Time-delay effect and design of closed-loop control system of circulation control airfoil

In this paper,unsteady numerical simulation of jet Circulation Control(CC)is carried out with the NACA0012-CC airfoil as the research *** dynamic process from the opening of jet slot and adjustment of jet intensity to the stable state of jet control effect is *** time-delay effect and flow mechanism of jet are *** mechanism of jet momentum coefficient and moment coefficient fluctuating with time is *** fluctuation of jet momentum coefficient is caused by the change of the pressure coefficient distribution on the Coanda surface or the structure of the wave system inside the jet,and the oscillation frequency of the wave system structure of the under-expansion supersonic jet reaches 1481 Hz at the opening *** on the aerodynamic model and Proportional-Integral-Derivative(PID)control theory,the closed-loop control system of CC airfoil is *** parameters of PID control system are adjusted by the Genetic Algorithm(GA),which significantly improves the response ability of the control system to step,ramp and sine signals,and improves the dynamic performance of the *** at the special time-delay effect of jet control,Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)neural network module is added to the control system to predict the target input signal,which strengthens the prediction ability of GA-PID control system to the target signal at the next time *** using LSTM neural network correction,the control hysteresis caused by jet time-delay effect is alleviated,and the response ability of the control system is effectively ***,the designed LSTM-GA-PID control system is applied to the NACA0012-CC airfoil for the pitch control simulation *** test results show that the control system designed in this paper has good dynamic performance and can respond quickly and accurately to complex input signals,which confirms the effectiveness of the control system.

Serial remote sensing images offer a valuable means of tracking the evolutionary changes and growth of a specific geographical area over *** the original images may provide limited insights,they harbor considerable potential for identifying clusters and *** aggregation of these serial remote sensing images(SRSI)becomes increasingly viable as distinct patterns emerge in diverse scenarios,such as suburbanization,the expansion of native flora,and agricultural *** a novel approach,we propose an innovative method for extracting sequential patterns by combining Ant Colony Optimization(ACD)and Empirical Mode Decomposition(EMD).This integration of the newly developed EMD and ACO techniques proves remarkably effective in identifying the most significant characteristic features within serial remote sensing images,guided by specific *** findings highlight a substantial improvement in the efficiency of sequential pattern mining through the application of this unique hybrid method,seamlessly integrating EMD and ACO for feature *** study exposes the potential of our innovative methodology,particularly in the realms of urbanization,native vegetation expansion,and agricultural activities.

Studies on batch adsorptive removal of cadmium and nickel from synthetic waste water using silty clay originated from Balochistan-Pakistan

The potentials of silty clay(SC),acquired from Chaman,Balochistan,were investigated as adsorbent for Ni(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)removal from contaminated *** influence of different operating factors like dose,pH,temperature,and time of contact was explored,and optimum values were noted under batch adsorption *** study was conducted with varying concentrations of solutions on optimized conditions and different adsorption models i.e.,Langmuir,Freundlich,Temkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich(D-R)isotherm,which were employed to interpret the *** isothermal data of both Ni(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)were well fitted to Langmuir isotherm suggesting the formation of monolayer of metal ions on silty *** values of adsorption capacity noted for Ni(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ)were 3.603 mg·g^-1 and 5.480 mg·g^-1,*** studies affirmed that pseudo second order(PSO)kinetics was being obeyed by the removal of Ni(Ⅱ)and Cd(Ⅱ).Thermodynamic variables like free energy change(ΔG°),enthalpy change(ΔH°)and entropy change(ΔS°)were *** negative value ofΔG°and the positive values ofΔH°andΔS°unfolded that the removal process of both metal ions of by SC was spontaneous,endothermic and feasible.

Synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles reinforced clay and their applications for removal of Pb(II)ions from aqueous media

The aim of the study was to synthesize zinc oxide nanoparticles(ZnONPs)composite with clay by a novel route and then to explore the capability of composite of ZnONPs and silty clay(SC)as adsorbents for Pb(II)eradication from aqueous media by batch adsorption *** effect of different operating factors like temperature,pH,dose and time of contact on the adsorption process were studied to optimize the ***,Freundlich,Dubinin-Radushkevich(DR)and Temkin isotherms were applied for the interpretation of the *** R^(2)and q values obtained from Langmuir model suggested that the process is best interpreted by this *** values of adsorption capacity(qm)noted were 12.43 mg·g^(-1) and 14.54 mg·g^(-1)on SC and ZnONPsSC *** kinetic studies exposed that pseudo second order(PSO)kinetics is followed by the processes suggesting that more than one steps are involved to control the rate of *** thermodynamic variables such as change in free energy(AGe),change in enthalpy(AH9)and change in entropy(ASe)were *** data suggested that Pb(II)adsorption on SC and ZnONPsSC are spontaneous,endothermic and feasible processes.

The Robogymnast is a highly complex,three-link system based on the triple-inverted pendulum and is modelled on the human example of a gymnast suspended by their hands from the high bar and executing larger and larger upswings to eventually rotate *** links of the Robogymnast correspond respectively to the arms,trunk,and lower limbs of the gymnast,and from its three joints,one is under passive operation,while the remaining two are *** passive top joint poses severe challenges in attaining the smooth movement control needed to operate the Robogymnast *** study assesses four types of controllers used for systems operation and identifies how far response stabilisation is achieved with *** system is simulated using MATLAB Simulink,with findings generated regarding rising and settling time,as well as *** research primarily seeks to exam-ine the application of a linear quadratic regulator controller,proportional-integral-derivative controller,fuzzy linear quadratic regulator controller and linear quadratic regulator-proportional-integral-derivative controller for this type of system and comparisons between the different controllers to demon-strate successful performance,which highlights the claimed advantages of the proposed system.

Cloud computing has attracted significant interest due to the increasing service demands from organizations offloading computationally intensive tasks to ***,datacenter infrastructure comprises hardware resources that consume high amount of energy and give out carbon emissions at hazardous *** cloud datacenter,Virtual Machines(VMs)need to be allocated on various Physical Machines(PMs)in order to minimize resource wastage and increase energy *** allocation problem is *** finding an exact solution is complicated especially for large-scale *** this con text,this paper proposes an Energy-oriented Flower Pollination Algorithm(E-FPA)for VM allocation in cloud datacenter environments.A system framework for the scheme was developed to enable energy-oriented allocation of various VMs on a *** allocation uses a strategy called Dynamic Switching Probability(DSP).The framework finds a near optimal solution quickly and balances the exploration of the global search and exploitation of the local *** considers a processor,storage,and memory constraints of a PM while prioritizing energy-oriented allocation for a set of *** performed on MultiRecCloudSim utilizing planet workload show that the E-FPA outperforms the Genetic Algorithm for Power-Aware(GAPA)by 21.8%,Order of Exchange Migration(OEM)ant colony system by 21.5%,and First Fit Decreasing(FFD)by 24.9%.Therefore,E-FPA significantly improves datacenter performance and thus,enhances environmental sustainability.

This study aims to examine the effect of replacing vanadium by niobium and iron on the tribological behavior of hot-isostatic-pressed titanium alloy （Ti-6Al-4V） biomaterial, using a ball-on-disk-type oscillating tribometer, under wet conditions using physiological solution in accordance with the ISO7148 standards. The tests were carried out under a normal load of 6 N, with an AISI 52100 grade steel ball as a counter face. The morphological changes and structural evolution of the nanoparticle powders using different milling times （2, 6, 12 and 18 h） were studied. The morphological characterization indicated that the particle and crystallite size continuously decrease with increasing milling time to reach the lowest value of 4 nm at 18-h milling. The friction coefficient and wear rate were lower in the samples milled at 18 h （0.226, 0.297 and 0.423; and 0.66 × 10-2, 0.87 × 10-2 and 1.51 × 10-2 μm3 N-1 i, tm-1） for Ti-6Al-4Fe, Ti-6A1-7Nb and Ti-6Al-4V, respectively. This improvement in friction and wear resistance is attributed to the grain refinement at 18-h milling. The Ti-6Al-4Fe samples showed good tribological performance for all milling times.

Local Trade Networks among Farmers and Traders

Both farmers and traders benefit from trade networking, which is crucial for the local economy. Therefore, it is crucial to understand how these networks operate, and how they can be managed more effectively. Throughout this study, we examine the economic networks formed between farmers and traders through the trade of food products. These networks are analyzed from the perspective of their structure and the factors that influence their development. Using data from 18 farmers and 15 traders, we applied exponential random graph models. The results of our study showed that connectivity, Popularity Spread, activity spread, good transportation systems, and high yields all affected the development of networks. Therefore, farmers’ productivity and high market demand can contribute to local food-crop trade. The network was not affected by reciprocity, open markets, proximity to locations, or trade experience of actors. Policy makers should consider these five factors when formulating policies for local food-crop trade. Additionally, local actors should be encouraged to use these factors to improve their network development. However, it is important to note that these factors alone cannot guarantee success. Policy makers and actors must also consider other factors such as legal frameworks, economic policies, and resource availability. Our approach can be used in future research to determine how traders and farmers can enhance productivity and profit in West Africa. This study addresses a research gap by examining factors influencing local food trade in a developing country.
