Background Pediatric post coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)condition(PPCC)is a heterogeneous syndrome,which can significantly affect the daily lives of *** study aimed to identify clinically meaningful phenotypes in children with PPCC,to better characterize and treat this *** Participants were children with physician-diagnosed PPCC,referred to the academic hospital Amsterdam UmC in the Netherlands between November 2021 and march *** factors and information on post-COVID symptoms,comorbidities,and impact on daily life were *** clusters were identified using an unsupervised and unbiased approach for mixed data *** Analysis of 111 patients(aged 3–18 years)revealed three distinct clusters within *** 1(n=62,median age=15 years)predominantly consisted of girls(74.2%).These patients suffered relatively more from exercise intolerance,dyspnea,and smell *** 2(n=33,median age=13 years)contained patients with an even gender distribution(51.5%girls).They suffered from relatively more sleep problems,memory loss,gastrointestinal symptoms,and *** 3(n=16,median age=11 years)had a higher proportion of boys(75.0%),suffered relatively more from fever,had significantly fewer symptoms(median of 5 symptoms compared to 8 and 10 for clusters 1 and 2 respectively),and experienced a lower impact on daily *** This study identified three distinct clinical PPCC phenotypes,with variations in sex,age,symptom patterns,and impact on daily *** findings highlight the need for further research to understand the potentially diverse underlying mechanisms contributing to post-COVID symptoms in children.

Surgical management of mitral Valve Infective Endocarditis with Accidental Finding of Open Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Objective: This case report aimed to highlight intersections of TB and Cardiovasular diseases which carry high morbidity and mortality rates. methods: We are reporting the surgical management of forty seven years female who had back ground history of IDDm (Insulin dependent diabetic mellitus), ESRD (End stage renal disease) on HD (haemodialysis) also she had left subclavian artery stenosis, and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. She was diagnosed with mitral valve infective endocarditis and found accidently to have an open pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) on the day before surgery. Results: She was started on first line anti-TB treatment. She was isolated in her private room and airborne precautions measures applied. The patient underwent a tissue mitral Valve replacement and tricuspid valve repair annuloplasty. Special precautions were applied in Theatre and on cardiopulmonary bypass machine guided by KAmC-J disinfection protocol. The patient made good recovery postoperatively. She was discharged well on day 7 post operatively. Conclusion: Intersections of TB and cardiovasular diseases carry high morbidity and mortality rates. Early diagnosis and early anti tuberculosis treatment can surely improve the patient prognosis. Our decontamination and disinfective procedures are recommended. Cases like this should be monitored long term for the development of further cardiovascular complication.

Study on Flavonoids and Triterpenoids Content of some Euphorbiaceae Plants

The Spurge family （Euphorbiaceae） is a large family of flowering plants. Two plant species of this family were collected from the Egyptian desert, extracted with methanol subjected to silica gel column chromatography to give six compounds, three compounds from each plant. The compounds isolated from the methanol extract of Euphorbia retusa Forssk were identified as kaempferol-3-beta-D glucopyranosyl （1）, 3-O-alpha-L-xylopyranosyl （1→3）-alpha-L xylopyranosyl （1→2）, beta-D glucopyranosyllup 1,12-diene-3,21-diol （2） and 5,7,8,3＇,4＇-pentahydroxy-3-methoxyflavone （3） and the compounds isolated from Euphorbia paralais L. identified as 3,5,3＇-trihydroxy-6,7-d-methoxy-4＇（7＂-hydroxygeranyl-1＂-ether） flavones （4）, 3-O-syringic acid （1→4）-alpha-L- xylopyranosyl （1→3）, beta-D-rahminopyranosyl hederagenin （5） and 3-O-syringic acid （1→4）, beta-D-rahminopyranosyl （1→3）,beta-D-rahminopyranosyl hederagenin （6）. The structure of the isolated compounds was elucidated by chemical and spectrometric analysis such as Infera red （IR）, proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance （1H-, 13C-NmR） and chemical ionization mass spectrometry （CI-mS）.

With the aim of enhancing the value of local building materials, the subject of this paper is a thermophysical study of natural Chadian clay from the eastern region of Chad, “Abeche”. Samples were taken from a brickwork in Abeche from a depth of 1 m, then using a clay brick-making press, 4 × 5 × 8 cm3 clay test tubes were made with 2%, 4%, 6% and 8% cow dung, and a 100% clay sample was used as a control. These samples underwent thermophysical characterization using the hot-wire method with a hot-plane option, yielding results that could improve thermophysical performance. The thermal conductivity of the test sample is in the order of 0.715 to 0.420 W/m. K, at 8% for cow dung, so the addition of cow dung as a percentage in the clay matrix enabled us to obtain various satisfactory thermal parameters.

Copper Delivery by the Copper Chaperone for Chloroplast and Cytosolic Copper/Zinc- Superoxide Dismutases： Regulation and Unexpected Phenotypes in an Arabidopsis mutant

Copper （Cu） is an important mineral nutrient found in chloroplasts as a cofactor associated with plastocyanin and Cu/Zn superoxide dismutase （Cu/ZnSOD）. Superoxide dismutases are metallo-enzymes found in most oxygenic organisms with proposed roles in reducing oxidative stress. Several recent studies in Arabidopsis have shown that microRNAs and a SQUAmOSA promoter binding protein-like7 （SPL7） transcription factor function to down-regulate the expression of many Cu-proteins, including Cu/ZnSOD in both plastids and the cytosol, during growth on low Cu. Plants contain the Cu Chaperone for SOD （CCS） that delivers Cu to Cu/ZnSODs, and, in Arabidopsis, both cytosolic and plastidic CCS versions are encoded by one gene. In this study, we demonstrate that Arabiclopsis CCS transcript levels are regulated by Cu, mediated by microRNA 398 that was not previously predicted to target CCS. The microRNA target site is conserved in CCS of Oryza sativa. The data suggest that Cu-regulated microRNAs may have more mRNA targets than was previously predicted. A CCS null mutant has no measurable SOD activity in the chloroplast and cytosol, indicating an absolute requirement for CCS. When the CCS null mutant was grown on high Cu media, it lacked both Fe superoxide dismutase （FeSOD） and Cu/ZnSOD activity. However, this did not lead to a visual phenotype and no photosynthetic deficiencies were detected, even after high light stress. These results indicate that Cu/ZnSOD is not a pivotal component of the photosynthetic anti-oxidant system during growth in laboratory conditions.

Impact of wastewater reuse on cobalt status in Egyptian environment

Cobalt is used in the manufacture of alloys, catalysts in the petroleum industry, catalytic converters, and paint pigments. Thus the potential for Co releases into the environment is highly increased. Use of waste sludges and sewage effluent to fertilize and irrigate soils has also increased soil Co concentrations. Total cobalt contents of alluvial delta soil of Egypt show considerable variation ranging from 13.1 to 64.7 ppm. The impact of either wastewater irrigation or industrial activities on soil total Co was obvious due to accumulation of organic matter and solid waste in the surface soil samples. Food crops and vegetables should not be grown on soil highly contaminated by Co. It is noteworthy that the delayed neutron activation analysis(DNAA) technique could be used successfully for total Co determination due to its high sensitivity. It is quit clearly that dust samples of Cairo City contains higher Co level, as compared to Suez Canal Region(Ismailia, Port Said and El-Suez cities). The high values in Cairo City may be due to the existence of industries around the city and the intensive traffic. To minimize Co environmental hazards, waste effluents should be treated on site. Thus, levels of potentially toxic Co needs to be continuously monitored and should be removed during several treatment processes before the disposal of these wastes.

Enhancement of Ride Quality of Quarter Vehicle model by Using mixed H2/H with Pole-Placement

The aim of the present work is to illustrate the application of mixed H2/H∞ control theory with Pole-Placement in de- signing controller for semi-active suspension system. It is well known that the ride comfort is improved by reducing vehicle body acceleration generated by road disturbance. In order to study this phenomenon, Two Degrees of Freedom (DOF) in state space vehicle model was built in. However, the role of H is to minimize the disturbance effect on the output while H2 is used to improve the input of controller. Linear matrix Inequality (LmI) technique is used to calculate the dynamic controller parameters. The simulation results show that the H2 and H techniques can effectively control the vibration of vehicle system where the reduction of suspension working space, dynamic tire load and body acceleration. moreover, the simulation results show that the (RmS) of suspension working space was reduced by 44.5%, body acceleration and dynamic tire load are reduced by 18.5% and 20% respectively.

A ROUGH SET APPROACH TO FEATURE SELECTION BASED ON SCATTER SEARCH mETAHEURISTIC

Rough set theory is an effective method to feature selection, which has recently fascinated many researchers. The essence of rough set approach to feature selection is to find a subset of the original features. It is, however, an NP-hard problem finding a minimal subset of the features, and it is necessary to investigate effective and efficient heuristic algorithms. This paper presents a novel rough set approach to feature selection based on scatter search metaheuristic. The proposed method, called scatter search rough set attribute reduction （SSAR）, is illustrated by 13 well known datasets from UCI machine learning repository. The proposed heuristic strategy is compared with typical attribute reduction methods including genetic algorithm, ant colony, simulated annealing, and Tabu search. Computational results demonstrate that our algorithm can provide efficient solution to find a minimal subset of the features and show promising and competitive performance on the considered datasets.

Effect of Heat Input on the microstructure and Properties of Dissimilar Weld Joint Between Incoloy 28 and Superaustenitic Stainless Steel

Abstract This work focuses on studying the effect of welding heat input within the range from 1 to 5 kJ/mm on the microstructure and the corresponding mechanical and corrosion properties of dissimilar joint between superaustenitic stainless steel （UNS S31254） and Incoloy 28 （UNS N08028）. The two materials were butt-welded with ER NiCrmo3. The metallurgical changes associated with welding of SASS and Incoloy 28 were studied using optical microscope, SEm, and EDX. The mechanical and corrosion properties were investigated using tensile test, Vickers hardness test, and pitting and crevice corrosion tests. The weld metal microstructure showed precipitates with needle-like shape at 3 and 5 kJ/mm. Also, the microstructure showed unmixed zone （UmZ） at the fusion line of both SASS and Incoloy 28 sides at all the investigated heat inputs. The mo microsegregation within UmZ at Incoloy 28 side increased as the heat input increased from 1 to 5 k J/ram but that in SASS increased with increasing heat input from 1 to 3 kJ/mm and then decreased with increasing from 3 to 5 kJ/mm. The ultimate tensile strengths for all specimens at all the investigated heat inputs are acceptable. The average hardness noticeably changed in weld metal as the heat input increased from 1 to 5 kJ/mm. Other zones such as HAZ or UmZ did not demonstrate marked changes in the average hardness. The pitting and crevice corrosion rates of the weld joint were found significant at l and 3 kJ/mm but insignificant at 5 kJ/mm according to ASTm G48.
