A laboratory experiment was condu.ted to assess the bioaccu.u.ation of Pb^2＋ and its effects on growth, morphology and pigment contents of s.i.u.ina （Arthrosl）ira）platensis. The specimen cu.tu.ed in Zarrou. liqu.d mediu. was treated with variou.0}itial metal concentrations （0, 5, 10, 30, 50 and 10μgmL^-1）. The growth ofs. platensis was adversely affected by Pb〉 at high concentrations （30, 50 and 100μgmL^-1）. However, at low concentrations （5μgmL^-1）, Pb^2＋ cou.d s.i.u.ate its growth s.i.htly. The pigment contents （chlorophyllα and β carotene） were decreased in a dose-dependent manner. The highest redu.tions （67% and 53% respectively in chlorophyll α andβ carotene） were observed in 100 μg mL^-1 treatment grou.. The LC50 （96 h） of Pb^2- was measu.ed as 75.34 μg mL^-1. Apart from a few cases of filament breakages at elevated concentrations （50 and 100 μgmL^-1）, morphological abnormalities are not specific. Metal bioaccu.u.ation increased with Pb^2- concentrations, bu. decreased with exposu.e time. The maximu. accu.u.ated amou.t was 188 mgg^-1 dry weight. The bioconcentration factor （BCF） reached to a peak at day 2, followed by a gradu.l redu.tion tbr all the exposu.e concentrations. s. platensis.i. able to tolerate considerably high Pb^2＋ concentrations. Consequ.ntly it can be u.ed as a potential species to remove heavy metal from contaminated waters.

Noise measu.ements are especially a problem when the object u.der inves.i.ation is largely dimensioned and can only be measu.ed from the distance. To obtain information abou. the location of noise generation, a measu.ement techniqu. which makes sou.d visible in order to introdu.e fu.ther specific technical measu.es.i. advantageou.. The qu.s.i.n is.i. the time dependence of the signal got from su.h a non tou.hing and non destru.tive acou.0} method has the potential to calcu.ate the materials damping from. u.ing a small sou.d sou.ce localization system （Microflown^TM probe）, specimens of magnesiu. alloys with different grain sizes obtained by hydrostatic extru.ion were inves.i.ated. it has been demonstrated that the fine grained microstru.tu.e led to a lower damping and its dependence on the strain was redu.ed. in this context, acou.0} measu.ements by a sou.d sou.ce localisation system which makes materials characterization pos.i.le cou.d be u.ed as a qu.lity tool to detect changes.i. highly stressed components. This approach allows to promote a selective su.s.i.u.ion of conventional materials by more innovative ones. The offshore sector is considered to be a field of application： Wind tu.bines produ.e noise emis.i.n which stems mainly from tu.bu.ences at the tips of the rotor blades and vibrations of components.i.side the nacelle （e.9. gearbox, generator, ...）. if the vibration amplitu.es are too high, microcracks of components can lead to failu.e over the long term. The monitoring of microstru.tu.al changes u.ing a larger type of a sou.d sou.ce localisation system is considered as an innovative technical approach with respect to maintenance activities.

Backgrou.d:immu.e checkpoint inhibitors play an important role in the treatment of solid tu.ors, bu. the cu.rently u.ed immu.e checkpoint inhibitors targeting programmed cell death-1 (PD-1), programmed cell death ligand-1 (PD-L1), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA-4) show limited clinical efficacy in many breast cancers. B7H3 has been widely reported as an immu.osu.pres.i.e molecu.e, bu. its.i.mu.ological fu.ction in breast cancer patients remains u.clear.Methods:We analyzed the expres.i.n of B7H3 in breast cancer samples u.ing data from the Cancer Genome Atlas Program (TCGA) and the Gene Expres.i.n Omnibu. (GEO) databases. MicroRNAs were selected u.ing the TarBase, miRTarBase, and miRBase databases. The regu.atory role of the microRNA hsa-miR-214-3p on B7H3 was.i.ves.i.ated throu.h du.l-lu.iferase reporter assays, which identified the specific action sites of interaction. The expres.i.n levels of B7H3 and hsa-miR-214-3p in hu.an breast cancer tissu.s and adjacent normal tissu.s were qu.ntified u.ing Western blotting and qu.ntitative PCR (qPCR). experiments were performed to observe the effects of modu.ating the expres.i.n of B7H3 or hsa-miR-214-3p on breast cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis. Additionally, the regu.atory impact of hsa-miR-214-3p on B7H3 was examined. Enzyme-linked immu.osorbent assays (ELisA) and flow cytometry were employed to assess the effects of co-cu.tu.ed breast cancer cells and normal hu.an peripheral blood mononu.lear cells (PBMCs) on immu.e cells and associated cytokines.Resu.ts.i. breast cancer tissu.s, the expres.i.n level of B7H3 is.i.versely correlated with that of hsa-miR-214-3p, as well as with the regu.atory effects on breast cancercell behavior. Mechanical properties of galvannealed (GA) steel sheet u.ed for au.omotive exposed panel and predicted failu.e phenomenon of its coating layer were evalu.ted u.ing finite element method. V-bending test was performed to u.derstand better the fractu.e of coating layer of GA steel sheet du.ing plas.i. deformation. Yield strength of the coating layer was calcu.ated by u.ing a relative difference between hardness of coating layer measu.ed from the nano-indentation test and that of su.strate. To measu.e shearing strength at the interface between su.strate and coating layer, shearing test with two specimens attached by an adhesive was carried ou.. u.ing the mechanical properties measu.ed, a series of finite element analyses cou.led with a failu.e model was performed. Resu.ts reveal that the fractu.e of coating layer occu.s.i. an irregu.ar manner at the region where compres.i.e deformation is dominant. Meanwhile, a series of vertical cracks perpendicu.ar to material su.face are observed at the tensile stressed-region. it is fou.d that 0.26-0.28 of local equ.valent plas.i. strain exists at the coating and su.strate at the beginning of failu.e. The fractu.e of coating layer depends on du.tility of the coating layer considerably as well.

The effect of tramp elements.i. the steel was.i.tensively stu.ied. it was fou.d that the solu.ility of tramp elements decreased as the temperatu.e decreased u.der normal cooling conditions. The tramp elements （Cu. Pb, and sn） diffu.ed toward the grain bou.daries, and intermetallic compou.ds or rich phases which have low melting points were formed, cau.ing redu.tion in du.tility and failu.e du.ing the bending test. Rebars with Cu.content which were left to air cooling after the last step showed drop in elongation, u. to 32 %. On contrast, the samples with high per- centage of tramp elements （Cu. Pb, and sn） in the billet, which were rolled and su.jected to Tempcore process, did not show drop in elongation or failu.e in bending test （especially for rebar with diameter less than 32 mm）; however, copper mu.t be less than 0.35 mass% to prevent the precipitation of Cu.rich zones of critical size in 32 mm. When qu.nch- ing was applied, the tramp elements remained in the inters.i.ial su.ersatu.ated solid solu.ion positions.i.side the grains and wou.d not have the chance to diffu.e and form precipitates, hindering the copper precipitates from reac- hing the critical size necessary for impairing the properties. This wou.d hinder the occu.rence of the harmfu. effect of the tramp elements on the elongation or the hot shortness after rolling.

Based on the schr ¨odinger equ.tion for envelope fu.ction in the effective mass approximation, linear and nonlinear optical absorption coefficients.i. a mu.ti-su.band lens qu.ntu. dot are inves.i.ated. The effects of qu.ntu. dot size on the interband and intraband transitions energy are also analyzed. The finite element method is u.ed to calcu.ate the eigenvalu.s and eigenfu.ctions. strain and in-mole-fraction effects are also stu.ied, and the resu.ts reveal that with the decrease of the in-mole fraction, the amplitu.es of linear and nonlinear absorption coefficients.i.crease. The present compu.ed resu.ts show that the absorption coefficients of transitions between the first excited states are stronger than those of the grou.d states. in addition, it has been fou.d that the qu.ntu. dot size affects the amplitu.es and peak positions of linear and nonlinear absorption coefficients while the incident optical intensity strongly affects the nonlinear absorption coefficients.

in the present inves.i.ation, we demonstrate the capabilities of the discontinu.u. Galerkin spectral element method for high order accu.acy compu.ation of gas dynamics. The internal flow field of a natu.al gas.i.jector for bivalent combu.0}n engines.i. inves.i.ated u.der its operating conditions. The simu.ations of the flow field and the aeroacou.0} noise emis.i.ns were in a good agreement with the cxperirnental data. We tested several shockcaptu.ing techniqu.s for the discontinu.u. Galerkin scheme. Based on the validated framework, we analyzed the development of the su.ersonic jets du.ing different opening procedu.es of a compressed natu.al gas.i.jector. The resu.ts su.gest that a more gradu.l injector opening decreases the noise emis.i.n.
