AUTOMATIc PATENT DOcUMFNT SUMMARIZATION FOR cOLLABORATIvE KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS AND SERvIcES

Engineering and research teams often develop new products and technologies by referring to inventions described in patent databases. Efficient patent analysis builds R＆D knowledge, reduces new product development time, increases market success, and reduces potential patent infringement. Thus, it is beneficial to automatically and systematically extract information from patent documents in order to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration among R＆D team members. In this research, patents are summarized using a combined ontology based and TF-IDF concept clustering approach. The ontology captures the general knowledge and core meaning of patents in a given domain. Then, the proposed methodology extracts, clusters, and integrates the content of a patent to derive a summary and a cluster tree diagram of key terms. Patents from the International Patent classification （IPc） codes B25c, B25D, B25F （categories for power hand tools） and B24B, c09G and H011 （categories for chemical mechanical polishing） are used as case studies to evaluate the compression ratio, retention ratio, and classification accuracy of the summarization results. The evaluation uses statistics to represent the summary generation and its compression ratio, the ontology based keyword extraction retention ratio, and the summary classification accuracy. The results show that the ontology based approach yields about the same compression ratio as previous non-ontology based research but yields on average an 11% improvement for the retention ratio and a 14% improvement for classification accuracy.

Biomass energy cost and feasibility of gasifier based biomass power generation system

The present research work has been carried out on biomass based on 10 kW capacity gasifier power generation system installed at college of Agricultural Engineering and Technology,*** Deshmukh Agricultural University(***),Akola Maharashtra,*** main objectives were to evaluate various costs and benefits involved in the power generation *** costs of energy per unit were calculated for the first year of *** economics of gasifier based power generation system and thereby the feasibility of the system was examined by estimating per unit cost,Net Present value(NPv),Benefit cost Ratio(BcR),Internal Rate of Return(IRR)and payback *** discount cash flow method was used to find out the *** the present analysis,three costs viz.,installed capital cost,operation and maintenance cost,and levelised replacement cost were examined for the evaluation of the power generation per *** rate on investment in case of subsidy(case I)and in case without subsidy(case II)for installation cost of system was considered as 12.75%.The BcR comes in case I for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h are 1.24,1.18,and 1.13,*** for case II BcR comes 1.44,1.38,and *** IRR comes in case I for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h are 26%,22%,and 19%,*** for case II,IRR comes 52%,44%,and 39%for operating duration of 22 h,20 h,and 16 h,*** payback period in the present analysis was worked *** payback period for biomass based gasifier power generation system was observed to be for case I from three to four years and for case II it was one to two years.

A tunable diode laser absorption spectrometer （TDLAS） for formaldehyde atmospheric measurements has been set up and validated through comparison experiments with a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer （FT-IR） in a simulation *** was generated in situ in the chamber from reaction of ethene with *** HcHO ro-vibrational line intensities （at 2909.71,2912.09 and 2914.46 cm-1） possibly used by TDLAS were calibrated by FT-IR spectra simultaneously recorded in the 1600–3200 cm-1 domain during ethene ozonolysis,enabling the on-line deduction of the varying concentration for HcHO in *** experimental line intensities values inferred confirmed the calculated ones from the updated HITRAN *** addition,the feasibility of stratospheric in situ HcHO measurements using the 2912.09 cm-1 line was *** TDLAS performances were also assessed,leading to a 2σ detection limit of 88 ppt in volume mixing ratio with a response time of 60 sec at 30 Torr and 294 K for 112 m optical *** part of this work,the room-temperature rate constant of this reaction and the HcHO formation yield were found to be in excellent agreement with the compiled literature data.

Genomic analysis uncovers functional variation in the c-terminus of anthocyanin-activating MYB transcription factors

MYB transcription factors regulate diverse aspects of plant development and secondary metabolism,often by partnering in transcriptional regulatory ***,we harness genomic resources to identify novel MYBs,thereby producing an updated eudicot MYB phylogeny with revised relationships among subgroups as well as new information on sequence variation in the disordered c-terminus of anthocyanin-activating ***®and hidden Markov model scans of gene annotations identified a total of 714 MYB transcription factors across the genomes of four crops that span the eudicots:apple,grape,kiwifruit and *** model-based phylogenetic inference identified novel members of previously defined subgroups,and the function of specific anthocyanin-activating subgroup 6 members was assayed transiently in tobacco *** conservation within subgroup 6 highlighted one previously described and two novel short linear motifs in the disordered c-terminal *** novel motifs have a mix of hydrophobic and acidic residues and are predicted to be relatively ordered compared with flanking protein *** of motifs with the Eukaryotic Linear Motif database suggests roles in protein–protein *** of motifs and their flanking regions from strong anthocyanin activators into weak activators,and vice versa,affected *** conclude that,although the MYB c-terminal sequence diverges greatly even within MYB clades,variation within the c-terminus at and near relatively ordered regions offers opportunities for exploring MYB function and developing superior alleles for plant breeding.

Effects of yttria content on the cMAS infiltration resistance of yttria stabilized thermal barrier coatings system

The effects of YO(1.5)doping in yttria-zirconia based thermal barrier coatings(TBcs)against cMAS interaction/infiltration are *** TBcs with an YO(1.5)content ranging from 43–67 mol.%(balance Zr O2)were produced by electron beam physical vapor deposition(EB-PvD)*** results reveal a trend of higher apatite formation probability with the higher free YO(1.5)available in the yttriazirconia ***,the infiltration resistance and amount of consumed coating appears to be strongly dependent on the YO(1.5)content in the *** thinnest reaction layer and lowest infiltration was found for the highest produced 67 YO(1.5)*** XRD experiments with volcanic ash/YO(1.5)powder mixtures with higher yttria contents than in the coatings(80 YO(1.5)and pure YO(1.5))also showed higher apatite formation with respect to increasing yttria *** threshold composition to promote apatite-based reaction products was found to be around 50 YO(1.5)in zirconia which was proved in the coatings and XRD powder *** YO(1.5)-ZrO2-Fe O-TiO2 bearing zirconolite-type phase was formed as a reaction product for all the coating compositions which implicates that TiO2 in the melt acts as a trigger for zirconolite *** phase could be detrimental for cMAS/volcanic ash infiltration resistance since it can be formed alongside with apatite which controls or limits the amount of Y^(3+)available for glass *** Fe rich garnet phase containing all the possible elements exhibited a slower nucleation compared to apatite and its growth was enhanced with slow cooling *** implications of phase stability and heat treatment effects on the reaction products are discussed for tests performed at 1250°c.

A global enterprise must continuously improve the efficiency of logistic operations between supply chain collaborators. Integrating logistic services, resources, and necessary information flows in the supply chain to ensure efficiency and efficacy is critically important to these companies. Global logistic service companies face challenges from their clients to provide logistic services that are cost effective, accurate, and seamlessly integrate material, information and cash flows. In this research, an improved framework for one-stop logistic services is systematically designed, analyzed, and evaluated. The one-stop logistic service framework, defmed in four models, is developed to provide enterprises with integrated and comprehensive services within the global supply chain context. The levels of service importance are assessed using a four categories questionnaire. This research provides a case study of the implementation of one-stop logistic services in the distribution industry and demonstrates the framework operating under different demand conditions. Finally, system dynamics causal evaluation is used to evaluate the advantages of the logistic service framework.

The progress made by the scientific community in emerging photovoltaic technologies over the past two decades has been outstanding. Numerous methods have been developed for the preparation of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskite solar cells. The power conversion efficiency has been up to 14% by a one-step vacuum deposition technique. A serious concern is the toxicity of the materials. In this review, several methods aimed at resolving these problems to some extent have been compiled, including eco-friendly synthesis. Further efficiency enhancements are expected following optimization, and a better fundamental understanding of the internal electron charge transfer, electron–hole diffusion to the corresponding layers, flexibility, and stability-dependent bandgaps is reported. This paper explores the green synthesis of organic–inorganic perovskites for industrialization. concerning the above facts, a simple low-cost model called‘‘dispersed photovoltaic cells' ' is presented.

Theoretical and Experimental Study on the Adsorption and Desorption of Methane by Granular Activated carbon at 25℃

A theoretical and experimental study was conducted to accurately determine the amount of adsorption and desorption of methane by various Granular Activated carbon （GAc） under different physical conditions. To carry out the experiments, the volumetric method was used up to 500 psia at constant temperature of 25℃. In these experiments, adsorption as well as desorption capacities of four different GAc in the adsorption of methane, the major constituent of natural gas, at various equilibrium pressures and a constant temperature were studied. Also, various adsorption isotherm models were used to model the experimental data collected from the experiments. The accuracy of the results obtained from the adsorption isotherm models was compared and the values for the regressed parameters were reported. The results shows that the physical characteristics of activated carbons such as BET surface area, micropore volume, packing density, and pore size distribution play an important role in the amount of methane to be adsorbed and desorbed.
