Assessment and Modelling of the Radiation Behaviour through Atmosphere for North Eastern Part of Egypt

The aim of this work is the assessment of the behavior of the radiation over studied area at the different seasons of the year using mathematical model. To achieve this purpose, the dispersion factor has been calculated. The calculated dispersion factor gives an indication about the behavior and the distribution of pollutants in the atmosphere. Since the used model requires specific measuring hourly metrological data over long periods of time at least one year such as wind speed, incoming solar, radiation and wind direction for studied area. Also terrain information and population distribution should be taken into consideration. The atmospheric parameters such as monthly wind rose, hourly stability classes and joint frequency have been determined using developed computer programs. The results of wind rose shown that the prevailing wind direction for studied area is northeast direction in winter. This situation give us a prima.y.knowledge about months （months of winter） at which the studied area may be affected by the air coming from the east borders. The results of dispersion factor indicate that the sectors S, SSE and SE for the studying area are greatly exposed to air which may be polluted.

Islands of stability and quasi-magic numbers for super- and ultra-hea.y.nuclei

In the framework of Strutinsky＇s approach, we calculated the shell and the residual pairing correction energies for 5569 even-even nuclei in the range 72 ≤ Z ≤ 282 and 96≤N ≤ 540. Quasi-magic numbers and deformed islands of stability that reside in a range defined by Green＇s formula and the two-neutrons drip line are introduced. We present 36 quasi-magic proton and 53 quasi-magic neutron magic numbers that contribute to the formation of 133 deformed islands of stability along the N-Z space. The quasi-magic proton and neutron magic numbers volatile as the mass number increases and other magic numbers take over. Consequently, the deformed islands of stability fail to exhibit a pattern along the search space covered.

Search for dark matter production in association with the Z′ boson at the LHC in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV using Monte Carlo simulations

This ana.y.is evaluates the possibility of the search for Dark Matter(DM)particles using events with a Zf hea.y.gauge boson and a large missing transverse momentum at the Large Hadron Collider(LHC).We consider the muonic decay of Z'.The ana.y.ed Monte Carlo samples were the Open simulated files produced by the Compact Muon Solenoid(CMS)collaboration for proton-proton collisions,corresponding to an integrated luminosity of the LHC run-I with 19.7 fb^(-1) at √s=8 *** scenarios,namely a simplified benchmark scenario,called Dark Higgs,and the effective field theory(EFT)formalism,were used for *** were set on Z′,dark matter masses,and the cutoff scale of the EFT.
