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equations have been solved for the series solutions. Effects of emerging physical parameters on the temperature and nanoparticles concentration are plotted and discussed. Numerical values of local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are computed and examined.
