The rapid expansion of the field of optical communications,in both its classical and quantum variants,has led to a desire to increase the bandwidth available for encoding information[1,2].Effects such as crosstalk[3]due to polarization rotation,linearly polarized(LP)mode interactions,four-wave mixing,and linear dispersion often reduce the maximum achievable bandwidth in classical communication systems,while degrading the fidelity and security of their quantum *** angular momentum(OAM)modes are independent eigenstates suitable for spatial division multiplexing in fiber and free-space transmission.

This article presents an extensive examination and modeling of Capacitor Coupled Substations (CCS), noting some of their inherent constraints. The underlying implementation of a CCS is to supply electricity directly from high-voltage (HV) transmission lines to low-voltage (LV) consumers through coupling capacitors and is said to be cost-effective as compared to conventional distribution networks. However, the functionality of such substations is susceptible to various transient phenomena, including ferroresonance and overvoltage occurrences. To address these challenges, the study uses simulations to evaluate the effectiveness of conventional resistor-inductor-capacitor (RLC) filter in mitigating hazardous overvoltage resulting from transients. The proposed methodology entails using standard RLC filter to suppress transients and its associated overvoltage risks. Through a series of MATLAB/Simulink simulations, the research emphasizes the practical effectiveness of this technique. The study examines the impact of transients under varied operational scenarios, including no-load switching conditions, temporary short-circuits, and load on/off events. The primary aim of the article is to assess the viability of using an established technology to manage system instabilities upon the energization of a CCS under no-load circumstances or in case of a short-circuit fault occurring on the primary side of the CCS distribution transformer. The findings underscore the effectiveness of conventional RLC filters in suppressing transients induced by the CCS no-load switching.

In this study, we reported and validated a novel and sensitive reversed-phase liquid chromatographic method for the simultaneous determination of irbesartan, candesartan, gliquidone and pioglitazone. Separation was performed at 230 nm using a mobile phase consisting of methanol–water(90:10, v/v) with a flow rate of 1 mL/min. p H was adjusted to 3.5 with phosphoric acid. The concentration-response relationship was found linear over a concentration range of 5–25 μg/mL for all of the analytes tested. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.83 and 2.78 for irbesartan, 0.30 and 1.01 for candesartan, 1.11 and 3.93 for gliquidone, and 0.41 and 1.41 μg/mL for pioglitazone, respectively. described method permitted the successful determination of these drugs in human serum. The developed method was simple, rapid, and it did not require extensive sample purification.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of the spanning simplicial complex As（G） associated to a simple finite connected graph G. We characterize all spanning trees of the uni-cyclic graph Un,m. In particular, we give a formula for computing the Hilbert series and h-vector of the Stanley-Reisner ring k[△s（Un,m）]. Finally, we prove that the spanning simplicial complex △s（Un,m） is shifted and hence is shellable.

Low power and real time very large scale integration （VLSI） architectures of motion estimation （ME） algorithms for mobile devices and applications are presented. The power reduction is achieved by devising a novel correction recovery mechanism based on algorithms which allow the use of reduced bit sum of absolute difference （RBSAd） metric for calculating matching error and conversion to full resolution sum of absolute difference （SAd） metric whenever necessary. Parallel and pipelined architectures for high throughput of full search ME corresponding to both the full resolution SAd and the generalized RBSAd algorithm are synthe- sized using Xilinx Synthesis Tools （XST）, where the ME designs based on reduced bit （RB） algorithms demonstrate the reduction in power consumption up to 45% and/or the reduction in area up to 38%.

Two modified electrodes （Pb/PbO2 and C/PbO2） were prepared by electrodepositing a lead oxide layer on lead and carbon sub- strates. These modified electrodes were used as anodes for the generation of sodium hypochlorite （NaOC1） from sodium chloride solution. different operating conditions and factors affecting the treatment process of NaOC1 generation, including current density, pH values, con- ductive electrolytes, and electrolysis time, were studied and optimized. By comparison the C/PbO2 electrode shows a higher efficiency than the Pb/PbO2 electrode for the generation of NaOC1.

The metal complexes of norfloxacin were prepared, and their structures were characterized using spectroscopic techniques like IR, 1H NMR, UV, atomic absorption, and CHN analysis. The solubility, melting point, and conductance measurements were also performed. These studies suggested that norfloxacin formed complexes with the metals utilizing carbonyl oxygen atom of the ring and carboxylic group oxygen atom. The antibacterial activities of these metal complexes against 14 different Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms were studied by the disk susceptibility method. It was observed that the complexes of norfloxacin with magnesium, calcium, cobalt, nickel, and copper showed improved activity compared with the stated drug.
