Expediting redox kinetics of sulfur species on conductive scaffolds with limited charge accessible surface is considered as an imperative approach to realize energy-dense and power-intensive lithium-sulfur(Li-S)*** this work,the concept of concurrent hetero-/homo-geneous electrocatalysts is proposed to simultaneously mediate liquid-solid conversion of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs)and solid lithium disulfide/sulfide(Li_(2.S_(2./Li_(2.S)propagation,the latter of which suffers from sluggish reduction kinetics due to buried conductive scaffold surface by extensive deposition of Li_(2.S_(2./Li_(2.*** selected model material to verify this concept is a two-in-one catalyst:carbon nanotube(CNT)scaffold supported iron-cobalt(Fe-Co)alloy nanoparticles and partially carbonized selenium(C-Se)*** Fe-Co alloy serves as a heterogeneous electrocatalyst to seed Li_(2.S_(2./Li_(2.S through sulphifilic active sites,while the C-Se sustainably releases soluble lithium polyselenides and functions as a homogeneous electrocatalyst to propagate Li_(2.S_(2./Li_(2.S via solution *** bi-phasic mediation of the sulfur species benefits reduction kinetics of LiPS conversion,especially for the massive Li_(2.S_(2./Li_(2.S growth scenario by affording an additional solution directed route in case of conductive surface being largely *** strategy endows the Li-S batteries with improved cycling stability(836 mA h g^(-1)after 180 cycles),rate capability(547 mA h g^(-1)at 4 C)and high sulfur loading superiority(2.96 mA h cm^(-2.at 2.4 mg cm^(-2.).This work hopes to enlighten the employment of bi-phasic electrocatalysts to dictate liquid-solid transformation of intermediates for conversion chemistry batteries.

We read with great interest the informative study by Armandi et al.,which shed light on the potential role of serum ferritin in predicting the long-term prognosis of patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(1).However,there remain certain facets requiring in-depth investigation and *** of all,the study found that integrating stepwise increased ferritin thresholds(2.5.5 and 2.2.g/L)into predictive models can improve the performance of fibrosis-4(FIB-4)and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Fibrosis Score(NFS)in the longitudinal risk assessment of liver-related events and overall ***,it has been suggested that metabolic hyperferritinaemia(MHF)appears to exhibit a male predominance(2.3).Since the study primarily comprised male participants(65%),it raises the query of whether the ferritin threshold based on the entire population can accurately predict risks within female ***,a sex-specific analysis is warranted to ensure a more precise evaluation.

探讨了肝细胞在胚胎干细胞 (EScell)体外诱导分化系统中成熟分化的条件、机制及其鉴定方法 .利用TGF ,bFGF、HGF等细胞生长因子进行BALB/c小鼠ES细胞向肝细胞方向的定向诱导 .利用反转录聚合酶链反应 (RT PCR)、免疫细胞化学 (ICC)和放射免疫法 (RIA)动态检测肝细胞特异性基因和蛋白AFP ,ALB ,G6P ,TAT ,CK8,CK18等在培养体系中的表达 ,并测定肝细胞的尿素合成功能 ,最后测定肝细胞分化率 .结果 ,肝细胞特异基因AFP ,ALB ,G6P和TAT最早分别于第 3、 9、 11、 13天表达 ,肝细胞特异蛋白AFP ,CK8,CK18和ALB最早分别于第 7、 9、 9和 11天开始表达 .第 12.开始检测到尿素出现 ,浓度为 8 3μmol/L ,并随培养时间延长而浓度逐渐增加 .最后 ,测得生长因子诱导组肝细胞的分化率为 32.% ,对照组肝细胞分化率为 8% .说明肝细胞可以在ES细胞体外诱导分化系统中出现并成熟分化 ,bFGF、HGF、OSM等可以明显提高细胞分化率和成熟度 ,有望成为解决肝功能替代疗法中细胞来源问题的新希望 .

One of the key issues in climate risk management is to develop climate resilient infrastructure so as to ensure safety and sustainability of urban functioning systems as well as mitigate the adverse impacts associated with increasing climate ***,conventional methods of assessing risks do not fully address the interaction of various subsystems within the city system and are unable to consolidate diverse opinions of various stakeholders on their assessments of sector-specific risks posed by climate *** address this gap,this study advances an integrated-systems-analysis tool-Climate Risk Assessment of Infrastructure Tool(CRaiT),and applies it to analyze and compare the extent of risk factor exposure and vulnerability over time across five critical urban infrastructure sectors in Shanghai and Shenzhen,two cities that have distinctive geo-climate profiles and histories of infrastructure *** results show significantly higher level of variation between the two cities in terms of vulnerability levels than that of *** specifically,the sectors of critical buildings,water,energy,and information&communication in Shenzhen have significantly higher vulnerability levels than Shanghai in both the 2.00s and the *** further discussed the vulnerability levels of subsystems in each sector and proposed twelve potential adaptation options for the roads system based on four sets of criteria:technical feasibility,flexibility,co-benefits,and policy *** application of CRaiT is bound to be a knowledge co-production process with the local experts and *** knowledge co-production process highlights the importance of management advancements and nature-based green solutions in managing climate change risk in the future though differences are observed across the efficacy categories due to the geographical and meteorological conditions in the two *** study demonstrates that this knowledge co-creation process is valuable

Background:There is a need for effective and safe therapies for psoriasis that provide sustained *** aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of tildrakizumab,an anti-interleukin-2.p19 monoclonal antibody,for treating moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in Chinese ***:In this multi-center,double-blind,phase III trial,patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis were enrolled and randomly assigned(1:1)to receive subcutaneous tildrakizumab 100 mg or placebo at weeks 0 and *** initially assigned to placebo were switched to receive tildrakizumab at weeks 12.16,and every 12.weeks *** in the tildrakizumab group continued with tildrakizumab at week 16,and every 12.weeks until week *** primary endpoint was the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index(PASI 75)response rate at week ***:At week 12.tildrakizumab demonstrated significantly higher PASI 75 response rates(66.4%[73/110]vs.12.7%[14/110];difference,51.4%[95%confidence interval(CI),40.72.62.13];P1)and Physician’s Global Assessment(60.9%[67/110]vs.10.0%[11/110];difference,49.1%[95%CI,38.64,59.62.;P1)compared to *** 75 response continued to improve over time in both tildrakizumab and placebo-switching to tildrakizumab groups,reaching maximal efficacy after 2. weeks(86.8%[92.106]vs.82.4%[89/108])and maintained up to 52.weeks(91.3%[95/104]vs.87.4%[90/103]).Most treatment-emergent adverse events were mild and not related to ***:Tildrakizumab demonstrated durable efficacy through week 52.and was well tolerated in Chinese patients with moderate-to-severe plaque *** registration:***,NCT05108766.

目的分析患者入院时血清降钙素原(PCT)和细胞因子水平对新型冠状病毒感染者(COVID-19)预后的预测价值。方法纳入2.2.年11月至2.2.年2.首都医科大学附属北京胸科医院收治的确诊COVID-19,采用化学发光法检测血清PCT水平,流式微球阵列法检测血清细胞因子IL-1β、IL-2.IL-4、IL-5、IL-6、IL-8、IL-10、IL-12.70、IL-17A、IL-17F、IL-2.、TNF-α、TNF-β、IFN-γ水平。将入住ICU、接受机械通气和院内死亡定义为预后不良,排除合并细菌感染的患者后,分析入院时血清中PCT和细胞因子水平与COVID-19患者预后的关系。结果共纳入176例资料完整的患者,其中PCT正常组134例,PCT升高组42.,中位年龄为71.50岁,男性占71.59%。PCT升高组患者ICU入住率(38.41%vs.13.11%,P2.vs.2..59%,P1)和院内死亡率(38.46%vs.6.56%,P1)均显著高于PCT正常组。预后不良患者血清中细胞因子IL-6(7.40 pg/mL vs.4.78 pg/mL,P10.97 pg/mL vs.5.92.pg/mL,P1)的水平显著高于预后良好者。根据ROC曲线计算,PCT、IL-6和IL-8预测COVID-19患者预后不良的曲线下面积分别为0.687、0.660和0.746;灵敏度分别为52.78%、55.17%和72.41%;特异度分别为81.58%、74.19%和74.19%。当PCT、IL-6和IL-8联合预测COVID-19患者预后时,曲线下面积为0.764,灵敏度为70.00%,特异度为80.00%。结论血清PCT和细胞因子IL-6、IL-8可作为COVID-19患者预后不良的预测标志物。

Background Esophageal cancer is the sixth most common cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Prior studies had demonstrated potential synergistic antitumor activity of gemcitabine in combination with cisplatin. Therefore, we studied the efficacy and tolerability of such combination for esophageal cancer. Methods Between October 2.03 and October 2.06, thirty-eight patients with metastatic or recurrent advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus were enrolled. The median number of treatment cycles per patient was 4 （range 1-7）. Gemcitabine was given at 1000 mg/m2.over 30 minutes on days 1, 8 and cisplatin 40 mg/m2.was given on days 1,2.in an every 2.-day cycle. Results The median follow-up for all 38 patients was 76 months （range 11-88 months）. The overall response rate was 42.1% （95%Cl, 2..5%-56.5%）. Median progression-free survival and median survival for all patients were 4.1 months （95%C/, 3.0-5.7 months） and 10 months （95%C/, 7-12.months）, respectively. Patients with a response had significantly longer median survival compared with the patients without a response （11 months vs. 7.5 months, P=0.0069）. Overall survival at 1 year was 36.8%, at 2.years was 10.5%, and at 5 years was 5.3%. The most common grade 3-4 toxicity for all patients was leucopenia （44.7%）. Conclusions This cisplatin-gemcitabine regimen was manageable and had significant efficacy in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Patients with a response had improved survival time. Furthermore, a small number of the Datients with metastatic esoohaaeal cancer were still alive in 5 vears with this reaimen.
