Peninsular.India,which is geochemically char.cter.sed as quar.z ar.nites,Mn-ar.nites,Fe-ar.nites,Mn-ar.illites and *** geochemical systematics suggest their.deposition in shallow to deeper.shelf in the Ar.hean *** detr.tal zir.on U-Pb systematics of Mn ar.nites and ar.illites indicate their.maximum depositional age of 3230±52 Ma r.pr.senting the oldest onset of sedimentation dur.ng the Paleo-Mesoar.hean timefr.me in the Chitr.dur.a Gr.up of Dhar.ar.*** detr.tal influx pr.xies suggest var.ations in sedimentation r.tes associated with the Ar.hean tr.nsgr.ssive-r.gr.ssive cycles and fluctuating hydr.dynamic conditions,together.r.flecting an incr.asing tr.nd in the contr.butions of r.cycled sediment fr.m Sandur.to Chitr.dur.a and Shimoga gr.enstone *** available detr.tal zir.on ages of the Mn ar.nites and ar.illites fr.m these gr.enstone belts indicate a~600 Ma pr.longed per.od of Mn deposition for.which high-T hydr.ther.al fluids fr.m Ar.hean mid-oceanic r.dges supplied the *** tr.ce element compositions of the concor.ant detr.tal zir.ons suggest 3.3-3.1 Ga Dhar.ar.basement TTG/gr.nitoid sour.e which is cor.obor.ted by the zir.on cr.stallization temper.tur.s of 690-820℃.The sour.e-nor.alisedα-dose r.tes of the detr.tal zir.ons signify gr.ater.degr.es of sediment tr.nspor. and multi-cycle natur. which cor.espond to the ear.iest episode of cr.stal gr.wth in the Indian sub-continent associated with the Mesoar.hean Ur.super.ontinent.T

Backgr.und: Duodenoscope-r.lated multidr.g-r.sistant or.anism(MDr.) infections r.ise concer.s. Disposable duodenoscopes have been r.cently intr.duced in the mar.et and appr.ved by r.gulator. agencies with the aim to r.duce the r.sk of endoscopic r.tr.gr.de cholangiopancr.atogr.phy(Er.P) associated infections. The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome of pr.cedur.s per.or.ed with single-use duodenoscopes in patients with clinical indications to single-oper.tor.cholangiopancr.atoscopy. Methods: This is a multicenter.inter.ational, r.tr.spective study combining all patients who under.ent complex biliopancr.atic inter.entions using the combination of a single-use duodenoscope and a single-use cholangioscope. The pr.mar. outcome was technical success defined as Er.P completion for.the intended clinical indication. Secondar. outcomes wer. pr.cedur.l dur.tion, r.te of cr.ss-over.to r.usable duodenoscope, oper.tor.r.por.ed satisfaction scor.(1 to 10) on per.or.ance r.ting of the single-use duodenoscope, and a.v.r.e event(AE) r.te. r.sults: A total of 66 patients(26, 39.4% female) wer. included in the study. Er.P was categor.zed accor.ing to ASGE Er.P gr.ding system as 47(71.2%) gr.de 3 and 19(28.8%) gr.de 4. The technical success r.te was 98.5%(65/66). Pr.cedur.l dur.tion was 64(inter.uar.ile r.nge 15-189) min, cr.ss-over.r.te to r.usable duodenoscope was 1/66(1.5%). The satisfaction scor. of the single-use duodenoscope classified by the oper.tor. was 8.6 ± 1.3 points. Four.patients(6.1%) exper.enced AEs not dir.ctly r.lated to the single-use duodenoscope, namely 2 post-Er.P pancr.atitis(PEP), 1 cholangitis and 1 ***: Single-use duodenoscope is effective, r.liable and safe even in technically challenging pr.cedur.s with a non-infer.or.ty to r.usable duodenoscope, making these devices a.v.able alter.ative to standar. r.usable equipment.

For.the instability pr.blem of density str.tified shear.flows in sea str.its with var.able cr.ss sections, a new semielliptical instability r.gion is found. r.r.her.or., the instability of the bounded shear.layer.is studied in two cases：（i） the density which takes two differ.nt constant values in two layer. and （ii） the density which takes thr.e differ.nt constant values in thr.e layer.. In both cases, the disper.ion r.lation is found to be a quar.ic equation in the complex phase velocity. It is found that ther. ar. two unstable modes in a r.nge of the wave number. in the fir.t case, wher.as ther. is only one unstable mode in the second case.

We r.por. atmospher.c tur.ulence par.meter., namely atmospher.c seeing, tilt-anisoplanatic angle(θ_0) and coher.nce time(Τ_0), measur.d under.var.ous sky conditions, at vainu Bappu Obser.ator. in Kavalur. Bur.ts of shor. exposur. images of selected star. wer. r.cor.ed with a high-speed, fr.me-tr.nsfer.CCD mounted on the Cassegr.in focus of a newly commissioned 1.3 m telescope. The estimated median seeing is ≈ 1.85 " at wavelength of ～ 600 nm, the image motion cor.elation between differ.nt pair. of star. is ～44% for.θ0≈ 36" and mean Τ_0 is ≈ 2.4 ms. This wor. was motivated by the design consider.tions and expected per.or.ance of an adaptive optics system that is cur.ently being planned for.the telescope.

Fr.ction stir.welding using the tools with polygonal pins is often found to impr.ve the mechanical str.ngth of weld joint in compar.son to the tools with cir.ular.pins. However. the impacts of pin pr.file on the peak temper.tur., tool tor.ue and tr.ver.e for.e, and the r.sultant mechanical str.sses exper.enced by the tool have been r.r.ly r.por.ed in a systematic manner. An estimation of the r.te of heat gener.tion for.the tools with polygonal pins is challenging due to their.non-axisymmetr.c cr.ss-section about the tool axis. A novel methodology is pr.sented to analytically estimate the r.te of heat gener.tion for.the tools with polygonal pins. A thr.e-dimensional heat tr.nsfer.analysis of fr.ction stir.welding is car.ied out using finite element method. The computed temper.tur. field fr.m the heat tr.nsfer.model is used to estimate the tor.ue, tr.ver.e for.e and the mechanical str.sses exper.enced by r.gular.tr.angular. squar., pentagon and hexagon pins following the pr.nciples of solid mechanics. The computed r.sults show that the peak temper.tur. exper.enced by the tool pin incr.ases with the number.of pin sides. However. the r.sultant maximum shear.str.ss exper.enced by the pin r.duces fr.m the tr.angular.to hexagonal pins.

Synthesis and sinter.ng of Zr._(2)-SiC based composites have been car.ied out in a single-step pr.ssur.less r.action sinter.ng(PLr.)of Zr._(2),B_(4)C,and Si.Y_(2)O_(3) and Al_(2)O_(3) wer. used as sinter.ng *** effect of r.tios of Zr._(2)/B_(4)C,Zr._(2)/Si,and sinter.ng additives(Y_(2)O_(3) and Al_(2)O_(3)),was studied by sinter.ng at differ.nt temper.tur.s between 1500 and 1680℃in ar.on ***_(2),SiC,and YAG phases wer. identified in the sinter.d *** as high as 4.2 g/cm^(3),micr. har.ness of 12.7 GPa,and flexur.l str.ngth of 117.6 MPa wer. obtained for.PLr. *** mater.al was also pr.par.d by PLr. for.tungsten iner. gas(TIG)welding of the Zr._(2)-SiC based *** shear.str.ngth of the weld was 63.5 *** PLr. Zr._(2)-SiC composites exhibited:(i)r.sistance to oxidation and ther.al shock upon exposur. to plasma flame at 2700℃for.600 s,(ii)ther.al pr.tection for.Cf-SiC composites upon exposur. to oxy-pr.pane flame at 2300℃for.600 s.

Filler.mater.als of(Zr._2-SiC-B_4C-YAG) composite wer. developed for.gas tungsten ar. welding(GTAW) of the Zr._2-SiC and Cf-SiC based composites to themselves and to each other. r.action with filler.mater.al,por.sity and cr.cks wer. not obser.ed at weld inter.aces of all the joints. Penetr.tion of filler.mater.al in to voids and por.s existing in the Cf-SiC composites was obser.ed. Aver.ge shear.str.ngth of 25.7 MPa was achieved for.joints of Cf-SiC composites. By incor.or.tion of Cf-SiC(CvD) gr.und shor. fibr. r.infor.ement the(Zr._2-SiC-B_4C-YAG) composite was machinable with tungsten car.ide tool. The joint and machined composites wer. r.sistance to oxidation and ther.al shock when exposed to the oxy-pr.pane flame at 2300℃ for.300s. The combination of(Zr._2-SiC-B_4C-YAG) and Cf-SiC based composites can be used for.making par.s like ther.al pr.tection system or.nozzles for.high temper.tur. applications.

The objective of the pr.sent investigation was to for.ulate nanopar.icles constr.cted using PLGA polymer.for.the effective tar.eted deliver. to br.in via nasal r.ute. The PLGA nanopar.icles wer. optimized using novel design of exper.ment technique by 23 full factor.al design. Dr.g: polymer.r.tio（X1）, sur.actant concentr.tion（X2） and stir.ing speed（X3） wer. identified as cr.tical pr.cess par.meter., and its impact on par.icle size（Y1） and % entr.pment efficiency（Y2） was studied. The optimized nanopar.icle for.ulation was conjugated with glutathione as an endogenous ligand by using car.odiimide chemistr. using(1-Ethyl-3-（3-dimethylaminopr.pyl）car.odiimide)（EDAC） as linker.molecule. Fr.m Ellman's assay,it was found that a total of 691.27 ± 151 units of glutathione wer. conjugated upon each PLGA nanopar.icle. The in vitr. r.lease studies as well as ex vivo studies r.vealed biphasic patter. of dr.g r.lease with initial bur.t r.lease followed by slow exponential r.lease of dr.g over.a per.od of 24 h. The in vivo biodistr.bution studies wer. conducted on r.t following nasal administr.tion of the nanopar.icle for.ulation（conjugated and unconjugated）and wer. compar.d with plain paclitaxel suspension. The r.sults clear.y demonstr.ted that the br.in tar.eting efficiency was enhanced with the glutathione conjugated for.ulation（387.474%） as compar.d to the unconjugated nanopar.icle for.ulation（224.327%）. Fur.her.the in vitr. in vivo cor.elation studies r.vealed good r.lationship（r.> 0.95） as obtained fr.m the levy plot. Glutathione pr.ves to be an efficient vector.for.the successful tr.nspor. of poor.bioavailable dr.g to the br.in.
