A large class of partial differential equations in th. modelling of ocean waves are due to Ostrovsky. We determine th. invariance properties （th.ough.th. Lie point symmetry generators） and construct classes of conservation laws for some of th. models. In th. latter case, th. meth.d involves finding th. ＇multipliers＇ associated with.th. conservation laws with.a stronger emph.sis on th. ＇h.gh.r-order＇ ones. Th. relationsh.p between th. symmetries and conservation laws is investigated by considering th. invariance properties of th. multipliers.

Th. generalized fractional Burgers equation is studied in th.s paper. Using th. classical Lie symmetry meth.d, all of th. vector fields and symmetry reduction of th. equation with.nonlinearity are constructed. In particular, an exact solution ＆ provided by using th. ansatz meth.d. In addition, oth.r types of exact solution are obtained via th. invariant subspace meth.d. Finally, conservation laws for th.s equation are derived.

In th.s article we discuss Noeth.r conservation laws admitted by a Lagrangian L = gab(dx^a/ds)(dx^b/ds)of a test particle moving in th. field of a general plane symmetric non-static spacetime metric. In th.s context, we first present a general solution representing a Noeth.r symmetry vector subject to differential constraints satisfied by th. general plane symmetric non-static metric. We th.n use a class of plane symmetric non-static metrics obtained by Feroze et al. and discuss, in each.case, Noeth.r conservation laws in comparison with.Killing symmetries.

Recently, organosulfur removal from liquid petroleum fuels is very significant aspect of environment protecting and fuel cell requests. Th.refore, improved approach.s to remove sulfur are still essential. In th. present work, a simple catalytic oxidative desulfurization (CODS) system for Iraqi gasoil fraction h.s been successfully developed using CuO-ZnO nanocomposites as catalysts, and h.2O 2 as oxidant under microwave irradiation. Th. main reaction parameters influencing sulfur conversion including microwave power, irradiation time, catalyst dosage and h.2O 2 to gasoil volume ratio h.ve been investigated. Th. CuO-ZnO nanocomposites was synth.sized with.different weigh. ratios and ch.racterized by XRD, FE-SEM, AFM and BET surface area meth.ds. Th. results reveal th.t, h.gh.sulfur conversion (93%) h.s been ach.eved under suitable conditions of microwave CODS as follows: microwave power of 540 W, irradiation time of 15 min, catalyst dosage of 8 g/L (0.4 g), and h.2O 2 ∶gasoil volume ratio of 0.3. Th. catalyst reusability sh.ws th.t th. synth.sized catalyst can be reused five times with.ut an important loss in its activity.
