BACKGROUND Microsatellite instability(MSI)is a predictive biomarker for cancer *** tumor-agnostic nature of MSI makes it a denominator for immunotherapy in several solid *** can be assessed using next-generation sequencing(NGS),fluorescent multiplex PCR,and immunohistochemistry(IHC).CASE SUMMARy Here,we report 3 cases with discordant MSI results detected using different methods.A cholangiocellular carcinoma case revealed proficient mismatch repair(MMR)by IHC but high MSI(MSI-H)by liquid NGS.A cervical cancer case revealed deficient MMR by IHC,microsatellite stable by PCR,and MSI-H by ***,an endometrial cancer case revealed proficient MMR by IHC but MSI-H by *** IHC for MMR status is the first choice due to several ***,in cases of indeterminate IHC results,molecular testing by MSI-PCR is ***,NGS-based MSI assays are being widely used to detect MSI-H *** three methods have high accuracy;however,the inconsistencies between them may lead to misdiagnosis.

Mg-y-Ni alloys with different second phases were designed by changing y/Ni atomic ratio from 1.5 to *** microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast and as-extruded alloys were *** as-cast Mg-y-Ni alloy with y/Ni ratio of 1.5 is composed ofα-Mg and long period stacking ordered(LPSO)*** y/Ni ratio is equal to 1,nanoscale lamellarγ’phase and eutectic Mg2Ni phase are formed in addition to LPSO *** y/Ni ratio decreases further,the amount of eutectic Mg2Ni phase increases,while the amount of LPSO phase *** extrusion,the LPSO andγ’phases are distributed along the extrusion direction,while eutectic Mg2Ni phase is broken and dispersed in the as-extruded *** phase and Mg2Ni phase in the alloys promote dynamic recrystallization(DRX)during extrusion,whileγ’phase inhibits ***,the Mg96y2Ni2(at.%)alloy with LPSO phase andγ’phase as the main second phases shows the strongest basal texture after *** tensile yield strength of the as-extruded Mg-y-Ni alloys increases first and then decreases with decreasing y/Ni *** as-extruded Mg96y2Ni2(at.%)alloy with y/Ni=1 exhibits excellent mechanical properties with tensile yield strength of 465 MPa,ultimate tensile strength of 510 MPa and elongation to failure of 7.2%,which is attributed to the synergistic effect of bulk LPSO phase and nanoscaleγ’phase.

In this study,a numerical method based on the Pell-Lucas polynomials(PLPs)is developed to solve the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment *** HIV/AIDS mathematical model with a treatment compartment is divided into five classes,namely,susceptible patients(S),HIV-positive individuals(I),individuals with full-blown AIDS but not receiving ARV treatment(A),individuals being treated(T),and individuals who have changed their sexual habits sufficiently(R).According to the method,by utilizing the PLPs and the collocation points,we convert the fractional order HIV/AIDS epidemic model with a treatment compartment into a nonlinear system of the algebraic ***,the error analysis is presented for the Pell-Lucas approximation *** aim of this study is to observe the behavior of five populations after 200 days when drug treatment is applied to HIV-infectious and full-blown AIDS *** demonstrate the usefulness of this method,the applications are made on the numerical example with the help of *** addition,four cases of the fractional order derivative(p=1,p=0.95,p=0.9,p=0.85)are examined in the range[0,200].Owing to applications,we figured out that the outcomes have quite decent ***,we understand that the errors decrease when the value of N *** figures in this study are created in *** outcomes indicate that the presented method is reasonably sufficient and correct.

Friction stir welding （FSW） of Mg-zn-y-zr plates with 6 mm in thickness was successfully carried out under a wide range of rotation rates of 600-1200 r/rain with a constant traverse speed of 100 mm/min. After FSW, the coarse grains in the parent material （PM） were changed into fine equiaxed recrystallized grains at the＇nugget zone （Nz）. Furthermore, the coarse Mg-zn-y particles （W-phase） were broken up and dispersed homogenously into the Mg matrix. With increasing rotation rates, the size of the W-phase particles at the Nz significantly decreased, but the recrystallized grain size tended to increase. The hardness values of the Nzs for all the FSW joints were higher than those of the PM, and the lowest hardness values were detected in the heat affected zone （HAz）. The fracture occurred in the thermo-mechanical affected zone （TMAz） on the advancing side for all the FSW joints in the tensile test, due to the incompatibility of the plastic deformation between the Nz and TMAz caused by remarkably different orientation of grains and W-phase particles. The structural,vibrational and electronic properties of warfarin sodium,warfarin and its metabolites have been investigated theoretically by performing the molecular mechanics(MM+force field),the semi-empirical self-consistent-field molecular-orbital(AM1),and density functional theory *** geometry of the molecules have been optimized,the vibrational dynamics and the electronic properties of the molecules have been calculated in their ground state in gas phase.

Superconductor mixed oxides were often used as catalysts at higher temperature in gas phase oxidations, and considered not suitable for lower temperature reactions in the liquid-solid phase; here the catalysis of yBa2Cu3O7+/-x and y2BaCuO5+/-x in the phenol hydroxylation at lower temperature with H2O2 as oxygen donor was studied, and found that the superconductor yBa2Cu3O7+/-x, has no catalytic activity for phenol hydroxylation, but y2BaCuO5+/-x does, even has better catalytic activity and stability than most previously reported ones. With the studies of catalysis of other simple metal oxides and perovskite-like mixed oxides, a radical substitution mechanism is proposed and the experimental facts are explained clearly, and draw a conclusion that the perovskite-like mixed oxides with (AO)(ABO(3)) and (AO)2(ABO(3)) structure have better catalytic activity than the simple perovskite oxides with (ABO(3))(3) structure alone, and (AO) structure unit is the key for the mixed oxides to have the phenol hydroxylation activity. No pollution of this process is very important for its further industrial application.

In this study,the workability of cement-based grouts containing n-TiO 2 nanoparticles and fly ash has been investigated *** characteristic quantities(including,but not limited to,the marsh cone flow time,the mini slump spreading diameter and the plate cohesion meter value)have been measured for different percentages of these *** use of fly ash as a mineral additive has been found to result in improvements in terms of workability behavior as ***,if nano titanium oxide is also used,an improvement can be obtained regarding the bleeding values for the cement-based grout *** such experimental data,a multi-layer perceptron artificial neural network model has been developed(5 neurons in the hidden layer of the network model have been developed using a total of 42 experimental data).70%of the data employed in this model have been used for training,15%for validation and 15%for the test *** results demonstrate that the artificial neural network model can predict Marsh cone flow time,mini slump spreading diameter and plate cohesion meter values with an average error of 0.15%.

Effect of y Addition on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Friction Stir Welded zK60 Alloy

6 mm thick zK60 and zK60-y alloy plates were successfully friction stir welded （FSW） at a tool rotation rate of 1200 r/min and a traverse speed of 100 mm/min. FSW resulted in the dissolution of Mgzn2 particles in the zK60 and the breakup and dispersion of W-phase （Mg3zn3y2） particles in the zK60-y alloy, thereby leading; to a decrease in the hardness of the nugget zone （Nz） for the zK60 alloy and an increase in the hardness of the Nz for the zK60-y alloy, respectively. While two FSW joints exhibited similar joint efficiency （87%-89% of ultimate tensile strengths of the parent materials）, the yield strength of the FSW zK60-y joint was substantially higher than that of the FSW zK60 joint. The fracture occurred in the Nz and the heat affected zone for the zK60 and zK60-y joints, respectively, which were consistent with the lowest hardness distribution of the welded joints.

First-principles Study of Point Defects in Stoichiometric and Non-stoichiometric y_4Al_2O_9

By using the first-principles calculation, we studied the mechanisms of point defects in y4AI209 （yAM）, a promising ternary oxide with excellent optical and thermal properties. It is found that the predominant native defect species is closely dependent on the chemical potentials of each constituent. In the case of O-rich condition, the oxygen interstitial has the very low defect formation energy, followed by the anti-site defects and AI vacancy; in the case of AI-rich condition, the oxygen vacancy yields the lowest defect formation energy, followed by the anti-site defects and AI interstitial. The present result shows that in all the possible chemical potential ranges, anti-site defects have relatively low defect formation energy and might exist in high concentration in yAM. Furthermore, AIy anti-site has relatively lower defect formation energy than the yAt anti- site throughout. The behaviors of defect complexes under non-stoichiometric condition, such as the AI203 or y203 excess, are also investigated. The results provide helpful guide to optimize the experimental synthesizing of yAM.
