Objective:To assess the effect of memantine combined with liraglutide on aluminum chloride(AlCl_(3))and D-galactose(D-GAL)-induced neurotoxicity in ***:male Wistar rats were divided into 5 groups of 5 animals each:the positive control,the negative control,the memantine-treated group,the liraglutide-treated group,and the combination group treated with memantine and ***_(3)and D-GAL were used to induce *** tests,brain beta-amyloid protein,and oxidative stress biomarkers were ***:The morris water maze test indicated an enhanced memory in the combination ***,the combination treatment of liraglutide and memantine resulted in a remarkable reduction in the beta-amyloid protein level in the brain *** inflammation and oxidative stress biomarkers were significantly reduced,and the levels of antioxidant parameters were ***:The combination of liraglutide and memantine exerts neuroprotective effects and enhances memory and cognitive functions in rats with Alzheimer’s disease.

The effect of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity on steady magnetohydrodynamic（mHD） heat and mass transfer flow of viscous and incompressible fluid near a stagnation point towards a permeable stretching sheet embedded in a porous medium are presented,taking into account thermal radiation and internal heat genberation/*** stretching velocity and the ambient fluid velocity are assumed to vary linearly with the distance from the stagnation *** Rosseland approximation is used to describe the radiative heat flux in the energy *** governing fundamental equations are first transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations using a scaling group of transformations and are solved numerically by using the fourth-order Rung-Kutta method with the shooting technique.A comparison with previously published work has been carried out and the results are found to be in good *** results are analyzed for the effect of different physical parameters,such as the variable viscosity and thermal conductivity,the ratio of free stream velocity to stretching velocity,the magnetic field,the porosity,the radiation and suction/injection on the flow,and the heat and mass transfer *** results indicate that the inclusion of variable viscosity and thermal conductivity into the fluids of light and medium molecular weight is able to change the boundary-layer behavior for all values of the velocity ratio parameter λ except for λ = *** addition,the imposition of fluid suction increases both the rate of heat and mass transfer,whereas fluid injection shows the opposite effect.

A numerical study is performed to investigate the flow and heat transfer at the surface of a permeable wedge immersed in a copper （Cu）-water-based nanofluid in the presence of magnetic field and viscous dissipation using a nanofluid model proposed by Tiwari and Das （Tiwari I K and Das m K 2007 Int. J. Heatmass Transfer 50 2002）. A similarity solution for the transformed governing equation is obtained, and those equations are solved by employing a numerical shooting technique with a fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration scheme. A comparison with previously published work is carried out and shows that they are in good agreement with each other. The effects of velocity ratio parameter ~, solid volume fraction tp, magnetic field m, viscous dissipation Ec, and suction parameter Fw on the fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics are discussed. The unique and dual solutions for self-similar equations of the flow and heat transfer are analyzed numerically. moreover, the range of the velocity ratio parameter for which the solution exists increases in the presence of magnetic field and suction parameter.

The capability of piles to withstand horizontal loads is a major design *** current research work aims to investigate numerically the responses of laterally loaded piles at working load employing the concept of a beam-on-Winkler-foundation *** governing differential equation for a laterally loaded pile on elastic subgrade is *** on LegendreGalerkin method and Runge-Kutta formulas of order four and five,the flexural equation of long piles embedded in homogeneous sandy soils with modulus of subgrade reaction linearly variable with depth is solved for both free-and fixed-headed ***,as one of the world’s leading computational software,was employed for the implementation of *** proposed numerical techniques provide the responses for the entire pile length under the applied lateral *** utilized numerical approaches are validated against experimental and analytical results of previously published works showing a more accurate estimation of the response of laterally loaded ***,the proposed approaches can maintain both mathematical simplicity and comparable accuracy with the experimental results.

AIm:To propose a surgical technique that successfully reopened the empty and intact capsular bag after long periods of closure,with repositioning of the intraocular lens(IOL)from the ciliary sulcus into its preferred habitat inside the capsular ***:This is a case series,prospective,and interventional *** technique was first performed on an aphakic high myope with a closed posterior capsule for 18 ***,five patients with recurrently displaced sulcus IOLs for a range of 1 mo to 7 y were performed for the same *** surgery,identifying a"telltale white line"was an important landmark for detecting the site of major adhesions between the edge of the capsulorhexis and the posterior *** adhesions were freed using combined manual and viscoelastic dissection,followed by an easier freeing of adhesions along the whole capsular *** IOL was safely implanted,exchanged,or introduced from the sulcus into the fibrotic and closed capsular *** were followed up for a period ranging from 6 to 17 mo ***:All the patients experienced a remarkable improvement in their subjective *** lamp examination showed a postoperative centralized IOL in the *** follow up visits confirmed visual and IOL ***:This newly-introduced surgical technique facilitates the reopening of the empty yet intact capsular bag that has been closed by fibrotic proliferations,with secured implantation of the IOL inside the capsular *** with inadvertent implantation of IOLs into the ciliary sulcus,yet having an intact capsular bag,can benefit from this technique.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)provide a reliable and energyefficient solution for data collection from the Narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT)***,the UAV’s deployment optimization,including locations of the UAV’s stop points,is a necessity to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV and the NB-IoT devices and also to conduct the data collection *** this regard,this paper proposes GainingSharing Knowledge(GSK)algorithm for optimizing the UAV’s *** GSK,the number of UAV’s stop points in the three-dimensional space is encapsulated into a single individual with a fixed length representing an entire *** superiority of using GSK in the tackled problem is verified by simulation in seven *** provides significant results in all seven scenarios compared with other four optimization algorithms used before with the same ***,the NB-IoT is proposed as the wireless communication technology between the UAV and IoT devices.

The fifth generation(5G)system is the forthcoming generation of the mobile communication *** has numerous additional features and offers an extensively high data rate,more capacity,and low ***,these features and applications have many problems and issues in terms of security,which has become a great challenge in the telecommunication *** paper aimed to propose a solution to preserve the user identity privacy in the 5G system that can identify permanent identity by using Variable mobile Subscriber Identity,which randomly changes and does not use the permanent identity between the user equipment and home *** this mechanism,the user identity privacy would be secured and ***,it improves the synchronization between mobile users and home ***,its compliance with the Authentication and Key Agreement(AKA)structure was adopted in the previous *** can be deployed efficiently in the preceding generations because the current architecture imposes minimal modifications on the network parties without changes in the authentication vector’s message ***,the addition of any hardware to the AKA carries minor adjustments on the network *** this paper,the ProVerif is used to verify the proposed scheme.

Objectives: To use a novel in vitro model of three-dimensional(3D) neurosphere cultures to assess neurotoxic or neuroprotective effects with harmane as a model ***: A reproducible model of 3D spheroids was developed from embryonic mouse cortical neurons,using molded agarose micro-wells;this method seems particularly practical as it is customizable and widely available and does not require specific cell treatments or assay components different from 2D cultures, allowing for the easy transposition of routine protocols. To assess the neurotoxic effects of harmane, a resazurin assay was performed to measure cell viability, and a highly sensitive fluorometric method, based on the oxidation of dichlorodihydrofluorescein, was applied to measure eventually induced reactive oxygen species(ROS) after exposure to harmane at increasing concentrations of 50 100,and 250 μ***: Hydrogel microwells facilitated the assembly of spheroids containing neurons and glial cells into a complex 3D structure and prevented the agglomeration of spheroids. Exposure to harmane induced cytotoxicity in 3D neural spheroids, which was correlated with harmane concentrations, with a 27%reduction in viability at 250 μm. Harmane that did not induce significant levels of oxidative stress was detected for all tested ***: This 3D neurosphere model mimics a neuronal microenvironment, allowing a fine study of neurodegenerative disorders and the effects of chemicals on the brain. This model opens novel opportunities, not only from a pathogenetic point of view but also from a therapeutic perspective.

Carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)is a hepatotoxin that triggers liver *** study aimed to evaluate the protective effect of phytochemicals detected in moringa oleifera *** extract(mOLE)on CCl4-induced hepatotoxicity in ***,total phenolics,and total fl avonoids were detected in *** markedly decreased the elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)in consistence with the ameliorating effect on CCl4-induced histopathological ***,mOLE significantly alleviated the decrease in the antioxidant defense mechanism induced by *** suppressing effect of mOLE on the boosted inflammatory pathway triggered by CCl4 was detected by measuring the protein levels of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B-cells(NF-κB-p65),toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-6,IL-1β,and IL-8 as well as the relative expressions of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB),TNF-α,IL-1β,and TLR4 *** and genotoxicity induced by CCl4 were signifi cantly alleviated by *** co-administration modulated TLR4/NF-κB pathway as presented by the suppressed gene expression of TLR4 and NF-κB as well as by the reduced protein expression of TLR4 and NF-κ*** conclusion,mOLE has a multifarious protective role against hepatotoxicity through control of oxidative stress and modulation of TLR4/NF-κB.
